FashionPay.com company took setup fee and then stopped responding

Fashionpay.com provides merchant services to high risk industries. We got some good references from other companies and paid this Fashionpay 4000 USD as a setup fee, then 1 month later they stopped providing the credit card processing service indefinately. Now they are not responding and we are out of pocket for 4000 USD. The chinese scammers at their best.

I wanted to start working with this company, but thank God, I did not manage to send money to the scammers. Yes, it can be seen from the reviews and working methods that they are real thieves.

There are absolutely no guarantees with Fashionpay and it's understanble since they work with high risk industries (virtual goods and currencies, payday loans, forex, pharmacies, gaming, etc). Here are a few risks to bear in mind with Fashionpay:

1. You pay the setup fee and they can close your account any time (even after a few weeks of account opening, yes it has happened), setup fees are non-refundable in any case, kiss it goodbye, you can complain and negotiate all you want, you will not get your setup fee refunded. They can blame your account closure on the GLOBAL BRAND PROTECTION INNOVATION PROGRAMME (GBPIP) or that their processing banks have fined Fashionpay for whatever reason. You have no way of verifying this information.
2. Transaction success rate is around 60-70%. Sometimes Fashionpay will send out newletters saying that Visa channel has stopped working for an indefinite period of time. These periods have lasted anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks. During this "down time" you will not be compensated in any way. You can complain all you want, you will not get compensated.
3. The exchange rate is extortiaonate. Fashionpay charges in CNY (Chinese Yuan) and the exchange rate that US and European banks use is extraordinary. In the end your customers will see on their bank statements amounts 10-15% higher than they initially placed the order for on your website. You will find that quite a few customers will file chargebacks based on this.
4. Chargebacks. If you receive a chargeback and subsequently the customer cancels it and you submit all the required paper work to Fashionpay (customer comunnication, tracking numbers, etc), in 99% of cases Fashionpay would still not remove the chargeback, therefore you loose the order amount plus you get slapped a $20 penalty.
5. Setup and yearly fee - $4000+$4000. Comission on your transactions - 8%. Payout cycle - 30 days. The rolling reserve - 10% (paid after 180 days). Chargeback processing - $20.

Use at your own risk. We have lost a setup and a yearly fee with this company and they refuse to refund or reopen a new account. If they treated their clients well, we would have still be using Fashionpay.

I see Fashionpay have stated I have not told the truth. Really... which bit of your terrible service have I not told the truth about. The fact you never resolve problems?, the fact you over charge what should be taken so our customers are really pissed off with us but you blame their banks for this? Or the fact you hold money back and never release it. I reiterate all of my warnings about these people, and the fake identities they use to correspond with. The famous "Helen" identity that never ever resolves a problem, an dif you keep chasing for an answer, well shock gasp horror, you do not get a reply from anyone via this fashionpay identity anymore. Oh, not forgetting the fact the system just stops working, and when it does it as so many stupid sitpulations it is almost impossible to get any ones cards to work with it. In SUMMARY AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! AND THATS THE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH

Use this company for over a year and it is a terrible service. Yes customers get over charged by them. The system is down for months whilst they try to find another bank to work for them. They continually send wrong currency to our bank incurring huge wire repair costs. Yes the contact Helen, is a waste of time, cannot communicate at all well in English, ignores you when they have issues, and never ever resolves a single issue. So in all honesty, use as a total last resort and only if you have extinguished ever other possibility of obtaining another merchant processor.

Also it’s almost impossible for a customer to pay, as there are so many restrictions to pass. E.g. IP of client to your website, can’t use the same IP twice in a day, IP must be from the same company as the billing address therefore NO GOOD if you are selling to services to tourists and visitors, many cards will not work with them due to the fact processing is in China, and the bank they use constantly changes, therefore many of your clients cards are blocked by their bank. Overall your repeat customers simply get frustrated with you and eventually look elsewhere. You have been suitably warned.

FashionPay.com Charged my card for $362.00 coach bags of which I have not received

I went to what looked like a Coach website. When I paid for my purchase through fashionpay.com, I received an email thanking for my purchase and to look for the tracking number. I have not received the merchandise nor can I get in contact with fashionpay.com. Telephone numbers listed are bogus and emails are not returned. $362 was charged to my card.

fashionpay is just the payment processor (like paypal). these guys are based out of hong kong. contacting fashionpay will do nothing and they just sign up high risk vendors selling counterfit merchandise. this does not mean fashionpay is bad as I know several merchant selling high risk supplements using them to process their cards. they have had no issues because they supply the customer with the right product and respond to complaints. so don't blame fashionpay blame the merchants who sign up to sell counterfit merchandise. the only way to get your money back will be to launch a chargeback in which case the vendor will have to pay all the money back along with a very high chargeback fee (charged to them from fashionpay.com). just wanted to give you guys a little advice and not blame fashionpay but the merchants. launching a chargeback is the worst but you will get the last laugh. the reason these merchants are high risk is because they get high rates a chargebacks and sell illegally.

fashionpay is a division of HSBC bank I believe

FashionPay.com Scam

I placed an order of Converse shoes at http://www.bestconverseallstar.com/. I suppose the website(http://www.converse-outlet-store.com/) is the same as with http://www.bestconverseallstar.com/. When I paid for the order, the payment was made by fashionpay. Then I got a text message that the payment was approved from my credit card company but the amount of money was different from the money of the shoes that I ordered. The difference was about 10 USD. Plus, the statement in the order confirmed email that I received from fashionpay was below.
**Due to floating exchange rate, tiny disparity of order value may exist.
**Please note that your bank may apply a small charge for handling this transaction.

Then I sent an email to fashionpay as well as bestconverseallstar to cancel the order but I haven't got any response from both of them. I searched information regarding fashionpay and bestconverseallstar and finally I noticed that there are a lot of people like me. They also were scammed by fashionpay and bestconverseallstar. Never! Never! Never! buy and pay anything at both of them.

I find it very strange that fashion pay ltd sends a request for information about the company's URL that I made my purchase through. If they are the merchant service for the company why are they asking me to give them info. I looked into it and found that they have a specific process in how they confirm purchases, contacting the purchaser to confirm info is one of the steps. There is about a $9.00 difference between the amount I saw online and the amount I was charged. I guess it is an international purchase from China, things are way different between the two countries. I just hope I get my merchandise.

FashionPay.com Shoes are a knock-off, and they are NOT size 13

I ordered Nike Freddy Krueger shoes size 13. Package came without a label or packing slip. Shoes are a knock-off, and they are NOT size 13. My husband wears size 12, and the shoes were too small for him. Unable to return because no address given. I've sent two emails asking how to return the shoes, with no response. I had no idea when I ordered the shoes that they came from overseas. Buyer beware!

FashionPay.com Fraudulent / Counterfeit Items / Scam

Ordered shoes thru Bagstore.eu. Confirm email came from Fashionpay.com & was very odd & unusual. Suspected scam. Researched Fashionpay & found many complaints. Sent canx request to them & they wouldn't. Called credit card company to contest & had to wait 15-days. In meantime, Fashionpay sent item. Wrong style shoes sent; they are also counterfeit knockoffs made of material that resembles what pool rafts are made of. Absolutely unbelievable! Avoid Bagstore.eu as well as Bagsbuy.eu & shoesibuy.com are all clone websites run by same racketeers. When you order, you won't know Fashionpay is handling your transaction until when the confirm email comes. None of what you read on any sites I listed is what they stand behind. All fake, fraudulent, and is all a scam. You should see these shoes! $79 lost!
