Night time front in manager
Saturday, Mar 30, 2024 food lion in Prince George Va .. bogo sign “buy 2 get 1 free” on Red Bull drinks. It didn’t come off at register. I ask the self check clerk about this and she got manager Shirley (who took forever to come) she was rude.. clerk showed her and she yells across the front that was last weeks sale. Yells at me “ma'am that was last weeks sale” Didn’t offer deal and several signs were still up. It was the stores fault that several signs were up promoting this deal. She should have gave the deal since they had failed to remove these signs. This store has gone down lately. Poor management and rude employees
Desired outcome: Store to file a complaint against her and she should be demoted. She is not manager material

if you're gonna sell this stuff and put your name on it you better make sure it is what it says..opened a can of these and it was 1/2 water...better talk to whoever makes this crap for you or kiss my [censored] goodbye...has never been this bad till recently i suspect cost savings and cheating the consumer...all you're doing is tarnishing your name most of your store brand products aren't that bad but if this is a trend that'll be the end of that.

This occurred at the Morganton Blvd store. a kid named Jacob was total jerk toward my husband when we went to pick up our groceries. he was rude and condescending. we received a text that the order was ready then three hours later sent another one that said it not ready til tomorrow cause there is no one there to shop it. this store never has staff they make excuses for their terrible staff and bad attitude. the GM is rude and incompetent and doe not handle staffing or morale issues at all. he is especially rude towards women.
i will not be using food lion any further

Food lion vegetable department on Horner Blvd. Sanford, NC
The Food Loin on S Horner Blvd. In Sanford near the Big Lot is the worst vegetable department we have ever experienced. In the past I've returned peaches to get my money back due to rotten fruit in a sealed bag. Today, Oct 7, 2023 the fresh vegetable trays a fill with water, the vegetable have oxidized and are brown. We have pictures that should not be sent to the health department, but if nothing is done we will register a complaint. This problem has been experienced many times at this particular store and no other that we have seen.
Desired outcome: Reprimand or replace the management of the store. Hire a staff for the vegetable department that cares about the reputation of the store.

The Food Lion on Springs Road in Hickory North Carolina is putting out Lettuce without any source of the product. The last 4 heads I purchased looked okay on the outside, but when you cut into it, it is full of dark brown spots.
Food Lion is known for their freshness, but I suggest you stop using the vendor and replace it with Dole produce, which backs their products.

My name is Michele Mosley, I was a former employee up until the COVID epidemic. I had been with foodlion going on 4 years. My son was also employed with foodlion he has been with them since 16 years old he is now 34. He is now back with foodlion after he was terminated wrongly after contacting COVID. We both were terminated same day, from 2 different stores. My termination was a fabricated lie, mistake, anything but the truth. Anyway after 2 years I was offered to comeback and was excited to return to foodlion seeing I loved my job as a cake dercorater and this was my store, I shopped at this store, I embraced my fellow employees as family along with the very best customers in the world. So I was interviewed hired and was logged in to onboard, ready to start the following day. I quit my job and was ready to start next day, when store manager informed me I was being unhired. How does this happen, how can someone hire you and unhire you literally on your first day. Now I am without a job, I am going to lose my home and have no other recourse but to retain a attorney and try to make this right some how. HR should have at least notified someone earlier that I was not subject to be rehired. My life is in shambles and I can't tell you just how this has affected me.
