The government claims the inflation rate is 8 to 10% per year. Using what kind of math? Canned vegetables and fruit are up 50% in the last 6 months. Gasoline has doubled. Riding lawn mowers have doubled in the last year and a half. Plastic plumbing pipe, PVC Schedule 40 has tripled in one year. These are not 8 to 10% but 50 to 300%. This is hyperinflation but the government or any news media is able to say the truth for fear of panic and doom. They were very specific about a 13% increase in the price of eggs over the past year. Six months ago eggs were 79 cents a dozen and now they're $3.20 a dozen. That's hardly 13%.

Desired outcome: Truth
