Footwearworl review: I think that they lost my order, but they didn't refund 24

Yes - a complete scam. I lost $135.00 with them and lodged a complaint with paypal to try and get my money back, but not luck, they do not respond and it seems they are changing the email to deposit paypal money too constantly so paypal can't even get them, or doesn't care seeing this has been going on a year now judging from these complaint dates.
As much as I order online, this is the 1st time I've been scammed! But at least I know some red flags now, hopefully other people will read this.

I placed an order for a pair of boots one week ago thru PayPal. Luckily the seller never accepted my payment. I kept checking daily on the status of my order, and it was in process. Also somehow, they had that I ordered two pairs of the same boots. So I emailed them, which the email on the website is different than the email I'm PayPal and not confirmed by PayPal . Anyway, I never heard from the seller. I then checked online for reviews...thank God I checked! I cancelled my payment thru PayPal and sent another email to Footwearworl.com informing them to cancel my order. Thanks to all of you writing your reviews, I haven't lost any money. I am very bummed about the boots! On eBay they are $500 and over. On this scam site they are $144 and no shipping fees. I understand why people would flock to Footwearworl.com. Good luck to all of you who are trying to get your money back.

UGH I wish I would have researched this site! MAJOR SCAM! This is pathetic that this site still exists! Agree very nice selection. Very disappointed!

Oh, I wish I researched Footwearworl before placing my order! Totally a scam/ fraudulent company.
Do NOT make the same mistake I did and be fooled by the great selection and great price!
I thought the site, especially when placing my order seemed fishy! The items I ordered didn't have an
Item number and my order was processed before I paid. I never received an invoice from Footwearworl only
from PayPal. I have reported this company to PayPal and hoping to get a refund!
So beware of this company... Don't be fooled like I was!

Thank god I read this. As soon as I processed my order via PalPal I thought "Hmm...there's something fishy about this site, I might just check it out" and I saw all of these comments. I cancelled the order immediately. Thankfully PayPal makes it easy! I'm gong to be a lot more circumspect in future.

RUN don't walk away from this site! I knew something was fishy when the payment page in the checkout process was NOT a secure site. Then it crashed my computer. Im sorry for everyone who has been ripped off. If the deal is too good to be true, welllll ...

why is the site still in existence? why hasn't paypal stop them from using their services as a payment means ? every shoe size in hard to find shoes + no phone number+ no facebook page = SCAM

My mother tried to order shoes from this company. When I came to her home, she was trying to get the payment to go through. We used PayPal, but the "Pay To" just seemed fishy to me. I am so glad I got to Mom's in time! I got the PayPal refund and found this page! Thank you, everyone, for your comments. I contacted PayPal, as well. Merry Christmas!

DON'T BUY SHOES FROM THIS FAKE COMPANY! I ordered shoes from this company two months ago, and they never arrived. This company is a scam! I have seen 0 positive reviews and plenty of negative ones. I have tried to contact them, but they don't respond at all.

Yes, PLS do NOT fall for the low prices & wide selection of shoes! I am so disappointed that footwearworl is a total fraud. I am very thankful to everyone who posted their comments to warn ppl. I was just about to purchase, but a couple things made me Google reviews before making payment. #1: the boots I want have been sold out in certain sizes worldwide. But footwearworl has it!?! Then, #2 instead of having a direct legit link to PayPal, it emails you a shady invoice instead. That was the major red flag there. I hope the person or ppl behind this scam get caught soon.

Thank goodness for Google! I went looking for my favourite shoes (Earth Spirit Kenya loafers) and the only place I could find them was http://www.footwearworl.com/. I did wonder about the website as it says FootwearArk.com yet the URL was footwearworl.com? The real concern to start off was the same contact email for both websites (ahmadsyalshaer@hotmail.com). Why would they have Hotmail when they have their own domain they could use something like info@footwearworl.com or info@footwearark.com? I then looked up the domain information for both footwearworl.com and footwearark.com. Hello! Alarm bells going off! footwearworl.com was created 01-may-2014 by Ross Ridout in Zheng Zhou, He Nan, China. FootwearArk.com was created 28-jan-2013 by Baocang Liu in Jiang Su, CA, China. There's also a website called Scam Advisor (http://www.scamadviser.com/) and they advised against both websites. I hope by going to footwearworl.com and footwearark.com I didn't inadvertently let in some virus, spyware, or malware on my computer! So what do I have to say? STAY AWAY FROM THOSE WEBSITES! Don't send them your money. I know they got your shoes at fantastic prices but they are bad news! And yeah, I'm out of luck with my shoes. They were the best. And now I got to find another style/brand. Like I said, thank goodness for Google and for all the previous comments.

I am very grateful for all of these comments here! Thank goodness I used PayPal and was just now able to cancel the transaction because the recipient hadn't gotten to the funds yet! And I agree with you, LBC Guy, Damn, I did really want those shoes!

Thanks for all the comments. I got a very funny feeling about this company and how they processed my order so I decided to dig a little deeper. Sure enough, no customer service, no contact phone number and a very strange hotmail account (donnastansdsberry@hotmail.com ). Thankfully I cancelled my order before it was captured thanks to all the above comments. And who the hell names a company Footwearworl? Where's ther "D"? But damn I really wanted those shoes.

I placed an order on april 22nd, and there has been no further communication or updates. I used paypal to pay for my order, and finally reviewed the payment today. Turns out that it went to someone named 'chen yu na' and has no indication of the store name anywhere in the transaction. Definitely think this site is a scam, probably somewhere in Asia. Hopefully paypal will return my funds.

Hi all, You got to be careful as some online stores are from China selling counterfeit items or even nothing but just fishing your money. If they don't show office address and phone number but just email address, don't buy from them.

I found www.foodwearworl.com yesterday and thought their site was suspicious and did some research. I found all buyer reviews negative, not one positive comment about this website and its service. I sent them a message and about their untrustworthy reputation. The message sent may not return money lost to customers who never received their items. However, it will let them know that more people are aware of their scam. To the buyers from this website, I am sorry to hear, it has happened to me once before also. I appreciate when people write posts online that warn others. I do wish for the best resolution for all of you. People who scam others are often caught and they do eventually end up paying for their crimes.

I ordered Feb 16th and emailed twice to check my status; as of today March 5th I haven't received my order or response from company. Warning do not order from them;'I think this company is a scam. SCAM!*ALERT*...SCAM!

I agree 100% I bought a pair of men's shoes off of them they sent a confirmation email an I neva heard from them again .. My bank in looking into the situation as we speak tryna get a refund for the money ... They need shut down this company such ashame they keep scamming innocent people

I have to say I tend to agree that there is something wrong with this site. I was going to purchase from them but some things about their site are strange. These things are... No phone number, the e-mail address is a free e-mail address from hotmail.com as their contact e-mail. Also, originally, when I went to this site the web address is www.footwearark.com but as u click thru the site it changes to www.footwearworl.com. I have sent e-mails with questions and have not received any answers. It is so tempting, they have a pair of boots I want really bad for 1/2 price. They are $500 boots for $250. All other sites are the going price of $499+. Cheapest legit site was like $465. Have to admit though, they sure have alot of shoes especiially if this turns out to really be a Scam.
