Lenovo PF2TT1YN Serial number of computer

I purchased this computer for work and within a couple of months the computer keyboard stopped working. Since I live in Alaska I had to wait to fly to Washington to have a technician come out to fix it. It worked for maybe a couple months and then the same issue broke where the keyboard stopped working. Again I was in Alaska so I sent the laptop in. At this point it was such an unreliable computer that I bought another one. I just received the repair back from Lenovo two months ago and again the keyboard is broken and does not work. This is a faulty product. I would like a partial refund as I have never been able to use the computer as advertised

Claimed loss: $650 for the broken computer and $800 for the replacement computer I had to buy

Desired outcome: Partial refund

Lenovo Stolen Items PC never was fixed and deleted all my drivers for my AMD and Legions softwars

I had a PC Legion S7 16ARHA7 - Type 82UG sent for repair. I was not advised to remove any accessories. However, I asked if I could include some accessories on the phone. They said it shouldn't be a problem. They ended up stealing my accessories and never returned the items. They did not repair the PC. They just deleted all my drivers. I sent it back to get it fixed, but they do not know where it is. They did not know because they created two labels, and they lost track of the one they created for me. I called them and spoke to a supervisor, Employee ID 472118. She was horrible, did not want to help, lied, and said that they had my PC when she didn't care about my accessories because they lost it, and it was not their problem.

Claimed loss: $2,000

Desired outcome: My stuff back my keyboard cover and my PC

Lenovo Lenovo ideapad flex 5

My computer shut down on its own and would not turn back on. I called customer support and it was still under warranty so they fixed it and sent it back, claiming that I had a faulty motherboard which was replaced. 34 days later it has shut off again and will not turn back on (although it is charging fine). I called support and they said there's nothing they can do because the 30 day window has closed from the time it was repaired. I'm extremely disappointed with the product and the customer service I received. It was clearly not repaired correctly, or else this would not happen again a month following the repair. The 1year warranty just expired so I am left without a computer. Has they properly fixed it during the repair, I would not be in this problem.

Would not recommend this product to anyone.

Claimed loss: $450

Desired outcome: Properly fix my computer or send me one that isn't faulty like this one was.

Lenovo - Ridiculously bad customer service

I purchased several items from the Lenovo US website on Oct 29 2023, a Yoga laptop, webcam, external drive and a monitor. This complaint concerns the monitor only. I received the monitor on Nov 1 and never even had the chance to try it out because it was impossible to set the monitor up. The monitor arrives out of the box in three pieces: the monitor...

Lenovo tab m10 plus 3rd gen (tb125fu, tab128fu, tb128xu)/moto tab g62

I bought directly from www.Lenovo.com my tablet in November 2023 and it was delivered in December 2023. Since then, I've been in contact many times with Lenovo and their official parts supplier ENCOMPASS to obtain additional SD Card Trays (5M88C21031 or 5M88C21032). They do not have, stock, or know if they will ever have these parts; inspite of the fact these are very commonly needed replacement parts. The SD Card Trays are plastic and easily damaged or broken. They've recommended I look on line for the parts - but they are not available from any other dealer. I like the tablet, but this is not acceptable.

Desired outcome: Obtain the SD Card Trays.

Lenovo service

I sent in 2 laptops to be repaired. One they told me was not under warranty. I just bought it this year, I submitted the receipt. They said they would fix it. I received it back unrepaired and in worse shape then before. The other laptop they lost. I received an email stated they received it and it is in for repair. Now it was wiped off the internet and disappeared. This is unacceptable.

Desired outcome: I would like my laptops back 2 of them.

Lenovo Legion slim 7 gen 6 laptop

The Lenovo website stated that it comes with Windows 11 Pro operating system but upon receiving the laptop, it is Windows 10 Home with the option to upgrade it to Windows 11 Home. I called Lenovo's tech support and they confirmed that the computer comes with Windows 10 Home though the website clearly states that it has Windows 11 Pro as the operating system. My order number is: [protected].

Desired outcome: Windows 11 Pro serial key or a discount on the purchase for providing false advertisement. The operating system is part of the reason why I decided to purchase this laptop.

Lenovo Lenovo ideapad 3.

I purchased this laptop for my son and paid extra for the premium care warranty that states they will send someone out to your home for repairs. About 2 weeks ago he turned it off and went to bed for the night. The next morning he went to start it and he received a blue repair/recovery screen. No matter what I entered or selected it always came back to the same screen. We restarted it several times and nothing would fix it. I called customer service and they walked me through several possible repairs, but nothing would fix it. They asked me to download a recover USB and try to reinstall the image. Did that nothing worked. They said they would call me back in 4 hours to confirm it fixed it, but I never received the call. Instead received an email stating we tried to call, but couldn't reach you". I called them back the next day and informed them the downloaded repair tool didn't work. The customer service agent said they would send me a USB with the software just to be sure. Received the USB device two days later and again ran it though the PC as instructed and again it did not work. I called them back and they said they would send me a box to send the laptop into a depot for repairs. I asked about the onsite repairs that came with the premium care warranty and the customer service agent said they can't do that because they don't know what's wrong with it. (Isn't that what the onsite technician is supposed to determine?) I asked to speak to a supervisor and after 30 minutes of haggling back and forth with the customer service agent he finally said he would have a supervisor call me back. He told me that the company will sell you a premium care warranty, but that doesn't mean they will send someone to your house for repairs. Still have not had my son's laptop repaired.

Desired outcome: I simply want my son's laptop repaired. He is austic and I can not afford to buy him a new one. I paid extra for premium care warranty and would expect to get what I paid for.

Lenovo Aio desktop warranty

I purchased 3 computers for our company, all the same new 2019. March of 2020 my computer stopped working - motherboard crapped out. Shipped it in and was told can’t get parts, don’t know when or if it will return. Well months later comes back in the mail- worked ok but always had problem of any updates thru the past 2 years. Windows 11 comes and once again no way to update. Decided to see a local computer specialist and found out in my 6 month old computer they replaced the motherboard with a 10 year outdated motherboard and felt that was sufficient. Had I known that at the time I would have never accepted it. I called today and basically getting the runaround - it’s out of warranty and old, nothing we can do. How about when it was under warranty why didn’t you replace it with a new computer and not give me shoddy equipment and pass it off as well it’s working. I paid 2599.00. I got 12$ service. I am completely aware that 2020 and 2021 was a time where parts were unavailable, but it was under full warranty and I should have been given new not old. I am dying to know if anyone has a fix for this problem or I just verbally trash Lenovo from now until the end of time. Trust me- never again as far as I’m concerned. Lenovo warranty, service and computers are the worst.

Desired outcome: Replace with new computer as they should have done in the beginning or fix mine with current motherboard not older motherboard

Lenovo Lenovo Customer Service: A Terrible Experience with a Robber Company

Lenovo (or Lenovo customer service) is a company that I had a terrible experience with. Around 9 months ago, I decided to purchase a Lenovo idealpad online with split payments from 1) a gift card from Lenovo and 2) a credit card. The very next day, I saw that the online price had dropped by $200. I decided to cancel my order and repurchase it at the lower price. When I tried to cancel, the website showed a very friendly message that said "we will match you the price difference?" (I should have known better than to trust this!) I called Lenovo and got the same answer, "the matching REFUND will go back to my original purchasing credit card." I trusted Lenovo at that time, but unfortunately, I did not see the matched refund within the next several weeks on my credit card. I called Lenovo again and was told that the refund was sent to my gift card (which was issued by Lenovo). The problem was that I didn't have the gift card information, which meant that the refund was blind to me. I called Lenovo again and again, and eventually, a manager made that refund as rewards points to my online rewards account (they did not want to refund to my credit card). I thought that the rewards points were my money and that I would be able to use them later. However, 6 months later, the rewards $200 had totally disappeared. I was very sad and spent a lot of time talking to customer service back and forth many times, including their manager, but eventually, the answer was "they can apply the $200 points to a new purchase next time, and they can only apply rewards points for machines, PCs, and desktop computers, and the rewards will apply 30 days from the invoice date?" Do I trust these guys? They want to cheat me to buy more Lenovo, and who knows what will happen next. Lenovo is a robber.

Lenovo Lenovo Laptop Hinge Failure: No Warranty Coverage for Manufacturing Defects

I bought a Lenovo laptop (Flex 5 15.6" 2-in-1 Touchscreen Laptop ? 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 - GeForce MX450 - 4K) from Costco on July 26,2022. I didn't get an extended warranty because I thought it would be a waste of money. However, on Jan. 12,2023, when I opened the laptop to use it, the plastic holding the hinge screws shattered, and the hinge pulled out on one side. The other side was also cracked but had not completely failed yet. I was surprised because I had only used the laptop lightly and had not dropped or abused it in any way.

I took the laptop to a Best Buy technician for an assessment, and he believed it to be a manufacturing defect or poor design. He estimated that the screen and hinge would have to be replaced by a Lenovo technician, with parts alone costing at least $400. I contacted Lenovo regarding the warranty since it was within 12 months of purchase. However, I was informed that the basic warranty I had did not cover any physical damage whatsoever, regardless of whether it was due to a manufacturing defect or user damage.

I was disappointed to hear this because I thought that Lenovo would take responsibility for their design or manufacturing defect. However, they didn't offer any assistance other than a billable repair for a machine that failed due to their design or manufacturing defect. I felt like the machine I bought was trash less than 12 months after purchase, and instead of repairing it, I would be better off putting the money toward a better quality one from another manufacturer.

I would never recommend Lenovo or purchase anything from them again. It's incomprehensible to me that they wouldn't offer any assistance other than a billable repair for a machine that failed due to their design or manufacturing defect. I think that Lenovo should take responsibility for their design or manufacturing defect and offer some assistance to their customers.

Lenovo Lenovo's Customer Service is a Joke - Terrible Experience with Price Match

Lenovo is a great place to buy computers, but their customer service is a joke. I had a terrible experience with them when I tried to get a price match processed. I spent about 2 hours on the phone with them, and still couldn't get it processed. The first 5 minutes of the call were difficult because several other people were yelling on their end of the phone about something else. It was such a bad experience that I'm returning the two laptops I ordered from them.

I was hoping to save them money and the world gas from having to return the item they sent me and have a new one come at a lower price. They advertise a simple 30 day price match and protection, but I'm convinced they put low skilled employees in place to process it to limit people using that protection. I called them, but I was talking or waiting for 2 hours without any resolution in sight. I was on hold for 5-10 times over the next 50-60 minutes, rarely ever properly communicating what she was doing. Eventually, I had to hang up on the CS person after waiting 40 minutes to talk to them and a Jyoti Sharma putting me on hold.

I'm shocked to read reviews saying the sales experience was solid. If how they operated with me on a non-tech issue is indicative, I would 100% believe the torrid comments people say about their inability to address real customer service issues. I hope they can improve their customer service so that people can have a better experience with them.

Lenovo Lenovo's Customer Service Practices: A Cautionary Tale

I recently had an experience with Lenovo that has left me feeling quite disappointed. I have been a loyal customer of theirs for some time now, but after this last encounter, I am not sure if I can trust them again. The issue was not with the product itself, but rather with their customer service. I found that each time I spoke with someone, I was given a different story, and some of the emails I received were quite aggressive in nature.

I had purchased a desktop from the UK site, and paid the VAT as it was clearly itemised on the bill. However, I was surprised to find out that it was being shipped from the Netherlands, and I had to pay import tax to UPS. This was not mentioned on their website, and I was quite frustrated by this. When I contacted Lenovo, they told me it was an error by UPS and that they would sort it out. A week later, they told me that it was still an error by UPS, but if I paid the tax, they would sort it out and refund me.

I then requested that the order be cancelled, and was told that it had been cancelled and that the refund would be in my account within 5-7 days. However, when I checked my account, there was no refund. When I contacted Lenovo again, they told me that the order had not been cancelled, but rather a request to cancel had been submitted. They had decided not to cancel the order without informing me, and were still arguing with UPS.

At this point, I contacted my bank, and they said they would deal with Lenovo and get me my refund. Suddenly, two days later, Lenovo told me that they had sorted out the issue with UPS, and that my desktop would be delivered. I had already ordered another desktop assuming that the first one had been cancelled. Lenovo told me that they could not cancel the order, and I was quite frustrated by this.

I then contacted UPS and told them to return the desktop to sender, as I would not accept it. Lenovo then told me that it had been returned to them, and asked if they could arrange a redelivery. Finally, they told me that I could have my refund, but only if I stopped my complaint with the bank, as the bank would not accept the refund while my complaint was in place. I was quite upset by this, and felt like they were trying to bully me into accepting their terms.

In the end, I was able to get my refund without removing my complaint with the bank, but it was a frustrating and stressful experience. I would caution anyone considering purchasing from Lenovo to be aware of their customer service practices, and to proceed with caution.

Lenovo Lenovo Laptops: A Waste of Money and Time - A Review

I recently bought two laptops from Lenovo in 2021. One of them was a ThinkPad T14 with top-notch specs, which I technically ordered in 2020 but didn't receive until 2021. The other was an IdeaPad 5 with decent specs.

At first, I was excited to use the T14, but I quickly grew to hate it. Despite having incredible specs, it didn't perform nearly as well as the IdeaPad 5. To make matters worse, the T14 started overheating so badly that the fan often didn't come on, and when it did, it made an unbearable noise. This made it impossible to have video chats or calls, and people couldn't sleep with it on. I was lucky enough to put in a ticket just before the warranty expired, but I'm not sure if it will be honored due to mail delays. If they don't fix it, it will only be a matter of time before it becomes a useless brick. It's unacceptable for a laptop that costs over $1000 (I paid almost $1500 with a Black Friday sale) to become an overheated, noisy brick within a year.

The IdeaPad 5 was okay for the specs, but it also got hot and didn't cool down well. However, since it had a wider base and a thinner body, I could keep it from overheating. Unfortunately, after the warranty expired, a piece fell off the screen on the bottom, and I couldn't get it back on. Over the course of a week, the screen began to pull away from the body, even though I was very careful. Today, the screen connections literally fell apart from the body. I don't have another laptop, and I can't afford to get it repaired since the Lenovo warranty is out. I gave Lenovo all the money I had, and now I have a useless piece of junk.

I've bought many laptops in my life, including used ones from pawn shops. While I've had laptops that I both love and hate, I've never had one literally fall apart in my hands. This thing is actually falling apart, and I have to prop the screen up against a box of soymilk or other things just to keep it together. Soon, it will be completely useless.

In conclusion, I will never buy from Lenovo again, and I strongly recommend that you don't either unless you enjoy throwing your money away on disposable laptops.
