Hair Cuttery Broken appoint

This is about lockwood commons, bradenton fl.

My daughter wanted color with highlights, walked on on 2-18th but busy so made appointment on 2-25 at 2pm. Got home got email but it was malehair cutter, she prefers female so-called on 18th, asking to switch to a girl. Patric assured that it would be with rachel,25th 2pm. Few days before 26th, got txt to confirm appoint so I confirmed. We showed up then stupid black hair lady didn’t listen that we had appoint. But after we explained we had app, she said rachel didn’t have time for us, and of course this black hair lady couldn’t handle color. I showed her txt&comdormatipn email but all she said was re schedule other day. What’s the [censored] with this place?!

I also used this location few years ago but every time I made appointment it wasn’t respected. Mine was just cut and single color so I just waited but stopped going for awhile. But now my daughter needed salon I triecbutmevergobavk. Good thing they are in small town not mucuconoetitjpn.

Hair Cuttery A must sign disclosure or not have your hair done

ON 1/29/24 I went for my appointment at Hair Cutter, Gambrills Md and was given this /attached disclosure to sign or not have my hair done. Jen, asst mgr/ who has done my hair for 7 years, gave me this disclose and said,

"This is for people who do not follow instructions and damage their hair." I told Jen that "that is not what the disclosure states, this say that" Hair Cuttery is not responsible for any damage/liability at all.

This is unacceptable and told Jen so, Jen stated "if you do not sign the paper, I/we will not do your hair." unacceptable, not taking responsibility for your work,?

Hair Cuttery Color

I had a color service with Amanda at the Gurnee location on 11/26/2023. Prior to appointment I sent photos and explained what I wanted. When I arrived she stated she didn’t receive them so we went over the photos yet again and explained exactly what I wanted and she was confident that it could be done and proceeded to start with the color. After color was done and she washed out and then started drying the color was no where close to what I wanted at that point she began to say well I needed more time to do this, well you should have said that at the beginning and I would of been more then happy to reschedule, she stated I can have you come back and I can fix ok I scheduled to come back and due to a medical emergency I was not able to make it in and she proceeded to call me and at she could not see me as a client anymore because I didn’t show up to my appointment I was in the ER. So I expect a full refund as the color was not what I wanted and she washed her hands from fixing it

Hair Cuttery - Hair cut

I scheduled an appointment for 5pm September 13th at the Lebanon, PA store. I had the unpleasant experience to get Evelyn as my stylist. From the beginning she was rude. Asked me if I "really " needed my hair washed since I was the last customer and she wasn't feeling it. But charged me for it. She then numerous times tried saying that I had lice! I do not!...

Hair Cuttery No customer service

I went into the Portage,Indiana store. I waited for a customer that was paying. She left and the employee walked away. I sat in the chair for ten minutes waiting to even be acknowledged. All I had was a question about coloring due to my hair is balding. Already depressed enough about that. I was then going to make an appointment with Jessica. There were two customers, no one waiting, and two women looked at me and continued talking. I’ve never been so upset. They just lost a $200 sale. I hope I can speak to a higher up.

Desired outcome: Speak to someone high up to understand this.

Hair Cuttery Discrimination against disabled persons

On May 29th the woman I now take care of (Elizabeth) went and got her hair done the stylist Sarah was was running behind and when she finally worked on the Elizabeth's hair she rushed through everything didn't shampoo or deep condition her which Elizabeth paid for on top of that she wasn't able to use her $3off a product coupon. Elizabeth is a regular customer at this location in Gurnee and has been getting her hair done there for years.

Elizabeth went back on August 4th for a touch up on her hair and informed cory the manager at this location and he said there is nothing they could do since its past the normal 30 days ans he wasn't informed sooner... the most he could do is speak to the stylist Sarah

Elizabeth is disabled with cognitive issues and needs care givers at the time of the incident she didn't have a full time care giver which ended her in the hospital for a week or so there for leaving her unable to report the incident in a timely manner.

Given that Elizabeth is disabled and explained why she couldn't inform Hair Cuttery sooner it is cruel and not to mention illegal to not make accommodations on her behalf.

"34 - Title II Regulations 28 CFR Part 35 Department of Justice

(7) A public entity shall make reasonable modifications in policies, practices, or procedures when the modifications are necessary to avoid discrimination on the basis of disability, unless the public entity can demonstrate that making the modifications would fundamentally alter the nature of the service, program, or activity."

There is no reason with the information given and the fact that Elizabeth is a regular customer there that accommodations can't be made.

Customers should come first and this has made her feel defeated and discriminated against because it's not her fault she has disabilities that made it so she couldn't contact HC sooner. I'm sure negative google reviews and losing a long time customer won't look to good.

Desired outcome: A credit or % applied to her account or a gift card she can use towards her next service

Hair Cuttery Hair color and product

I went to 141 Wilson avenue Hanover pa 17331 on 8/6. I booked an appointment online for partial foils and whatever came with it. it was for $61.00. After I got there I told her what I needed done. I did not sign the book for a new price so I assumed what I was getting done was around the same price, she told me that the Cibu liter shampoo was on sale for 2 for $48.00 and it was a good price because regularly they were $40 some apiece. Not only that parts of my hair are orange and she said it is because I had dark on there, but that should also have been told to me that it would not come out or get blonde until it is lightened, I gave her my card to pay because in my head I'm thinking it would be a little over or close to 125 with 20 percent tip. she comes back with my card and receipt, and it is $450.61. I was floored and she said she couldn't reverse it and she assumed I knew the price when how would I. I was just going off the online price and she never said that the price had changed. I want a refund. I needed that money to pay my bills and I wouldn't have given her a $75.00 tip first off. This is the 2nd time this has happened but different stores. I want a refund. My name is Melissa Schaeffer I am in the system. My phone number is [protected]. My email is [protected]@gmail.com.

Desired outcome: I want my money back this is ridiculous, this is the 2nd time something like this has happened, just different stores. I let it go the first time but not this time. I probably will bounce checks because of this.

Hair Cuttery Haircut in May, 2023 and have been dealing with Robert Davis since and still no resolution.

My two daughters and I have been going to HC since they opened and my girls were very young. I went in May, 2023 to the location at Grant and the Boulevard on Philadelphia to get my daughters hair cut. I had a 30% coupon but they only honored the 10% coupon for a senior citizen. My daughter is not a senior. I have been going back and forth with HC and still no remedy. I was just told the other day that they issued a $12 credit to the wrong account and not they’re trying to get that credit back so they can credit the right account. Three months later and it’s still not resolved. Please help to expedite this matter.

Desired outcome: I would like to receive the additional 20% credited to my account as promised since May.

Hair Cuttery Damaged hair cut, high charges unknown

Hi, I am reporting that I was scammed for haircut and my hair was destroyed during my first visit to hair cuttery. I walked in for hair cut. I clearly told Stylists(s):SHELLETTE that it was my first time at hair cattery and I was there for cut and blow dry. She was on the phone while she gave me haircut. I have never had such an ugly experience in my life. She chopped half off my hair off even after I told her she was cutting too much. I had long hair now it is up to my shoulder in 4 ugly step chunks. stylist said flat iron can give my hair silky look and would you like that. I said sure. and the way she flat iron my hair I do better job then her myself. When I was ready to pay my bill was over a hundred dollars when I checked online cut and blow-dry was for $40.00. During my visit price was not mentioned not even once by the stylist. I have been super upset since my visit to hair cuttery. My hair won't grow overnight or can't be fixed.

Desired outcome: I would like to be refunded for this un pleasant, un professional service.I can't style or do anything with this ugly hair cut. can't even tie my uneven hair.

Hair Cuttery Hair color/manager

I went today (6/23/23) for single color, partial highlights and a cut.My preferred stylist was unavailable so I did elect to take any stylist. The stylist was pleasant, I told her what I wanted.Moving forward the highlight were done first which was right at 1.5 hours. Then she wanted to dry my hair do the single color. I was confused as I have never had color approached in this manner. I ask several times if this was going to work. At this point I felt uncomfortable moving forward with any further processes and told her we were going to stop with just highlights that were to be blonde. Which she offered me to speak with manager. I did not need to my decision was made. The manager came anyway and just stated everyone does color differently. I again stated I was unsure of what she was doing and preferred to stop.Toner was added as I believed was the process for blonde highlights. Upon payment I felt I was charged extra as retailiation for stopping process.$61 for highlights when is stated in pricing and $30 for toner.I have never been charged for toner as I understood this to be how you reached the color of highlight requested. This was added per manager and not disclosed by manager, stylist or your pricing board. I will follow up with a BBB complaint and public review. My complaint is the charge and no disclosure of charge.

Desired outcome: Refund $30

Hair Cuttery Fried and fuzzy hair

So I went to one of your locations at Ridge Road and Broad St in Griffith Indiana on May 5th. I just went for a haircut and got pushed into getting highlights. The girl asked me if I want them to be silent, talk or scream. I told her talk. Well let's just say everything went wrong. First it took over 3 hours. She left the toner in my hair for over 30 minutes while she ate popcorn. I couldn't go get her because I'm in a wheelchair and my head was in the tub. Also my neck hurts for 5 days. After she cut my hair shorter than I wanted and put so much stuff in my hair that I didn't notice the damage. My highlights are hardly noticeable. I spent 146.00 on this mess that now knots when I wash it. I can't get a comb through it. I tipped her 40.00 and am so upset. Getting ready to contact the bbb. I want compinsation for this mess. For 3 days the manager from that shop contacted me to come in for her to fix it. Do you really think I'm going to let someone from there touch my hair again. My hair used to be long and healthy. I'm also putting one before picture

Desired outcome: Money refunded and compinsation for it

Hair Cuttery Appointment deleted

I previously scheduled my appointment for 5/7at 2pm. I got this email confirmation on 5/5: We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, May 07, 2023 for your 2:00 PM appointment at Horsham Point Shopping Center. You've booked the following services:

Full Balayage (COURTNEY)

Horsham Point Shopping Center

314 HORSHAM RD STE H

HORSHAM, Pennsylvania, 19044

[protected]. However, when I arrived the stylist said there was no appointment in her calendar. She still took me but I had to wait an hour extra to see her. The stylist was very upset because it messed her hours and

Schedule. She told me this had happened repeatedly to her and she is being double booked. Please look into your scheduling system since this is the second time this happened to me at this salon with this stylus.

It makes me very unhappy to got to a scheduled appointment and to be told they are not available and I’m not in the calendar. Especially when I am a loyal regular customer whom pays on average $250 every 3 month or more.

Sincerely

Hair Cuttery Low lights pulled through cap

On Sunday, April 30, I made an appointment with Hair Cuttery in College Park Florida. My appointment was for a low lights, pulled through a cap. I ask do you have someone that's experience with pulling hair through a cap. I was told yes, Lisa can. I arrived at my appointment. Lisa and I discussed what I wanted. She mentioned it would be a little bit darker than what I have. I said okay as long it blends in with the rest of my highlights. Lisa said, "just trust me". I told her to pull more hair on the top right where I had more visible grey and on the right side of my ear. When Lisa started pulling my hair through the cap, she was scraping my scalp, that was painful. I proceed to ask Lisa when was the last time she pulled hair through a cap, she said, about 5 years ago. Then she said, I have to get used to doing it again. I knew at this time I was in trouble. I had to tell her (Lisa) she missed the left side completed pulling my hair through the cap. I mentioned to Lisa again, I do not want my hair dark. Again, she said I need to trust her. Again, I said I want it to blend in with what I currently have. So, she applied the low lights. I said that looks dark, Lisa said it will lighten up when you wash it. After Lisa applied the color, I sat for a while. She did not come and check to see how the color was processing until my time to pull the cap off. My hair was very dark. She pulled my hair through the cap very heavy hair strands. I'm not sure why she did that. I did not request that. Usually, the hair is thin hair strand pulled through the cap. My hair looks nothing like what I wanted. Very dissatisfied and will not be going back. I'm not a happy customer.

Desired outcome: My money pack - not a good experience.

Hair Cuttery Service

Walked in yesterday, Saturday April 29th to the Crest Hill location at 2pm and was told they had no openings and to schedule an appt. Went online and scheduled a cut for sunday april 30th and when I went in I wanted to add a service to throw some dark low lights in and was told no they didn’t have time. Now i’m pissed two [censored]ing days in a row being on crutches with a knee repair and ankle surgery and trying to get my hair done and can’t even get customer service?! Where the hell is the customer comes first responsibly? Walk in welcomes? That’s a load of crap and i’m going to tell anyone I know not to bother going to that establishment because it’s a joke and very unprofessional s as it’s not backing up their advertising for walk ins welcome…. Not to mention turning derives down 2 days in a row for someone who is disabled… talk about discrimination and i’m turning you into bbb as well. Boycotting hair cuttery and going on all social media platforms and telling everybody this experience! Such a joke and waste of time!

Desired outcome: Don’t discriminate against disabled and follow through with what you advertise in your store windows walk ins welcome. People have busy lives and lucky they consider going to the bottom feeder salons.

Hair Cuttery Coloring completely wrong i'm in physical pain and i'm pissed!!

What I actually got was 4.5 Hours of torture from my hair being over processed and pulled on to the point of a migraine headache and finally walking out before it was even dried. My appoinment started at 2:00 and i finally had enough my hair pulled by Mandy I left at 6:25. Not only did I not get the colors I asked for I ended up with silver and purple! I'm not a teenager when i say what I want done I expect to have that process and only that process to be done. I asked to have 1/2 Inch trimmed off and i lost almost 4 inches of my hair! She charged me $141.00 and i couldn't take her torture anymore so left before it completely dried. I came and rinsed my hair to dry it my way and when i towel dried it the brown she added to my hair came out onto a white towel, I sat in the torture chair 4.5 with a fractured lumbar. Not only has she ruined my hair and wasted my whole day and took my money for it full well knowing i was not even a little bit happy with it. I expect a FULL REFUND and paid for my wasted time at 24.00 /hour ( thats what i make an hour) and repayment for pain and suffering for 4.5 hours! And thats not including the extra 4 inches of hair she cut off without permission. Besides the 200.00 I paid to have it stripped down and brittle breaking hair I had to pay elsewhere to have it fixed in color. And she knew full well this color sheme I chose was for a special event this weekend I expect to have a response to this by 4/13/2023 I will be contacting an attorney and it will cost alot more then the damages I'm asking for here.

Hair Cuttery Service

I went to my appointment that I had with Kimberlee on 3/18 at 1PM. This should have been a seamless transaction and not take too overly long as we've done before. I have 0 issues with Kimberlee. The problem that happened at the salon was this. #1 There was a major lack of management on duty that allowed the chaotic scene that happened to transpire that day. #2 Diana who started the entire issue with her gossiping to others in the back room #3 the "Karen" Ashley that had the audacity to tell me to stop talking to my stylist or converse with my stylist was extremely rude, judgemental behavior and had the audacity to question me where I worked due to my topic of conversation I was having with Kimberlee. I had 0 knowledge of what was going on prior to my arrival, I do not typically chit chat w/ Kimberlee outside of work. The only reason for me to text her is to set up appointments because I have spoken to others before to set it up and they've messed it up before. SO I prefer to text her directly and let her know when I am coming in. I followed her from a prior salon and will take my business with her wherever she is. Unbeknownst to me I had 0 clue to any drama behind the scenes or issues between the people working there. My topic of conversation was about work drama that I myself was personally and have personally experienced in the present and past. Me and Kim kind of flow that way. She is kind of my person to go to .. to just let loose and relax and get my hair done. I noticed Diana was going back and forth from the person she was tending to ..to a back room they have which is not far off from Kim's station. I can hear clearly how she would say stuff like " I can't take this anymore" and she would mutter things under her breath and give death glares our way. I figure this lady is just having a bad day. Not that she was reacting to MY conversation which she took out of context apparently and made it about herself. After about the 2nd or 3rd time she went to the back I presume to complain or gossip to other women back there who I have no clue who they are as I do not associate with anyone in that salon other than Kimberlee, Ashley came to Kim's station and said "You guys need to stop!" ... I half turned like "What?" She was like "You need to stop your conversation now!" in a demanding rude demeanor I said who are you" she then comes around to my face and leans over "I'm Ashley'' I said well Ashley I have no clue what you are talking about I am talking about my job... this is where she scoffs and like if I was lying said Where do you work? I said that's none of your business! She goes and I see her take the portable phone to go to the back, which she ends up calling a regional mgr by the name of Debbie. Debbie has 0 clue what is transpiring and the lack of manager on duty who I find there was one Tara who didn't do anything or take these ladies aside to squash whatever issue they had to the back because the salon had a few clients and children too. At this point I am getting furious by this entire thing because I have 0 clue as to what is going on, why these two women Diana and Ashley are verbally attacking and threatening me with mean glares. But I didn't appreciate it. I have never in my life been involved in such a drama like this. And I feel horrible for Kimberlee. You can see she is the youngest of the group. I am 50. These other two ladies are old enough to damn well know how to act better in public. I would have expected an outburst like this from a younger person but these ladies are super grown and should be ashamed of themselves for acting this way. I am a paying customer and for you to involve me in your personal issues is way uncalled for. If the cameras I see in the ceiling work please have someone pull the video tape. You can actively see Diana going back and forth then Ashley coming at me, and Diana again coming up to me and even pauses to the left of me and gives me threatening glares. Which I went off on her about because I am not gonna sit there and let you intimidate me as a customer when I did 0 of anything to you personally. I am flabbergasted that this entire ___ show happened and yes when Diana threatened me when she came up to me she blew up because I told her about herself and told her off in spanish because there were children there and I didn't want them to catch what I was saying. I speak very fluently and understand very fluently Spanish. I do not know what this Diana lady is on or about but she has the wrong person and involved me into unnecessary drama that had 0 to do with me. I want a call for action against both Diana and Ashley, I also want Tara held accountable for 0 action on her part as a manager and I have managerial experience that would have not been tolerated not for one second. I would have pulled them all aside in the back. She didn't do anything. Only time she said something to me was when Diana was upset because I was telling her off after she threatened me and came into my zone/area with her death looks. When Tara came up and asked what was going on, I said tell your people to leave me the ___ alone and stop looking at me like I did something...I'm not gonna stay quiet. She didn't say anything. No I am sorry this has happened, No apology not ONCE from her. Debbie I spoke to at one point in this because apparently she didn't want to hear or believe Kimberlee and I got the phone passed to me, she didn't even at first introduce herself, I had to ask who she was. She apologized a couple times but it was fleeting like whatever demeanor. Again I am a paying customer what kind of store is being driven here. And why does one the regional manager send Kimberlee home but not the other ladies that disrespected me, the paying customer. That took the cake. That is why I am writing. If you are going to punish one, punish them all in my book. I do not care. But singling out Kimberlee who didn't even start the drama is beyond me. My spouse is a frequent customer there and we always go to Kimberlee. I also have brought clients to her as well, and where she goes we go. I do not care for these issues, I do care about people respecting others, I do care about professionalism, I do care about being kind to one another. I have never once disrespected anyone in that salon, treated anyone differently, I go in get my hair done and I am out. I cannot fathom how Kimberlee feels. I just know that the entire thing could've been avoided by proper managerial responsibility. By pulling aside the ones that started the issue which was Diana and Ashley...and bring them all together and squash whatever issues they have. It is 2am on Monday that I am writing this, 2 plus days later this is how much this entire incident bothered me. I have left reviews. They have yet to accept or comment on my google review. They don’t want to address that situation apparently. Seems they want to sweep things under the rug. I do expect action taken from the regional manager and down. I do hope this is taken seriously and if I need to be contacted you are more than welcome to contact me. I also know there are cameras there when I am getting shampooed. I see them on the ceiling. If those work you can visibly see the entire transaction. I was there from 1pm to 4:30pm. I commend Kimberlee for keeping her professional demeanor with other clients that she assisted along the way while I was processing even through all the drama of what went on she still kept herself together and did her job. And I was very pleased with the outcome of my hair. She has always been A1 with her service, her professionalism, her demeanor and kindness. Those other ladies could learn something or two from her.

Best regards,

Rafaela Serret-Gonzalez

Desired outcome: Diana definitively fired, Ashley reprimanded/fired, Tara written up for poor management as well as regional manager Debbie.

Hair Cuttery Hair lift and tone

Hello,

I have already sent in a complaint and never heard a word. I had my hair lifted and toned at hair cutlery 1331 NW Saint Lucie West Blvd Port St Lucie, FL ON 3.11.23. The assistant manager was the stylist, when she finished, she said there would be purple in my hair because my hair was yellow, she said she used a toner but I didn’t realize there was purple staining in the toner?, however, I said ok because she said it would wash it. When I got home, not only was there purple, there was yellow. I am a wedding planner and officiant and have a wedding to do this weekend. I went back and as I entered, she knew it was not right because she said, I was going to call you to tell you, if its still yellow to come back. Well, yes, there is yellow, so, she lifted it again, I get home and still have yellow, I am not going back and I have tried to use purple shampoo to see if it would tone it down and that has not worked either. I am going to go somewhere to get this repaired before the wedding. I am requesting 110.00 refund asap please, as this was clearly the stylist negligence. If you refuse, I will take it further as I need this money now to go fix it and I do have pictures that was taken at another salon of the mistakes.

Thank you

Lisa Carniello

Hair Cuttery Cut and color

Wrong haircut and wrong color the consult she gave me was everything opposite of what I received today. I won't be back. My hair was supposed to be a violet brunette, it is a bright red/orange!... Just don't go here. Never offered to correct to the correct color. Usually I give like a $30 tip, I only tipped $5 because there was not even an apology, just kept on defending herself. Unbelievable! Orange Red! She was not even paying attention to the haircut, every person who worked there kept distracting her, I don't even think she looked at my hair 5 minutes while she was cutting it. She says she has been there 20 years. Unbelievable! Layers are scattered and very uneven... My hair looks like a big mistake. I politely communicated my disappointment, politely, but very directly. She didn't care, so I didn't care about the tip.

Desired outcome: Picture No. 1 is what I ended up with.Picture No. 2 is what she promised me.
