Geeks Home and Office Scam, no payment received

I was contacted via Geeks Home and Office by a man named David via email for a house call that next day. I performed the services exceptionally according to the customer survey and per David. I was then told my check would be mailed out to me the end of that month which was only a few days after the services were performed. It is now almost 4 weeks later and no check. Within that time I have made around 15 phone calls to the [protected] number. Within those 15 phone calls I only got a hold of two different people which tells me the company is very small and they quote in their "About Us" website page "...a family oriented business..." however they are subcontracting technicians left and right through any means necessary to get the job done which is obviously not "family oriented". I was told by David, after failing to contact me back when he said he would 3 times, that he or the billing manager named Larry would absolutely call me back that next morning to get this all worked out. I never got a phone call. I have 4 different numbers that I tried calling them from and they all either went straight to voicemail or it sounded like someone picks up but I couldn't get anyone to speak. I then called Geeks Home and Office on a friends phone and David picked up. As soon as I introduced myself he hung up on me. I have several of my phone calls with this David character recorded and ready to proceed with a class action lawsuit along with several other technicians that became victim to this scam. I am convinced that this company is a complete scam. It is too bad I did not do any research before performing the service. If I had I would of seen the hundreds of complaints posted all over the internet.

I ended up contacting the customer and told her the story. She disputed the charge right away and since she was more than satisfied with the services I performed that she will be calling me from now on for computer work. I also have a P.I. Investigator in the works gathering dirt on this so called David guy and the company. As soon as I obtain enough legitimate information I will be releasing it to the public so everyone can take this guy to court and that's a promise. I am not only fighting for my loss and the customer but I am also fighting for all the victims. If anyone has any additional information they would like to provide to help take this company down please email me at hideawaycyberATgmail.com. The email is to hide my identity from the public nothing more.

Here is what I found out about this company...

Names of the people I either talked to or were told were employees.

1. Nicholas Cavallaro (Supposedly the CEO of this company. I never talked to this guy but it had this name in the title field of the first email I got.
2. David (The guy I have almost always found answering the phone calls. I got several phone recordings of this guy stating he owes me payment and trying to dodge it with excuses)
3. Michael (I think his name was Michael. I talked to this guy once. I have the entire phone call recorded)
4. Larry (Never talked to him but was told by David he was the manager of billing)
5. On the service form I have attached it states to make all checks payable to Larry Cavallaro.

Phone numbers

1. [protected] (This is the one I used to call David on before and after the job)

2. [protected] (On their website)

Emails

1. [protected]@geekshomeandoffice.com
2. [protected]@gmail.com

Address of this company according to the Better Business Bureau

1. 2302 River Rd, Potsdam, NY 13676 (I mapped this and it simply points to a house)

SOURCE: BBB Website (Rated Geeks Home and Office with an "F" because of several complaints that were never addressed.

Fair warning to all technicians and customers. Don't trust this company. Its a complete scam and you have been warned.

Glad to help. That's the same email I received only the customer description was different. If I could do it all again and be in your situation I would take the job, show up at the customers house and inform them of the entire situation. Have them dispute the credit card charge from Geeks Home and Office and take the payment in full AND steal the customer. Then call David and say suck it. Haha too hilarious...

What kind of LOSER company hires a tech to do a job, collects payment from the customer, then doesn't pay the tech? I used to believe there were two sides to every story but, WOW, these guys are just flat out thieves & liars.

Warning to all PC Technicians considering working for this company. I have done excellent work for this company for 3 months now. Out of those 3 months they paid me once on time. The other two months I never received a pay check! I begged and pleaded and they finally let me go out on jobs and collect some of the money owed to me directly from the customer...
