Home Depot A Reliable Source for Home improvement items

We are blessed with a real 'mom and pop' lumber yard in our town, but sometimes they can't compete with the stock available at a nearby 'big box' like Home Depot. When we need a home improvement item our first try is the 'mom and pop' and if that doesn't work out then it's off to HomeDepot.com

You can search their web site for whatever you are looking for and then see which of the area stores has it in stock. - reserve or buy it online and then pick it up - easy peasy!

You can also have stuff home-delivered, sometimes free, sometimes not - depends. Or you can always have it shipped to a nearby store and pick it up there.

If you shop at a store in person their sales staff ia generally quite knowledgeable. Many of the 'specialty trades' salespeople are retired contractors or other workers who really know their stuff. Almost as good as at our 'mom and pop' first choice store.

Home Depot Homewood home depot store manager

Tom Yusak is the store manager of Homewood, IL Home Depot and was extremely customer friendly, professional and accomodating when I arrived on 7/27/19 to inform that my bricks for my patio project was 155 bricks short. He was attentive to my needs and did not argue in regards to charging me an additional delivery fee for the remaining bricks to e delivered. He walked me through aisle of bricks and calculated to the "nine"! And promised me a delivery on the same day of original date. WOW! What a welcome change in customer service! KUDOS Tom on a job well done. I was prepared to come with guns blazing but there was no need. Keep up the good work.! 2nd delivery on that date arrived with 2 Home Depot young men who was also professional and accomodating in that delivered items to the site of my project without incident, on time and greeted me with a smile. They were (DeShawn and Jose'). I am so happy with my recent experience and would recommend to any and everyone to this Homewood store!

Home Depot Empowered to solve a problem

I reached out to the New Hartford NY Home Depot to help me with a challenge I was having with one of the appliance companies. (The issue had absolutely no connection to the store except it was where I bought it.) MIke, one of the store managers, actually listened to my saga and took it upon himself to help me solve the problem. On his own, he reached out to corporate and got Greg involved. Rather than just saying that the manual says a certain thing, they got creative, they reached out to their superiors with an idea and a solution. Within a couple of hours they solved what the other rigid and inflexible company could not do in a year. This is not the first time I've had a Home Depot employee reach out to his supervisor to help me solve a challenge - luckily just a building challenge in the past! No company can be perfect, and not all employees have the experience or maybe the creativity to solve every problem. But respectfully reaching out to a manager can often make the difference we look for.

Home Depot Greatest customer service ever

Recently decided to start building my own house so I went to home depot to get me a quote on all the material I need it where they gave me the greatest deal I couldn't refuse it was amazing so i went on with the purchase i never thought it was this easy it was like if I was in and out of the store in seconds with the greatest deal ever they make everything seem so easy for the customer they make u feel at home they are very helpful at all times a few minutes ago I went to pick up an order of material that I had pending for tommorow I know it was really late to pick up a big order of lumber at this time of the night the employees got the material ready and loaded me up as fast as they could it was almost closing time and literally almost all the employees during that shift even the manager came out to help me load up and tie down the material I really appreciate this gesture not only because you all helped me load up but because you all made sure everything safely tied up in order for me to get safe to where I was going this really made my night greatest help ever thank you

Home Depot I love doing business with Home Depot because the buck

I love doing business with Home Depot because the buck does stop with the CEO as he proclaimed. I have been a customer at Home Depot for close to 20 years but only a fairly recent on line shopper. I had several problems with my online purchases in late 2012. I emailed the CEO, got a response within 12 hours, a phone call within 24 hours from an online sales manager, and all my issues were resolved in about a week. That is what I call customer service. I have never found customer service as good as this in any other on line shopping business. The very close seconds were Amazon and Walmart.
When I first started shopping at Home Depot, I was overwhelmed by the size. Over the years, their customer service improved and they carry a wider variety of products than could be stocked by the local hardware Stebbins ANdersen, which was known for their service. When STebbins-Andersen told me to of to Home Depot for something I could not find and assured me that Home Depot had customer service, I switched to Home Depot and found that for the most part, the customer service was indeed very good.

Home Depot Financing terms

I've used HomeDepot and Lowes the last many years for materials to remodel our 37 rooms at our lodge near Yellowstone. Lowes gets a 5 star rating as their long term 24 mo. No interest is easier to use and they still give me the veterans discount where HD offers one or the other and they have to make a call to get 24 mo approval so it takes more time. However I need to use both places at times like I will this week when ordering $10-15,000 of materials to remodel 6 more rooms this winter when our lodge is closed. Just be sure to not miss any payments or the interest is retroactive to day one at some ridiculous rate of 24% or something! This program lets us get the rooms done in the off season and pay for them when cash flow is large during the summer season. Works great! Update 9-28-16 Another trip to both stores and this time HD gave us a 12% discount on our total purchase of $3600+ at their contractor desk. Many of these items were still priced with their Labor Day discounts. We were very impressed so two weeks later we ordered another $1600 in sliding doors and windows. Another good experience as they called it a continuation of our same project and got us the same 2 yrs no interest financing!

Home Depot Honest

Well I have been having project in mind for about 5yrs now. But of course money will always be an issue. You seem like you're getting ahead then boom reality will kick in & another issue will occur. I was hesitant because i am new to all this. So I called a several people. The first one was a little pushy & said i needed this & that which is fine i know the house is a bit older but the price was higher by a full grand. The other lady i spoke with was nice but her estimate was satisfactory plus her completion time was outrageous but she was nice. So i did my research on prices for the supplies needed as much as i could do any way. So i called another gentleman named Angel Jose Turcios. He was up front & on time for our meet which of course a plus. His demeanor was relaxed & friendly. He had his research down pretty good when it came to cost of the materials. His cost was more realistic & honest & went with my budget. Decided to go with him & im glad he did. He would call me here & there & keep me updated with the status. He took his job seriously & just the little things he payed attention too made you feel that he cared about his work. So thank you Angel Jose Turcios with the Home Depot Referral program. I will continue to share my story with friends because my house looks great!

Home Depot Installation service and customer service just scam

If I could rate this location 0 stars, I certainly would!

Considering window installation or any other services in the Bay Area, SF, or East Bay? DON'T DO IT.

We ordered new windows from Home Depot (HD) with installation included. One of the windows, an expensive Andersen window, was poorly installed and is leaking in the middle. We reported the leak in November 2023, and as of March 1, 2024, we still haven't received a resolution or service. It's been constant ignorance from them. We managed to get Home Depot to move after reporting the issue to the BBB, but their response has been painfully slow, and the local installation team management continues to ignore us.

Spend your money elsewhere, not with people who couldn't care less about their reputation, or Home Depot's for that matter. And to top it off, I can't find a way to post a service review on Home Depot's windows installation website. There's no button available even when I'm logged in. So after spending approximately $35k at Home Depot, I can't even leave them a feedback

We are so unbelievably sorry to hear of your experience. This is the very first time your experience has come to our attention and we promise to address the issue in a much more timely fasion.

There is no way you would want your windows to leak, especially during a bad weather season. Although possible that the window is out of alignment, it's every bit as likely that the studs around the window are out of alignment. This is something we see on aging homes and should be addressed by a framing expert.

Please provide us with a receipt number and the date of purchase. All labor involved with the installation is warrantied for one full year.

We look forward to hearing back from you.

Home Depot Do not use home depot - worst nightmare ever

Do not do laminate cabinet "reface" or any service from Home Depot Home Services. My job was done so poorly it had to be redone several times. I am still unhappy. I asked for a refund for the reface and was sent a form letter signed "The Home Depot." An actual person could not sign the denial. See pic.

This job took 1.5 years by very unprofessional contractors. The first contractor had a boot on his foot and could not stand upright. It took him 7 days to complete and he asked me to order lunch for him each day. He then said we needed to be friends after he was done with the job. Having in my home as a single woman was scary,

My calls and e-mails would go unanswered for weeks/months. I would reach out to corporate only to be redirected to the local HD contacts that would not reply to my e-mails and messages.

I chose Home Depot because I thought with their name, they had to provide a good service. I was wrong and they could care less about their customers.

Home Depot Poor customer service!!!!!

I'm doing a bathroom remodel so me and my contractors have bought a lot of things from home depot to complete this project. Unfortunately we had to make changes and had to return and buy different things from home depot. When trying to return one of the last items we needed to change, we got flagged for too many returns, and they said we couldn't return the item, even though we had the receipt and tried to return the item unopened and a week after we received it. When trying to talk to someone at "Retail Equation" (the outsourced business that home depot uses) they said they can't do anything for me or listen to my complaint, and then hung up on me. I went to Home Depot in West Allis WI and talked to a manager and they also said they couldn't help me. I am a war veteran of the United States Navy and I can't beleive that they treat their customers this way. I have been trying to fit this and will continue trying to email and call people until they make this right!

Home Depot Poor packing and the order came in 5 shipments and Items were missing.

The packing was awful, two items (2 Stems for Price Pfister tub faucets) came in plastic containers that were alone, lose in a large box. The plastic store display packages tore open and parts were spilled out.

Another item ( A Marquis Replacement Diverter Stem for Tub and Shower Faucets) was shipped alone in a bag and the plastic pack was broken. A part was missing, (a valve seat) but the bag was sealed so it was gone before it shipped.

The last of the order was supposed to be a repair kit for a Price Pfister diverter, and a repair kit for a Price Pfister Stem. The packing slip only had One item; the diverter repair kit. So I thought the repair kit for the stem would come in another shipment. NOPE it never came.

I texted HOME DEPOT and they said all items have been delivered and it is "policy to call and dispute the charges". Call who? PayPal? My credit card? Home Depot? WHO? This took 30 texts and around 32 minuets. What B.S..

I went to the Home Depot web sight and chatted with some one there. After another 30 or 40 minuets The agent said all items were shipped, but "out of courtesy they would refund the charge" for the repair kit for a Price Pfister Stem $5.21 Wow so out of the goodness of there corporate heart they would not charge me for something I never got. They did not however, apologize at any time for the inconvenience or hassles they caused me. One order from Home Depot was more trouble than I've had in ten years with all other online shopping combined,

Home Depot Do yourself a favor and skip home depot!!

We ordered a refrigerator from Home Depot it was damaged. The delivery service they have is some 3rd party company and they are awful. The company came to pick up the refrigerator and the two guys had a strong smell of marijauna. They had absolutely no idea why they were even at our house. They were going to deliver items to us and until I told them no you’re here to pick up a refrigerator. They had no idea how to carry a refrigerator looked like the first time they even did it. While taking it down the stairs they damaged our hallway and damaged the flooring in our kitchen. We ordered a dishwasher a microwave and refrigerator from them. When you spend hundreds of dollars on appliances you expect professional people to show up and do a good job. You will not get that with Home Depot. You can try to reach out about the issue but you will get nowhere.

Home Depot Delivery Driver Snatched Phone From My Hand and Refused to Unload My Washer/Dryer

I knew better than to order from Home Depot. I had a bad experience with an appliance delivery 4 years ago. However, the store manager was amazing back then and told me they were trying to get rid of the outside delivery contractor company and build a delivery service within Home Depot. He worked with me and made sure the new appliances were re-delivered on time and damage free. I continued to shop frequently at Home Depot. It's less than 5 miles down the road.

Fast forward 4 years. I needed a new washer/dryer installed and the old washer/dryer hauled away. I paid $2000 and patiently waited for the delivery. I knew it was going to be delivered on 09/21 but I didn't know what time. Typically a delivery company calls, texts, or emails the day before with a time frame, ex. 8a-11am. I did not receive anything notification from Home Depot. This morning, I took my daughter to school. I left the house at 8:00am. It takes me 10 minutes there and 10 minutes back. At 8:17 am I received a text message from our receptionist (its a business) that they were here to install the washer/dryer. I said ok, let them know I will be there in less than 5 minutes. I arrived at 8:20am and greeted the drivers. One of them moved the truck while the other one came with me. He told me they could not install because I needed a longer hose (8 feet). I questioned, do you have one on the truck? He said no. I said, I will go and get one. He said, no, he could not wait. I said, Home Depot is less than 5 miles from here. By the time you remove the old units and install the new units, I will be back with the hose. He said no. I asked to speak to his manager since I paid $150 for the installation and $50 for the haul away. He called over and over and could not get the manager on the phone. I asked one of our employees to go to Home Depot and pick up a hose. He did as I requested. We finally got the manager on the phone. She explained they had a policy the guys could not stay longer than 30 minutes. I said ma'am they've only been here about 15 minutes. I've sent a young man to Home Depot to buy a hose. Can they please wait until he gets back? She said, I will allow them to stay for 10 minutes and then they have to leave. This is all on speaker phone, so the driver hears what she said. THE DRIVER SNATCHES THE PHONE OUT OF MY HAND AND SAYS, "I'M NOT DOING THIS!" He then gets into the delivery truck (which had Krispy Kreme painted over) and says he's leaving. I said, no, you have my washer and dryer on your truck. I've paid for it. We waited for the police to arrive. Basically, they told me, even though I paid for the merchandise, they could not make him unload it. It's considered a FAILED DELIVERY. Yes, the driver's can legally drive away with your merchandise in North Carolina! They also told me, I'm not the 1st person to have this issue with Home Depot. I contacted Home Depot corporate. The "best" they could offer me is: To reschedule the delivery and most likely I would have different delivery drivers, but they couldn't guarantee it. The delivery would be for Monday, but I'm out of town. I asked what time would they deliver it so I could have someone available to oversee the delivery. She told me I could call the store the night before to find out. It was too much! I asked her to cancel the order and refund the money. MY MAIN CONCERNS ARE: Nothing was mentioned about the driver snatching the phone out of my hand or disobeying his manager when she told him to stay for 10 minutes. Nothing was mentioned about the delivery drivers refusing to deliver my merchandise. WHY would I feel safe or trust this company any longer. Any company that allows their employees or contractors to treat customers this way, CAN NOT BE TRUSTED!

Home Depot Great customer service at Store #4655 in Lynchburg Virginia by Charles in Plumbing

I had not been to Home Depot for a number of years. I had been shopping at Lowe’s.

Home Depot #4655 is closer to my home so when I needed something quickly about a year ago I went there to make a purchase. I have been there to make numerous purchases since then due to the excellent customer service I received by one of your employees. Charles, in Plumbing helped me to locate exactly what I wanted Since that first time going back to Home Depot I will only shop when Charles is working. I will look for him and always receive first class courteous ,respectful ,knowledgeable and honest advice and friendly customer service from him. When looking for items I have been passed by other employees there who do not even ask if they can help me however no matter where I see Charles (even if he is on a stair thingy ) he will call out and greet me and ask if he can help me. I have not only always experienced this myself but have seen him treat other customers the same way. He is irreplaceable. A very very valued man with so many qualities that I pray Home Depot appreciates him. I want you to know that if he is not there when I go in I will leave and only come back to the store when he is there. I value and trust him on everything I need. You should have more employees like Charles in Plumbing and I send everyone I know to him for anything they may need.

Home Depot So many damaged items

We had to purchase additional flooring to replace some of the original order that had damaged pieces. It was a week late just like the original order causing delays for the contractors. This is what the two boxes looked like when I opened them. They left it outside the garage at 630 AM and signed for me and I can see why. It appears that they threw or just dropped the boxes on their ends. One whole box, with the plastic wrap torn open is useless.

We also bought the Terryn 72.20.35 vanity with engineered white marble top. When we opened it there were 2 chips on the rim and next to one of the sinks. The [censored] manager at sunset valley HD would only offer 250 credit. It cost that much to fix it so that you have to now where it was ... Customer service at this and the IH 35 and Slaughter locations absolutely SUCKS.

When we get the floors finished I am bringing the damaged flooring back and I expect a full refund.

I also want an additional 500.00 off the vanity for the delay and irritation and to repay us for your people damaging the vanity top.

What the hell has happened to home depot? You can Never find someone to help with questions. There are hardly any staff on the floor when you need one. I went in to buy some parts to move a ceiling fan and could not find anyone except the little high school girl cashier so I left and went to Lowe's and received immediate assistance spent my 100 bucks and left.

Home Depot thank you

On Aug. 27 I went to the Home Depot on Arizona Ave. and Ocotillo in Chandler with a broken clamp that holds the net across a ping pong table. The first HD employee was very helpful but when a second employee joined us well, as they say 2 heads are better than one, they both went out of their way to find a solution and they were sucessful. Service is not as easy to find as it once was and we found it that day in Home Depot, thank you from a grateful customer. The employee was Steve Faust.

Home Depot Buyer Beware: My Nightmare Experience with Home Depot and Precision Countertops

My experience with Home Depot was not a pleasant one. My business ordered a countertop from Sherwood Home Depot, which they sub-contracted with Precision Countertops. We requested they visit the job site to ensure they could produce the counters to specification. We specifically requested "No Seams" in the laminate counters, as the 30 year old original counters did not have seams. However, we were told by Sherwood Home Depot that a non-refundable fee of $200 was required to visit the job site for a 5 minute visit! So, not wanting to throw away $200, we sent photographs and dimensional drawings to both Sherwood Home Depot and Precision Countertops.

After more than a week, we were told that the only way to get an answer was to pay for the entire job up front and Precision would then send out a "templater" who would tell us if it could be done without seams. I asked what the process was if they decided it would require seams and we wanted to cancel the job. I was told they would issue a full refund. Since the rental home belonged to a Home Depot Manager, we assumed it would get a higher level of attention. Reluctantly, we paid the nearly $2,000 up front. Within 24 hours, the funds were removed from our business account.

Almost immediately, I received a forwarded email from Sherwood Home Depot, in which Precision stated they could not produce the counters without seams! Even though the original counters did not have seams! We immediately requested a full refund and were told it would "take 7-10 days to process... maybe longer because of COVID." They removed the funds electronically within 24 hours and it's been 21 days, as of today, and not a word about our money. They refuse to respond to our emails. They transferred me to the store manager, who then hangs up without speaking to me.

We called the Corporate Customer Service number and, after nearly 30 minutes, were told they would get back to me within 3 days! In the interim, we filed a dispute with our bank, who is working on a fraud case. They will replace the funds and then go after Sherwood Home Depot for full restitution. We have full receipts, emails, bank statements, etc. Neither company has a leg to stand on!

So, if you are considering ordering counters from Precision Counters and/or Sherwood Home Depot (or ANY Home Depot for that matter) think long and hard about it. If they will treat a business working on a Manager's rental property this way, how will they treat you? BUYER BEWARE!

UPDATE 2/22/22

My bank just informed me that Federal Regulations prevent them from completing a Dispute for any transaction that was not completed with a Credit/Debit Card. Sherwood Home Depot refused to take the business card and insisted on a company check, which they immediately processed electronically and stapled to the invoice. Now I know why! They know that banks are hamstrung on Disputes when they insist on company or personal checks. This allows them to do whatever they want to do when it comes to issuing refunds.

I received a voice mail from Sherwood Home Depot, stating they had mailed the refund... to an address on the far side of the city, on the edge of the Urban Growth Boundary and about as far away from our address as you can get and still be in the city! Now they need to wait to see if their check clears and prove that we didn't get it or cash it! We have emails where we told them from the very beginning, that the address they were using was incorrect and even had them correct it AGAIN at the desk of the associate doing the order... and they still "allegedly" mailed it to the wrong address! The level of incompetency or outright dishonesty is mind-boggling! So, now it has to go the legal route.

Be warned: NEVER, NEVER, NEVER do business with Home Depot and if you do... ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS use a Debit/Credit Card... no matter how hard they insist on a check!

Home Depot Home Depot's Poor Customer Service: My Frustrating Experience with a Faulty Dishwasher

I recently had an experience with Home Depot that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had purchased a Samsung dishwasher from their website and scheduled an installation for a few days later. However, after the installation, the dishwasher stopped working and error lights came on. I called Home Depot and they agreed to send another one out and reschedule another delivery. The installation team came out, removed the old dishwasher and installed a new one, but the same thing happened again.

I went to the Home Depot and spoke to someone in the appliance department who assured me they would take care of the problem by sending someone out to our home to fix it. However, when the same installer came out, he told me it was installed properly and that I would have to contact Home Depot. I was frustrated at all the hoops I had to jump through to get a dishwasher that worked.

I went back to the Home Depot and told them that I no longer wanted a Samsung dishwasher, that I wanted a different model instead. However, I was told that I would have to schedule another appointment at my house to return the dishwasher and then purchase another dishwasher to be delivered on yet another date. I didn't think it was fair that I should have to take off 2 more times from work to end up with a working dishwasher.

I spoke to Tina the manager and suggested that they could deliver a new dishwasher and remove the non-working dishwasher at the same time. However, I was told that giving me a refund and allowing me to pay the difference was against Home Depot's policy. I had to purchase another dishwasher, a floor model Bosch dishwasher, and was assured it would be scheduled for delivery as soon as we got back from vacation.

However, upon my return from vacation, I was told by Tina the General Manager that Home Depot doesn't deliver floor models. I was beyond angry at this point and asked for a refund. Tina took special care to make sure that every hose, nut, and bolt was accounted for, but she never once apologized for the inconvenience.

I own 2 businesses and value making my customers happy. Over the course of 3 weeks, I made at least 6 trips to the store and had at least as many phone calls. Each time Home Depot had the opportunity to solve my problem and they chose not to, citing policy after policy. I just wanted a working dishwasher, delivered and installed just like I paid for twice. I didn't ask for anything for free. I just wanted a dishwasher.

If Tina the General Manager of Home Depot cared half as much about how I was affected during this process, rather than how Home Depot would be affected, they would still have a customer. I will never be back.

Home Depot Home Depot does not value my time or me as a customer

It is not the actual product but the service I recieved from Home Depot. I needed a new fridge for a second home in the Mountains of NC. So I went to Home Depot in Hendersonville. For the item I wanted to purchase and spent 20 mins looking for someone to sell it to me - before the sales person wrote up the item he asked me if I wanted it delievered, I told him that I did and he asked if there could be any obstacles to delievery, and I told him that the drive way is someonewhat steep. He said it could not go to a house with a steep driveway and would not sell me the refridgerator. Remeber this is Home Depot in Hendersonville, NC - where all drieways roads etc. are steep! I leave the store anc called online sales and the lady I talked to checked the area told me there were no restrictions for delievery and I purchased the item on line and scheduled it to be delievered on Friday, which was great since I had taken three days off work to go to the mountains to get this and some other projects done. I live over 2 hours from this house.

The following day I recieved an email to inform me that my online order had been canceled. When I called to find out why I was informed it was because the delievery zip code and billing zip code were not the same. The person on the phone helped me place a new order for item, but at that point all the delievery time slots for that week were gone and the soonest that I could get delievery was the following tuesday. I had to take another day from work and drive about 5 house meet the new delievery date.

When the refridgerator finally did arrive (incidentally the home depot truck had no issue getting up the driveway) - the guys got the old fridge out of the house and the new one into the dining room - and informed me that it would not go through the kitchen door. I had measured carefully using the specification on the home depot website and knew the opening of the door to be 29.5" and the refrigerator with the doors removed was 28.5". The two delievery guys told me that if they did take the doors off it still what no go through the doors and they REFUSED to try taking the doors off and left. I should at that point have called and had them pick up the fridge, but they had the old one with them.

I had to go buy some tools and was able to remove the doors my self and was able to push the refridgerator through the doorway myself. At this point I called customer care and they were going to call the delievery guys and see if they would come back and finish moving the fridge into place and hooking up the ice maker. He assured me someone would call me back - they never did. I had to hire someone to help me move the refridgerator into place my self - but the icemaker and water dispenser are still not hooked up - I guess I will have to hire someone to come do that.

I called and talked to someone in online purchases the next day about my experience, they were going to do some research and get back with me - so i called again, had to explain this long story again and was told they needed to transfer me to another department, I was transefered to a lady and had to relay the story yet again. When she told me that it was out of her hands that she needed to transfer me to yet another person - i lost it, The situation has cost me so many hours - and time is the one thing I do not have extra of.

My last attempt to give Home Depot once last chance to make this situation better was
I call the consumer relations department and talked to Terry Before going into detail I told him I was very unhappy with Home
Depots servace related to a purchase and was he the best person for me to explain the situation and see if he somehow could try and make ammends. He told me he was the best person to take care of and proceeded to tell me how much Home Depot values my business.
After explaining my story - he asked me what I wanted in terms on a refund. I told him that I would prefer for them to give me an offer rather than me come across as trying to get something for free. He told me he would have to meet with his "team" and would get back to me no later than monday June 6th. I did not here from him until today June 14th (over a week later) and he has offered me a $50 home depot gift card. I told him that let me see exactly the extent of how much Home Depots Values my business. I have shopped there exclusively for years (as well as Home Decorators) and have used them for a complete kitchen makeover, appliances, garden equiptment, lumber and building material, installations and even a new roof. $50 doesnt even cover the money I had to pay someone to help get the fridge in, tools i had to buy to take doors off myself, the amount of gas i spent having to have made a 2nd ( and still have to make a 3rd trip back up there to get this working) not to mention the time away from work, etc etc etc/

I see exactly how much Home Depot Values their customers. I will pay off my Home Depot Card and never use it again. I wll not ever buy from Home Depot again or for that matter enter one of their stores.

This would appear to be nothing more than a copy and past complaint whereas the dates were, at best, for last June.

We want to always make a customer happy but there are concerns when delivering to any home. Driveways can be a concern, removing doors, moving items through doorways with less than acceptable space, all of which can create safety hazards or damage to the home.

In this case there were many issues which you admittedly refused to accept. Thankfully, the driveway was something that could ultimately be navigated and the doorway gotten through.

It's extremely rare when it happens but when a customer does not want to accept what is trying to be done and the efforts being made by a retailer, it is sometimes better for the customer to shop elsewhere.

Home Depot Broadloom warranty

We bought Broadloom at the Home Depot in Palm Coast on 3/13/22. PO#3514507 We were told we had a 10 year warranty against discoloring etc. we paid for a quality product with a first class pad underneath. There is discoloration in the entryway to two bedrooms. We have had the broadloom professionally cleaned to no avail. We have no children and this discoloration is not a result of our carelessness.

We went to the Home depot store # 6363 and spoke to a person in the flooring dept. She said she could not help us and that Tamara at ext 413 is the person who handles these issues. We called Tamara two weeks ago and she never answers the phone. However, we were able to leave messages. She has never returned our messages.

We want someone to look at our broadloom complaint and advise.

On February 13, 2024 I made an online purchase from www.homedepot.com for pick up. I remembered that I had forgotten a couple of items. I proceeded to the customer service desk to pick up my items and purchase the 2 items. Home Depot Appliance delivery

Home Depot does not stand by their delivery contractors. My refrigerator was delivered damaged unbeknownst to me. Was placed by delivery people in our garage unwrapped because we were not ready to have in the house due to ongoing kitchen renovation. When we were ready to install appliances 2 months later the fridge ice maker was damaged. Manufacturer states not a covered warranty item and Home Depot says “tough luck, not our problem. “

We're extremely sorry to hear of your frustration.

By contract, The Home Depot can only accept appliances back if the damage is reported within 48 hours. Unfortunately, as you've stated, there's simply too much that is "unbeknownst." We're sure you can understand, there's no way to determine where or when the damage occurred.

Contact the manufacturer, Samsung, on their customer service number at / 800 / 726 / 7864. They should be able in assisting getting the necessary parts repaired -- whereas it's physical damage, it's not covered under warranty, but it's still something that might be serviceable.

Please let us know if that doesn't cover your concerns.

Home Depot Returned to shipper orders without my knowledge and no refund received.

I have over 100 orders that were placed on October 26, 2023 that were sent back to shipper without letting me know and they did not issue me any refund. When I reached out to them a few weeks later they simply said they would submit the complaint to corporate security but even until now, two weeks later, I still have not heard from them. I want my refunds.

The following were the items I ordered (over 100 orders for each)

1. DEWALT20V MAX XR Cordless Brushless Compact Router, (1) 20V 6.0Ah and (1) 20V 4.0Ah Batteries, and Charger

2. MILWAUKEEM18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Inflator with Two 5.0ah and Charger

Home Depot Your delivery policy

I am 80 years old. I went to your store in Wappingers Falls, NY to purchase a new sink that had a cabinet. I found what I liked and went to complete the purchase. I asked if it would be delivered and if they would bring it into my home. I was told that the item would be delivered to my front door but then I had to get it into my house. I purchased a washer dryer set with depiction of what IT placed online with the washer. Fast forward to current status…. The product listed was not delivered. Home Depot Scam

On November 14 - 16,2023 I was contacted by a person who told me that there was activity on my account and that the people using it were spending it on sex trafficking and pornography. I could lose my social security number if I don;t comply. I was to take cash (in total $28,000) and buy gift cards from your store. I did so in $2000 cards.They said they were watching me. They made me fearful about what was going to happen to me. I reported the card numbers to the person on the phone with the pin numbers. I began to realize this was a scam but I was scared about what they would do.

I took cash from two other Fifth Third Banks $10,000 and another $10,000. I bought cards from Home Depots in the area. I have all the cards and receipts. I am hoping that you will assist me in getting some of this money back through your insurance or through checking if the cards have been used. I filed apolice report JG518914

Please help me.

on October 11 2023 I bough a dish washer SAMSUNG DW80J3020US

1.- the dishwasher was supposed to be delivered 0n October 19 but it was delated for around one week later?

2.- the dishwasher malfunction after one month of use, I took a long time for a technician to come to my home, and in his opinion there was nothing wrong but the problem continue the technician came back and try to tell me again there was nothing wrong with the machine so I insisted so he is supposed to get the part to be replaced? We're sorry to hear of your frustration.

Unfortunately The Home Depot has contracts with most appliance manufacturers to not accept returns or exchanges after 48 hours. Whereas you've had the dishwasher for an entire month, that becomes impossible.

We're not sure what parts are being replaced where you've stated that there was no problem found. Contact Samsung at /800 /726 /7864. Be aware that Samsung dishwashers are based upon a European design. As a result, the unit does not behave in the same fashion as a U.S. designed dishwasher.
