Installed water filtering equipment but didn't give me any brochures or directions on the equipment. I have told them I want to be on the service plan but they will not give me a service contract, refuse to service the equipment and will not give me the info I need to service it myself. (It also sounds like if I service it myself, it could effect the warranty on the equipment. I am using unfiltered Florida well water in my home which I believe to be a definite health risk. I have contacted BBB but they don't seem to be accomplishing anything. In the meantime, I am paying for this system that isn't doing it's job.

My husband has similar situation with a company called Artesian Water back in 2003 (since we too have well water). They came in a put in a whole water treatment system in, they tried to give a "good deal" by giving us a used blatter for holding the water for a cheaper price. Little did we know that the used blatter that they said was still good was not. We financed the system for about $4, 000.00. We tried calling them over and over, never getting anyone to help us. Finally we found out the company went bankrupt, and sold the contracts to another company. We'll my husband declared bankruptcy in 2004 for financial reasons, including this water system in the bankruptcy. The company turned around and put a lien on our house, without us knowing. Then we went to refinance our house in 2007; we had to pay them for this crappy water system that never worked properly. We have had so many issues, from flooding (in our utility room where the system was put) to the motor sparking & eventually having to replace it, to it running constantly causing our power bill to go higher.
