In December 2007, I made a payment arrangement with GMAC on a past due balance but my car was repossessed two days before the agreed upon payment was due. I also experienced the long wait time when calling, the rude conversation from the phone representatives, and minimal information provided....

My dealer sent GMAC a payoff check on March 12, 2008. This check came with all my information; name address and social security #.
