Last year in December 2016 I bought a new hover-board from hoverboard closeouts when my daughter opened it for Christmas she only got to use it for one day before the wheel kept sticking and almost throwing her off of the board. So I contacted them by phone (when they had a phone number) and was given the run around 3 months later I finally got the return label. They sent us back the exact same one but this time the light was pushed in and it worked for 30 min. Well we didn't know any thing was wrong with it tell the end of may when my daughter came back from her dads house and I have sent them 3 to 4 emails about the issues and today I sent another one and they finally emailed me back saying my first email was passed the 30 days and that was the warranty and nothing they can do! Well no the warrenty I was told from the start was a year I was never told anything different when they sent me it back. And we haven't even had the hoverboard for a year. So I feel they took advantage of us and that's not right my daughter is the one who losses out. And now I don't know what to do with a broken hover board!

Bought the hoverboard aroud Christmas wanted to know about the warranty he haven't had a chance to ride it seens April what do we do when I got the hoverboard for him on Christmas we had a piece of it was chipped an we didn't return it cause his dad said it was ok it's nothing to return it for but a few months later it doesn't work or cut on what do we do now or let me know how can we get this resolved an would like to order more thing in the future

December 22nd 2016 order #3170 well first of all it took six weeks to receive the hover boards thank god they made it before christmas. One hover board worked color red but the black one did not. Right out the box as soon as you turn it on, it was like a jumping jack fire cracker very aggressive, leaving track marks all over my kitchen floor. After talking to hover board closeout and them running me thru calibrating the board which did not work i asked for an exchange. They said that they were backed up on printing labels and i will receive a email to print out a label to send it back. 6 months later no label and they changed their number.

HoverBoardCloseouts never got an exchange or refund as promised

I have placed an order of a hooverboard for my son for christams 2016. I was convinced this website a promising lagit site after so many i went through. As a middle class person i couldnt afford a high dollar one so i got a refurbished one. Finally got one on 11/28/2016 for $179.00. The package came in good condition and so was the hooverboard. Worked for a week until we had to recharge and that when it failed. After instense calling and waiting for a label in my email, i quit in fusteration. Im still upset as my son tries to charge it and puts his hopes up...05/27/2017.

Order hoverboard on dec. 7th received it on dec.27th it didn't work called the on the 28th of dec. Been waiting on refund since received email on feb. 27th nothing else my order number #10344 the email stated that return labels were being processed still nothing i try calling every week but now all calls go straight to voicemail don't know whatelse to do

The hovsrboatd didn't last 24 hours...We have been complaining to the company since Christmas...We've made numerous calls. I keep getting told shipping labels are "on the way. " What a joke... The company's Tele number note goes straight to voice-mail. I'm launching an investigation. This website is a complete scam. You simply cannot do this to kids and get away with it.

HoverBoardCloseouts 2 black hoverboards - both froze up in less than 24 hours

I ordered two hover boards on 12/12/16 for Christmas order #12390
I did not receive them until after Christmas 12/27/16
One hover board lasted for (4) hours before it froze up
The second hover board lasted until the next day before it froze up

I called the following Monday 1-2 / i was told i would be emailed a return label

I never received an email - I called back and was assured i would receive an email the next day - i never received an email

They advertise 100% guarantee and a 30 day return policy that I initiated a couple days after I received them

I still have the 2 junk hover boards that I do not want (See photo - they're ready to send back) - I never received the return labels.

I need the return labels and

I WANT MY MONEY BACK

HoverBoardCloseouts Broken hoverboard, can't get a shipping label

For Christmas we bought two hoverboards from hoverboard closeouts and one of the hoverboards did not work right out of the box and the charger was broken. We tried charging the broken hoverboard with the one charger that did work, it would not charge. Because it had a little charge right out of the box my son had tried it and it wouldn't turn left. I have called 8 times since Christmas and am always told they are sending me a return label and that they will replace the hoverboard and charger, but we can't even get the return label sent out. I am always told it will be sent out within 5-7 days the last time I called they said they would send it out within the next 2 days (this was 3 days ago). We still have never received one. I am worried that if they can't even get a shipping label to us are they really going to replace it? My daughters hoverboard works great but it is sad that we spent good money for a hoverboard we can't even use and we can't get the label to return. I have thought about just sending it back myself but fear that they won't return the money or exchange it. I am at a loss and am ready to just buy my son a new one from another company. They are terrible. Terrible customer service, no one knows what the last person said to me. Everyone makes promises and never follow through. There is no reason a shipping label takes 5-7 days but I have been patient and giving them the benefit of the doubt but two months later this is ridiculous. Now their customer service number doesn't work and says to send an email. Well I have sent several emails and NO ONE will respond. I would not recommend them to anyone. EVER!

This Company SUCKS! Somebody really needs to shut it down. I have been waiting on a return label for 3 months now and every time I call customer service they tell me I will have it within 5 to 10 business days. They never answer emails and now the customer service number is a recording. I will never recommend anyone to this website ever. I'm still waiting on a return label but the way it looks I am going to have to talk to someone else.

HoverBoardCloseouts Non-functional hoverboard

I ordered two hoverboards in December. Received before x-mas. One hover board broke several days later. I have been calling the customer service and have not received a return label. I have also emailed the company several times and no response. Customer service is a "virtual receptionist" for the company and not affiliated with the company continues to say a mailing label will be provided in 2-3 days, they informed me they have receive several complaints about faulty hoverboards.

HoverBoardCloseouts Hoverboard damaged

I ordered a overboard for my daughters Christmas. I received it took it out of the box the night before Christmas to charge it. It did show charging. She wakes up Christmas morning and guess what. The overboard works for 5 minutes then stops in mid track slings her off and she had to be rushed to the emergency room with a broken wrist. I contacted them and they replied back on 12/29/16 saying they would send me out a return slip and as of today 2/13/17 I have yet to receive one. I call they tell me they have NO supervisor or managers that work there and that they are behind and will send it out shortly.
I think this company is a SCAM and needs to be looked at. I am getting an attorney myself because they don't want to pay me back. I will get them for my daughter having a broken wrist as well.

HoverBoardCloseouts Hoverboards

Terrible, terrible, terrible:

We ordered 4 hoverboards or our grandchildren on 12/14/16.

As of today, we have received 2 that we ordered, 1 that we did not order (a lesser model) and 1 that still has not been shipped.

I have called customer service for about 12 times now and have not received any information as to when our 4th board will be shipped. I am waiting for a so called "shipping label" so that I may return the board that was shipped in error. We have 2 grandchildren that have been waiting for their boards since Christmas.

I have been told week in and week out that customer service will email me and send me updates. I have NEVER ONCE received any email from customer service.

At this point, what are our options?

I see that this company has disappointed many customers.

We need answers...they have received $1, 400.00 from us.

HoverBoardCloseouts Exchange/refund, customer service

Have contacted the company no fewer than a dozen times over the past 35 days, trying to get them to email me a shipping label so that I could exchange a non-functional hoverboard. Get the run-around every time I speak to someone with their answering service- I am always told that the department (for which the answering service has no phone number) that emails the shipping labels will be sent an email requesting that action. I was told by one representative to request to speak to a supervisor via email. I've never received a response to any of my emails and I have yet to receive the shipping label. I've filed a complaint with the BBB and they've yet to hear anything from the company either. I originally wanted to exchange the product, but now I just want a refund of my money. My 7 year old would just like his Christmas gift.

I purchased a hover board Dec 7th for a Christmas gift for my son. There were no instructions in the box and the hover board was charged but once that ran out it never charged again. This was a gift from "Santa" how do you explain to you child who still believes that Santa made him a bad gift and I can't get anyone to actually help me? I have emailed 5 times and called at least a dozen. I get the same run around about sending me a damn return label and I am in line. It has now been 5 weeks and they are telling me 2 more weeks. This is insane and I am extremely frustrated. I just want a hover board that works. I have even asked if they will send me a new board an I will promise to send his board that does not work as soon as they send me the return label...

I received the hover board as order, it stopped working within 5 days. I have been calling for a refund or exchange everyday and have not received either. This company is a scam. Every time I call I get the run around. "You will receive the return label by this Wednesday" and then it was "We ship it out on Monday" and one time it was basically we can not tell you when we are shipping it out...
This company needs to be shut down ASAP so no more people are scammed.

I have been calling since December 25th to get a return shipping label with no luck. This was a Christmas gift and has not worked at all since getting it out of the package. I have called 5 times, each times getting assured I would get and email with a return shipping label. NOTHING! Today when I called, Gabriella told me she was not allowed to transfer my call to the department who emails the shipping labels nor to the manager. What a scam! Do not ever buy from this place. I first wanted to exchange the product but now I want my money back. I will never purchase from here again!

My comment is a about power ride outlet.com. This company is deceitful and dishonest . It is a scam . Powerrideoutlet business is not even located at 1336 upland Ca. As it states on the website. HoverBoardCloseouts Defective hoverboard and unprofessionalism

I purchased this item less than 30 days ago as a christmas gift. The item was opens for the first time on today, christmas. Straight from the box, the item was then fully charged. The item has not been able to work (Calibrate) at all. There is a continuous blinking of the red circle. Upon internet research the item has a defective sensor and will not operate. I am requesting a full refund for the defective product immediately. I am completely dissatisfied.
I have been waiting for almost over a month to receive the proper documentation in order to return the defective product purchased from company. I have been given the run around since nice day one. I was told the policy is 3-5 business days to receive a shipping label to return products for refund and/or replacement. This is not the case. You have told me that there is a new employee that is handling the shipping labels, you have told me that my issue will be escalated and attended to within 2 business days due to no one being available. I have even been told that there is only one person working the department and is backed up due to the christmas holiday.
This is highly unacceptable and unprofessional. I will be sure to notify the media, via newspaper, social media and leave this detailed review on how not to buy from hoverboard closeouts. I am merely asking to return the product and receive the refund that is due to me for you serving me as a customer a defective/broken hoverboard that my child is completely saddened about.

We gave are children a choice of one big gift or a bunch of little one of course they pick 2 hover boards.money is tight. Xmas morning arivied 2 non working hover boards.have been calling and sent over 15 e mails with the same run around.very dispointed I am calling my bank to dispuite the charge.If or when I receive the shipping labels I will return there worthless product. And will contact my lawyer.

We purchased a hoverboard for my son for Christmas 2016. It didn't work the first time he turned it on. The gears were stuck. We've been trying to exchange it and have been getting the run around for 3 weeks. They keep telling us a return shipping label will be emailed. They keep giving us the excuse that the holidays are delaying the process. We call and email every other day. We still have not received the label or response email.

HoverBoardCloseouts Hoverboard will not charge

When we received the hover board it was charged and worked for a few hours and then nothing at all. It will not re charge. I have sent several emails to the customer service and have made several calls and spoken to a few different people, Hector and Oscar and another female at one point. They all seem to take a claim and let me know that they will send a new charger, however nothing has yet to be done. My first phone call and email to them was on December 26th. It is now January 13, 2017 and still nothing ... Very upset that people like this do not take care of their customers. Order #5392

I placed order of two hoverboards on Dec 8, 2016 they said it was quick shipment and would ship out in 2 day once my payment was excepted. They took the money out of my account but I didn't get a hoverboard till Dec 27 and I only received one out of the two so I called them on Dec 27 told them I only got one of the two that I order and they told me they were out of the color I order I said that fine what color do you have they said black and told them that was fine send it to this day I haven't gotten the other hoverboard I call everyday and they tell me the same thing that it has a shipping label but its still in the warehouse I ask to speak to a manager or supervisor but there is never no one that I can talk to... I will be reporting them to the beater bossiness bureau... The worst customer service I have ever dealt with...
