I wish I'd taken the time to check out this website before joining. I was conned into it via contact from someone on Grindr in the UK. The scam started with an invitation to a "private party" nearby in London - I had heard of similar events so I decided to see what it was about. I acknowledged the contact on Grindr and was directed to a "local moderator" who would approve my registration. The name used was Russel Xavier and the email address is [protected]@gmail.com
To register for the party he insisted that I signed up to GCruise and then pass them proof - telling me I could cancel my membership straight away - I registered and I then got an invitation to a nearby party at a well known hotel chain. However, the invitation came with quite a shock - it would only be valid if I attended a special medical (cost 80GBP), paid for a costume (70GBP) and paid a one-off VIP Fee (100GBP) - a total of GBP250. The money was to be paid via Western Union to someone in the Philippines. Needless to say that by this time the penny had dropped that the party invitation at least was a scam and I did not pay a penny. I'd already paid for GCruise membership and was initially impressed with the number of flirts and messages I got, but it only took a short while to realise - as everyone outlines in other complaints on your site - it is a total scam. Messages are clearly not genuine, replies are never received. I'd suggest anyone hit by these ### gets the message out there on whatever "dating" sites theyvisit - help others not to get scammed. Sadly I deleted all the emails from my GMail account so cannot provide any further information.

My story is even better! Got an email on a different gay social media site saying how interesting my profile was and he'd like to meet, but he was leaving this site and never coming back because he was being harassed by a member. Gave me his gmail address and asked me to contact him there, which I did. When he responded, he said he heard about this great new site, GCruise, from a friend who said it was great and there would be no problems. He asked me to join with him, even paying my first fee if I couldn't so we could get to know one another better. Took a quick look, and something didn't seem right. Why would I need to join another hook up site to get to know a guy I was already conversing with on private email. Went back and told him that I wasn't joining yet another hook up site, and that if he wasn't a scam he could continue emailing me and agree to meet for coffee. Guess he was a scam as he never responded. Struck me as a phishing scam to get credit card info, so for those who did join, pay attention to your credit transactions!

Simply avoid the website www.gcruise.com. The website is full of dirty picas of gays. I was totally freaked out that I found this website. I registered there, but after I saw all this crap, I decided to cancel my registration. Unfortunately they didn’t return money, which I paid for the registration. Stay away from them and post comment about this website in order to warn other people.

Scam and FRAUD! Advertised at the Google Play Store as a mobile "app" all the "app" does is take the user to a website with ZERO functionality unless you pay the outrageous subscription price of $35/mo !

Oh, yeah, you will be contacted by automated fake profiles baiting you to 'subscribe" and meet these people who are so hot to meet you -- And also about those fake 5-star ratings -- ummm, how do you spell "in-house SCAMMING!" ? ? ?

Don't waste you time nor money!
