GEICO Geico Better Online

Geico is always much easier to deal with online. You avoid all the questions to confirm saved info and avoid idle chit chat and hold times. Online is also straight forward as far as rates, what you see is what you get. Nice quick and fast, and you when you are done you can have your info faxed and emailed to multiple emails.

GEICO Very Impressed. I thought I had cheap low grade insurance, but the service is impressive!

I had an accident that was pretty bad a little over a week ago. Gieco customer service came to the rescue. They had my car towed, got me in a beautiful rental car quickly and easily, and my adjuster has been so on top of it and responsive, always making sure I was happy and well taken care of. I didn't expect this level of service from them and I am very impressed!

GEICO Phone call saved us over $750/yr vs AARP Hartford

It was the most pleasant experience. Having agents that have many years of experience who were able to help us. Because they are NOT commissioned everyone helps each other. The ladies in the office were great. Special cudos to Tyanne Kelly - senior agent. We switched from AARP Hartford - GEICO premiums saved us over $750/year. Fellow AARP Hartford customers check out GEICO. Hartford is no longer an affordable option for us SENIORS. Thank YOU Ladies!

GEICO LIKE THE COMMERCIALS? YOU'LL LOVE THE COMPANY!

Generally its hard to get really excited about an insurance company, car accidents, body work and premiums. These are not the things dreams are made of BUT since you must be insured, THIS IS THE COMPANY. Easy online access to everything, claims, our name it, great website.
Customer Care Superb on the phone and at the body shop. Easy in and out. Smooth car rentals. Courtesy pickups. For me, lowest price premiums I have found.
Someone in corporate is keeping the staff happy. It shows. Thanks Geico!

GEICO Reasonable, reliable insurance with edit options

I have had Geico insurance for a couple years, never needing to file a claim. This means I never actually utilized my car insurance. My car died about a week ago. It was unexpected. I was at work when it happened, so I was a bit worried. I began going research for the lowest price to tow my car. After hours of reading, and comparison, I finally checked towing services with Geico. I was a bit surprised to know that the cost was completely reasonable. I was also to adjust the coverage for my vehicle then and there. Geico turned a a soon-to-be chaotic day into a calm-cause-cars-taken-care-of day

GEICO They are there for you when you needed them most

I was very please with their handling of my insurance needs. Someone just totaled my car ( I had only the minimum insurance for this car) and they have followed up and help me with the paperwork. I don't like their automated system: it drives me nuts, but the people who work there are good and caring. Of course, I don't get a replacement or anything because I didn't have a full coverage, but I still had their support with paperwork etc. Another thing that GEIGO did is to ask me every month if I can make the payment, otherwise they'll cover for me. Fortunately, I needed that extension and will never need, but others may and this is a kind way to treat your customers.

GEICO Claims adjuster totally went to bat for me?showed he truly cared!

Patrick Becker, the claims adjuster in my area for Geico insurance exhibited obvious concern for me and mine as he fought a body shop who was flatly refusing to fix my car. This body shop kept insisting that the car was a "total loss" and wouldn't fix it even though it still ran very well--it just needed, essentially, one repair to drive well, yet they absolutely wouldn't do it. I would have been left without a car with no way to buy one?especially one meeting the demands that have to be put on it.

Anyhow Patrick, working for Geico, refused to let them get away with this. I felt that his only concern was only that I have a working vehicle, despite the shop's regional manager having insisted that Patrick, who was doing the claims adjusting just wanted to, "cash out."

At the end, Patrick worked out a settlement in which I could pay for the deductible plus the amount given for the original estimate by Geico up front and then 'fire and forget,' letting the car be repaired, with its even being towed to my home (for liability reasons) without my being charged.

I was highly impressed that at the time of a claim, Patrick seemed truly committed to my welfare and was in no way trying to short-change me in my time of need, but instead the total opposite! Most of my other relations with Geico agents have been very positive as well. They are generally?almost always? friendly, non-judgmental and generally really know what they are doing and communicate it clearly.

GEICO Dealt with Geico three times as a claimant

I have the unfortunate circumstance of living on a curve that is difficult for drivers to navigate. I have had damage done to my property numerous times by drivers with different insurance companies. Of all the companies I have had to file a claim against, Geico has been the most understanding and have followed through with what they said they would do. They have been consistent as well. Never once have they unreasonably questioned the cost to repair damages to my property. This is extremely important for you when choosing a company to represent and protect you if you are responsible for damaging or injuring another person or their property. If your insurance company doesn't treat the victim of your accident fairly, that victim, will most likely end up filling a lawsuit against you to recover damages. They don't need to deal with your insurance company when you are the one at fault because you are the one responsible for the damages, not your insurance company. You don't want your insurance company messing with your financial stability because they want to make money for their shareholders. You buy insurance to stay out of court. If the company is more concerned about their shareholders then they are with protecting you and you wind up in court, your insurance company is not fulfilling their contract with you. In my experience as a claimant with Geico, they are doing what they have contracted to do. As with any purchase of an insurance policy, understand what you are buying, what you are not buying, and don't be afraid to ask questions. Also remember that different market places have different people working in them and a national company may be better at serving customers and claimants based on the caliber of the employees working in those areas than others. Do your research carefully because your understanding of insurance is something that can make a difficult time easier to navigate or make your life miserable.

This insurance company raises policy premiums with zero explanation. They changed my yearly mileage by tripling it thus increasing the premium. There was zero notable attempts to contact me to confirm. Instead threats of cancellation. I’m absolutely disgusted with the malpractice and intend on filling a formal complaint with the Dept of Insurance. The responsibility is placed on the insured for their fraudulent increases. I would NEVER recommend them.

I was with Geico for over 5 years without an issue. I received a letter in the mail yesterday stating that my fiances daughter will automatically be added to my policy since she lives in the household part time (she has never driven, nor will ever drive my car). The only way she would not be added automatically is if I can send in proof of her insurance. Well... she has insurance through her father and he is not going to send me a MINORS information regarding her insurance or coverage. Geico does not accept this and therefore I had to cancel my policy and go with a different company. This is the worst experience that I have ever had with a car insurance company.

They added another driver to my policy without my authorization. They then tried to cover up what they did, by stating they sent two emails and lettersin March. I informed them, that whenever I receive an email dealing with my policy, I always read it and it did not state anything about adding another driver in any of those emails. The so called "letters" I received in March, was one and it was at the end of April and I had no time to respond to it before seeing my payments had reached the $400s. I then asked why my payments remained at $200 rather than what I had just paid for the month of May, I was told that since she was covered then removed, that was why the cost was what it was. When I was told that it was "only a few extra dollars, it's not that big of a deal" I decided I wash my hands of them and find another company. Trash!

I can always count on Geico in time of need. Geico takes care of me whenever I require roadside assistance. Unlike other companies, I am always able to reach a live representation that is understanding, courteous and helpful. If only all companies were more like Geico.

If I can give them a -50 I would. It is absurd as a consumer that you pay for insurance for your car, to cover the needs when a car accident happens. They get you to pay for deductible which should not be. People do not have accidents every day for that we should not have to pay for deductible. Unfortunately, this bad experience of having to pay for a deductible when someone who hit me and is at fault, I am the one paying for the deductible, this company GEICO tells you we will do everything possible to recuperate your deductible back. Well, I was given less than. When you put your mind to it, not only they do they get away with the $2,300 every 6 months for insurance for my 3 cars they get the money back for fixing the car! Who is fighting for US, who is watching this companies from getting more than they should. They are horrible people with companies that get away with more money than they should, which is not fair. Also, they are so NASTY with their attitudes, have no passion for the job, have no care for others, are very disrespectful.

Last year I was involved in a no fault accident. A young lady hit the back of my car at a stop light while I was driving my best friend home and now geico is sending me a letter accusing me of using my car for *** and *** and they are planning to drop my insurance. I have never worked for *** or *** nor have I ever purchased a ride from them. This is obsurd. I am highly offended and feel like I am being discriminated against. How can they falsely accuse me of working for *** or *** when I never work for them a day in my life. Then the representative tell me I will need to call *** and *** and get a letter from them stating I do not work for them. Can a stranger call *** or *** and randomly asl for a letter stating I do not work for them. I ask them for proof and they told me it is in a statement but could not provide the statement for me. I was then told I need to speak to someone in claims but the claim is locked and they need a supervisor to open it so I I will need to wait for a call back from a supervisor tomorrow. This is horrible business from Geico. I pay my bill on time, I follow the rules and I do not use my card for *** or *** so how can they do this to me.

Customer for 37 years with no claims and they raised our rates to 4000 dollars a year. We went with another insurance company. The same coverage and deductible for around 2000 less. The agent had the nerve to tell me if I took a defensive driving course , I would save 10 percent. I would not recommend Geico after treating us the way they did. Even when you cancel with them; they don’t seem to care.

GEICO Today for the first time I had to get my vehicle towed

Today for the first time I had to get my vehicle towed. I called Geico and they took care of everything. All I had to do was wait for Priority Towing to arrive, which was not long at all. The driver was really nice and kind and answered all my questions. Thanks Geico for taking care of everything and thanks to Priority Towing. You guys are the best! Have a safe and Happy New Year!

I don't like GEICO for one they are too expensive and two we are fighting them through our lawyer. And they are refusing to pay when it was their customers fault. I will be going to other sites to put in bad reviews so as many people know about this company.

Geico left me unknowingly uninsured for an entire month. Long story short, they were threatening to discontinue my policy because I didn't put my stepson down as a driver. I called and explained that it was because he's going off to the Marines, and I didn't see the point. The guy at the time promised it would work out, and days later, I got a confirmation that my policy was all good. Yesterday, I happen to check the app and see that my policy had expired back in April and was never renewed. I tried calling, but the way Geico works is if you're not a customer, there's no way to talk to a human. They basically discarded me with no regard and no consideration. I could have gotten into an accident and would have been taken to the cleaners because of these [censored]s who don't have the courtesy of dealing with customers properly. In the end, these leeches sell you a service you pray you'll never need, and when you do need it, they up their price because you used it. Screw you, Geico. You don't have the decent to deal with someone who's been a customer for more than a decade.

I am a policy holder on Geico. A salesman came to my door and told my daughter that my windshield was cracked and he called Geico for a rate on a Friday 4/28. My daughter tried to explain that she knows nothing about the policy and that he will have to talk to me. But he proceeded anyways to call Geico. On a Monday 5/1, I get calls about a claim filed for my car. I called a Geico for more information as I did not file that claim. Did not get a response back so called back 4 days later on 5/5. Spoke to CSR and she was not listening to my concerns or explanation of what happened. I told her the claim was filed not by me or my daughter. My daughter knows nothing about the policy and stated that to the salesman and Geico. The salesman made up the date of when my windshield cracked, I confirmed with my daughter this as she stated she was confused the whole time this was happening. The Geico CSR proceed to tell me that because she has access to the policy that they will go by what she states and will not fix the issue. This is truly an error in data and a misunderstanding and they wouldn’t even listen to fix it. Unbelievable! All the money I pour into their company and this is the treatment I get. No resolution! Completely disappointed, Cherish

I had a very unfortunate total loss flood claim involving my 2021 Brand new Ford Raptor. The whole claim process took a little over 30 days. At the end the settlement amount was fair and they did not gave me any problems. This is why you always go with a top tier company like Geico. The adjuster Louis Mcclelland was a joy to work with. Thank you guys for honoring the contract and backing up your reputation.

I would like GEICO to know that Mr. Jeff K (Claim Adjuster) of Dallas gave my family and I the VERY BEST customer service concerning our auto claim. He reassured us that we had reached the right person to assist us with all of our concerns during our difficult situation. To me, customer service is everything and he has perfected his craft. GEICO Over the last couple years, I've had to deal with Geico reps 3 times

Over the last couple years, I've had to deal with Geico reps 3 times. I've been with a lot of insurance companies. It's always the same. The service reps are not helpful at all. They usually no very little and are reading off paper as to what to say. Geico is the opposite. All 3 times, the reps seemed like you were already on with a supervisor or pro. They dealt with me as if they'd done it thousands of times. They are always empathetic-- asking if I was ok in a calm, caring way. EACH time was the same. Geico clearly has a different strategy-- pay service people more in order to have much higher level service people. It is a great strategy in my opinion. For the first time in my life, I CARE who my insurance carrier is. It never mattered in the past, and I always told people that they all do the same thing. Just go with the lowest premium. That isn't true now. I see bad reviews on here. Maybe a lot are from the past. There's no way I got ULTRA professional, highly knowledgable people 3 out of 3 times. Can't say enough about it. I'd do a commercial for them if I could.

I have been a licensed driver for 39 years and have had Geico on and off over all those years (I shop around for better rates when it's renewal time). I have never once filed a claim with them because I have had zero accidents. No accidents, no speeding tickets, nothing. They have had to do nothing in regards to me except collect my monthly payment. I've recently become disabled and am no longer able to work. I've filed for social security disability but it will be months before I find out if I'm approved and can collect benefits. I've had to borrow money from my kids and apply for food stamps to get by. Never in my life have I gotten assistance of any kind, I've always worked multiple jobs to care for myself and my kids. My monthly insurance payment was due and I literally had no money. I called Geico to see if I could get and extension and was told I had 3 extra days as a grace period before cancellation, that's it. My policy was cancelled for 2 1/2 days, my son gave me the money to get it reissued and now my monthly payment is $50 more per month because of this. Like I said, Geico has done nothing but make money off of me over many years and this is how they treat a long term customer who is in a really bad situation. It's shameful. They're greedy [censored].

I was with Geico for 1 year. I thought I found the right insurance company. When my car unexpectedly caught fire they were very helpful. Even though some reps made me feel like I did something wrong. All and all they got the job done. The issue didn’t come until I tried to add my boyfriend to my policy. Because his car was broke and I was working from home. They wanted him to send in a letter saying his license was reinstated even though it had already been reinstated for a year. So because of the issue I decided to take him off the policy. He was on my policy for only 2 weeks. I thought the issue was over. Well, no they cancel my policy with no notice. Saying that I must provide residency for my boyfriend stating he has his own car and insurance. Why would I provide personal information for a person who is not on the policy. When I am the initial person on the policy. Why worry about that person. I’m the one that owns the vehicle and pay the bill from my own bank account. Well according to Geico you can’t verbally and electronically withdraw someone from your policy. Even though they sent me letter saying I could do so and there mobile app allowed to do it. And even when I called the Geico rep she said “I see you took him off the policy”. But Geico still cancel my policy. It seems like personal issues were discuss in which I think is very unprofessional for a company of that status. Worst experience ever! You get what you pay for! I was driving my car for a whole month with no insurance because they did not notify me that my insurance was cancel. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

GEICO I highly recommend Geico for car insurance

I highly recommend Geico for car insurance. If you are using AAA auto insurance, you should quit for good. Someone hit my car in the parking lot while backing off. That person apologized and shared with me his AAA insurance info. I thought this would be a very straightforward process and contacted AAA. But I was wrong on this. 1. AAA's adjuster and his advisor lied about my statement (I told them that I was backing off, but stopped a few before the impact). But in their record they said that my statement is that I was moving before the impact. 2. AAA used a very questionable model to decided responsibility (in order to escape responsibility). They decided whether my car was moving or not by looking at where those collisions are. 3. AAA repeatedly ignore key evidences that I provided to them (my car radar signal). I provided them video showing that my car first stopped and a few seconds later my car radar turned to long beeping (indicating the collision). However, they just repeatedly ignoring this no matter how hard I asked them why the don't consider this. 4. The whole claim process was awful. It is extremely hard to contact their adjusters. I had to call them a lot of times. They pick up phone calls probably one in 10 tries, and ignore my voice message just forever. They never reply to my email. When they called me, they were not trying to convince me, but instead tried to force me accept their conclusion. I tried to address this with them through BBB. However, I think they just don't care and call out it is concluded even without addressing my main questions above. Fortunately, I am insured with Geico myself. Their adjuster even told me that "even if you go to your insurance company, they would do the same." However, I shared this story with Geico. Geico ajdusters were very polite and took my concern very seriously. The whole process was very smooth. What Geico told me was that "AAA is way over in deciding responsibility. We will defend for you. ". This is pretty assuring. Overall, I would suggest everyone avoid AAA insurance and choose a reasonable company. I quit all of my AAA (home) insurance and membership already. I suggest you do the same. I highly recommend Geico for car insurance.
