Great Clips Hair and beard cut March 21, 2024

my husband had his hair and beard cut at the great clips on 03/21/2024 by Alexis on University Drive in Burlington, N.C. went back to show picture of his neck being cut and bleeding when he left the salon. we have been going to this salon for years and this has never happened. we went to complain to the manager and found out Alexis was the manager, and she was not there. found out they were sending her to Kernersville, N.C. she should not be doing this type of work if she is going to cut the customer's neck. i would like a refund.. we signed up on line. my email is: [protected]@yahoo.com. home phone number is [protected]. thank you for your help with this issue. i want to get my hair cut from there and i am scared i will get injured. my name is: Linda Brown

this date should be March 14, 2024, and i talked to the girls at this salon on March 21, 2024. my husband's hair and beard cut were on March 14, 2024, by the manager Alexis. had his throat and neck bleeding. thanks

Great Clips Hair cut and beard trim

my husband went to great clips in Burlington, North Carolina today 3/14/2024. we always go to this one on University Dr. in Burlington N.C. he had a new girl doing his hair and beard today and her name is Alexis and his neck got cuts on it and burns on the back of his neck. I had to use Neosporin on them. I think her clippers need to be replaced. I have pictures of these. someone needs to tell her to get better clippers. thank you for your attention to this issue so no one else get cuts and burns. if you cannot take care of this because of location, can you get with someone that can? thanks — my email is:[protected]@yahoo.com and phone number is: [protected].

Great Clips Hair cut

I have been coming to Great clips for about 6 months and each time that I get my hair cut I'm asked if its ok and for the most part Its ok. I try not to be too picky but when they are done, I get a quick brush off and I'm ushered to the register. I can live with this but maybe you should tell your employees that just cutting the hair is not enough they need to do a better job getting the remaining hair off my collar and neck, I don't need to leave and go home or wherever and continue to brush hair from my neck. I don't know how serious you take this, but we will see.

Desired outcome: I would like to go to any location and not have hair remaining on my neck..

Great Clips Online check in and staff

If you offer an online service one would think that it is available when the location is open. When I walked in at 1008 am after they had been open for 8mins the women asked me if I had checked in online I responded with well I tired but it’s not available she said “ well it doesn’t let you until we have been open for ten minutes “, why would you ask then? As I sit listening they ask everyone if they have checked in online and when they haven’t they let them know it’s an hour wait so they should just come back later. Seems to me like they don’t want the business. I would like to also know how I have an hour wait but people are checked in online when it doesn’t let you for ten minutes after they open?

Great Clips Online check in

I did the online check in today. For the Xenia Ohio Great clips. It said my check in was at 4:15. I ended up getting there at 3:55, at 4:10 it said it was my time. I waited for my name to be called. A lady walked In and just walked up to a seat and sat down. They ended up calling 3 names by 4:45 none of them mine, so I left. This is the 3rd time this has happened. What is the point of online check in if they can't keep close to your time.

Claimed loss: Lost time away from my job and hours pay

Desired outcome: I would like them to be more responsible for people's time. Keep the appointment time, or pay more attention to who's on the list

They don't pay any attention to the online check in waited 45 mins past my time, even tho it said I was next by the 3rd person called I left. People just walk in and sit down w no appointments even tho we booked and was there waiting

Great Clips Customer service

I was In for the haircut today, the lady named Beth ckecked me in, one person was ahead of me, its Tuesday early afternoon, not busy at all. I didn’t check in online and asked her if I should, she said no. There was another stylist (manager Tonya) working on a customer. I wait. Beth was done with her customer and walks away after sweeping her station, didn’t come back for at least 15 minutes, I thought she went to the bathroom, then I thought she was having lunch, I wait. She comes in and starts to take out the trash and organizing things while I am trying to make an eye contact but saying nothing. The manager Is about to be done with her customer and tells the Beth: I will get her (meaning myself) there’s no one else waiting, so when the Beth is done with her customer she calls me over. There’s no small talk or any pleasant exchange, like she just had with previous customer, she is working in total silence, but she introduced herself. She does a good job, I pay plus tip, said thank you and left, but it left a sour taste in my mouth, why Beth has left, then appears and starts cleaning, is this more important than customer who is waiting for about half hour at this point, and it’s very slow, couldn’t she have done it afterwards? Is this because when she was checking me in she noticed my accent? Thought that the foreigners don’t tip? I have no idea, and would like to get some answers. I wouldn’t go to this location in the future, I will go to another couple of miles away.

Desired outcome: I would like to get an answer regarding this experience and non existent customer service

Great Clips Cottonwood Az Great Clips

Hi I live in Cottonwood Az in our neighborhood news feed a women named Karen posted about her bad experience at Great Clips she stated that she had contacted you and you were going to look into the problem I am here to tell you that the few times that I have been there my cuts were bad the last time ( just a few months ago) the manager ( Martha) cut my hair it was so uneven I returned to have it fixed by someone else the manager came out while I was complaining loudly she never came over to me and asked what the problem was or if she could do anything to help this is not the first time Martha has cut my hair she spends more time looking out the window while cutting and has an attitude of I don't give a [censored] I have heard ( I know it's hear say ) that a few operators there had quit because they were treated badly I will never go back to this salon nor will I ever recommend it to anyone the lower price you charge is not worth the crappy cut and the crappy atmosphere than This manager has been her position way to long and has to go thank you [protected]@aol.com

Great Clips Service

Lady was rude doesnt know how to handle situation looked overwhelmed shouldn’t talk to ppl if she cant handle rush service or too many haircuts.. Very rude even when trying to explain what happen or what happened on there end.. Northcrest shopping center fort wayne! Didn’t get my kids haircut we left.. Shes a [censored].. Happen today at 9/17/2023.. Lady wearing green, assuming its manager.. Very uncomfortable never going there again rude as [censored]

Great Clips Hair cut

On Monday September 11 around 5:15 pm I walked into Great Clips at 1305 Knox Abbott Dr, Ste 103, Cayce, SC 29169 · Only 2 girls working.

I was called and went to the chair. I explained that I would like the butterfly cut. She looked at me like I was crazy stating "I never heard of the cut." She then pulled up the cut on her phone. Only to say ok just layers I can do this.

After about 10 minuets of working on the same knot in my hair that I offered to brush out, she grabs the side of my hair and cuts my hair at an angle cut. OK their goes about 5 inches off my hair. I should have gotten up and walked out then.

After that one cut once again back to combing my hair. Never measured the left side to the right side and now my hair is so uneven. I walked into work and one of my coworkers looked at me and said, "Your hair is cut uneven.". My left side is 3 inches longer than the right side.

Yep, I noticed it when I tried to fix my hair that morning.

I stopped back by the great clips on my way home Tuesday to speak with the manager only to find two different people working and no manager on duty. Young black female (very rude) and an older gentleman who needed a stool to sit on and cut hair. I sat down and waited to talk to one of them. The young female working on a female's hair and once again. same procedure. One little knot took 4 minutes to comb out. The stool sitting gentleman just sat and talked with the customer about 5 minutes. I am starting get a little aggravated.

My daughter calls me, and we talk for 15 minutes. Young girl still working on knots and the stool sitting gentleman is still talking.

I get up and walk out because at this time it is almost 6 pm and Great Clips closes at 6 pm. Not HAPPY!

Desired outcome: I paid cash for my haircut and bought a bottle of leave in conditioner Total for cut and conditioner was $31.00 and some change along with an 8-dollar tip. REFUND PLEASE. It can be mailed to 878 East Steele Road West Columbia SC 29170

Great Clips Customer service

Received horrible treatment at Great Clips today. Did an on-line check in for my mom - now with full disclosure my phone selected the Honeygo location and not the Belair Road/Safeway shopping center location and I did not notice. Upon arrival I was advised that mom was not pre-checked and that’s when I learned if the error of my location check in (my mom has been going to the Belair Road location since the store closer to her closed, about two years now). This was the first time the stylist was rude; almost to the point of dismissing me to the other location. No, mom wants to stay here where she is comfortable and used to the surroundings. So at this point I’m guessing she was a walk-in check-in. There were two other people there when we arrived. Those two people were taken, then two others that arrived after we had because, I assume, they had checked-in on line. After about 20 minutes, when they were taking yet a third person who arrived after us, I questioned this process and was informed that ALL on-line checks in were taken priority. This is unacceptable. I understand the process to a certain degree, but we did attempt to on-line check in and the stylist was well aware of that. She then became even more rude and offered no assistance or reasoning as to why my moms name kept getting put to the bottom of the list for service. Again, I take responsibility for selecting the incorrect location. But I find her willful neglect to provide service in s timely manner unconscionable.

Great Clips - Employee terminated after receiving no training

I worked here after the covid pandemic cause they offered a boot camp training class for stylists that was extra training and continued education when you first joined I did not receive that for the first month all I did was watch videos on an iPad and I did a couple of haircuts on a mannequin but I did not feel adequately trained to give men's haircut...

Great Clips Unprofessional work environment.

Dangerous ghetto staff, filled with drama, gossipy and messy.

Unprofessional management team with poor work ethics. Violent staff of young bucks with poor and dangerous work ethics. I wouldn't recommend this place for employment for state licensed professionals. Customers be aware of unethical practices with bad behavior conduct staff, including upper management and owners.

Saturday 07 012023, time: 11a.m.-11:30, was called in the office by an employee for her to ask me a question, in which turned into an ambush of verbal attacks by 2 managers and a mire employee. I felt my life was endangered, because of the managers allowing an employee to get in my face with verbal attacks, as well as the managers did the same, as well as their voices raised loudly for customers to hear, to the point of 1 customer asking a male stylist what was going on. That male stylist committed deformation against me giving false statements against me.

Because, I was being endangered, I told 1 of the managers that I was leaving because they were making the workplace environment a hostile. The employee that was being verbally abusive, yelled out let her go. I couldn't believe my work environment experience by state licensed professionals. As I left out the back door, so, the customers didn't have to see or witness the hostile situation, the same employee that was verbally abusive, followed me to my car in fight mode, almost striking me in the face. Police was called and a report was filled against the employee that committed attempted assault. The owners didn't care, nor did the area supervisor. It was a set up from the beginning to make my work experience with great clips a desiaster.

It's a shame Great clips franchise/corporate mistreat state licensed professionals but have such a high turnover in employment of state license professionals. Great clips have no respect for state licensed professionals nor do they respect the trade. On earth they may not get justice but when Jesus Christ return, they're subject to hell fire.

They in no fashion won anything but gained a seat in hell with satan.

Great Clips Inappropiate conduct from Manager

would like for you to know about the unacceptable conduct of your manager Fawn. Fawn put my son in a head lock to perform his hair cut. I said to Fawn, what is going on? She replied with a giggle, this is protocol. My son's face & neck was red and his eyes filled with tears. My son said in his own words, I could not breathe and she stinks like a smoke house. My son tells everyone he see about this incident. I am encourage by the parents that we told about his experience, to let corp., know so they can change protocol on how worker handles a child when giving hair cuts to, & not to make light of the situation by giggling or chuckling. I also think working with public your workers should know about proper hygiene and making sure the public does not smell smoke on your clothing.

I have been going to this specific salon for 3 years, and I have never had such a terrible experience as this one. Let me just start by saying I will be filing a police report and contacting corporate and the licensing board. I walked into the Ray and Dobson Great Clips in Chandler, as usual and no one was in there, but a hairdresser named Richard, and I had no problem with him doing my hair because normally anyone in there can do my simple cut, despite me never seeing him at this location before. Well, as he gets me in the chair, he banters about different types of hair and how he's not going to use his $2000 shears on my hair cause it will damage his expensive shears, and how I should have not came in with dirty hair. He continues to say more offensive things, I ask him his name and he says, "John Hancock", I say to him, "your license says Richard ", he then replies, "I have many names, you don't need to know it."I own 29 salons," then finally, another hairdresser named Cara came from the back. I then ask her to "please do my hair because Richard is making me very upset and uncomfortable." She beckons me over to her station, Richard says, "Yeah, go over there, and next time, come in with your hair clean." Please understand I'm an African American woman, and I had just washed my hair, so his statement was totally uncalled for and offensive. He then proceeds to take another customer who was Caucasian and said to her, "Thanks for coming in with your hair clean, as he was shampooing her hair." I then ask for his license information, and he nearly knocks me into the station, attempting to grab and hide his license. He then proceeds to tell me his license is 1-800-kiss-my-[censored]. I tried to get in touch with the manager, Robin, by driving to and calling the store she was supposed to be at, but she was not available despite her being scheduled. The video will be posted to TikTok, YouTube, and other social platforms because this behavior is unacceptable!

Great Clips Haircut

Provided an image to the hairstylst of a preferred haircut. Asked the stylist to cut an inch off. Stylist acknowledged the picture and confidently responded she got it. Stylist also acknowledged the one inch cut request. Instead my teenage boy got a buzz cut with a little bit of hair on top. The presumed bangs is slanted and the transition from the buzz cut to the top of the hair is choppy with rough edges. From a long hairstyle my boy walked in to a buzz cut and choppy lines. NOT WHAT WE ASKED FOR. My teenager is embarrassed and does not want to go out. School stars in one week and he feels awful, even though Great Clips did not charge us anything. We would have preferred to get a proper haircut and as requested, and would have gladly pay for it.

Great Clips Hair cut by jesse brashear

Took my 11 year old grandson in for a reshape of his existing cut. Jesse preceeded to tell him it was not what he wanted and gave him a 'gay' haircut. When I tried to speak with Jesse about the situation, he kindly informed me that he was going to give me a moment to walk away! I informed him he would lose his license if I can. I will take it that far! I am reporting him and Great Clips to the Barber Board.

Great Clips making gestures about my culture

As soon as I walked in to location at zip 18966, the Asian guy points with his index finger to his forehead between his eyebrows and looks at his coworker a white lady and nods. And right away they both started asking each other to attend to me. They both were upset that I walked in at 6.35 and they were closing at 7pm and that I should come back another time. I took my son to a different location in Richboro, PA.

Great Clips Haircut

I went to the great clips on Ruby in Division in Spokane, Washington, on 28 June 2023 to have my head shaved. The lady did not clean the clippers that she used to cut my hair and because of it I have a massive rash all over the top of my head because we had pain and it causes me to have double vision. I am seeking compensation for this, and I will be contacting an attorney if my needs are not met that I will be taking the company to court.

Great Clips Typing

This is the second time this has happened to me Mona the hair stylist has demanded a tip of $5.00 dollars when she has already charged me $18.00 for cut, I am not a Senior but the ticket says $16.00 senior cut, the first time this happened she took $20.00 and sed we are finished, I thought it was up to the customer to tip or not is it a law saying you have to tip. you need to check this woman out I was in the chair for about only five minutes and out, sound like she wonts. to make $1.00 a minute plus what great clips pays.

Desired outcome: someone needs to check Mona out and make things right. this happened at 08:53 Saturday morning 6/24/2023 I feel she is doing a lot of people this way.Let me know if i am right!
