We ordered a $1K bed for my daughter on this website promising 7-10 days shipment. After 1 month we still do not have the product! When we call to get a status, there is a 31-38 min wait for customer service (clearly other people are having similar issues). I called my sales rep Jennifer back to complain and she hung up on me! We are calling our credit card company tomorrow to cancel the charge. Buyer beware!!! Do not purchase from this merchant!...

I ordered a chair from CYMAX. a recliner. it came while I was gone and a friend let them in. I came back from
vacation and didn't like the chair. nothing wrong with it..it just was uncomfortable. The man i spoke with at cymax had
told me that i could return it if i didn't like it or any thing was wrong with it. YEAH right. you can return it and get approximately 25% of your money back. Sells items that are either not as described or damaged. The customer service 866# is a major waste of time as they generally give you an e-mail address to customer service and tell you you need to open a case via e-mail. They make you send the item back - AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE, for their problem, such as damaged goods or an item not exactly as described. They try and shift blame onto the manufacturer. And some of this stuff is very heavy and costly to have to ship back at your own expense.
They take several weeks to respond to just 1 e-mail, and their e-mail responses and chains are generally...

I ordered and paid for (2) nightstand from Cymax Store 8 weeks ago, only received one. Called--emailed--called... Finally got a reorder only to have it set (in) processing for 4 of the last 8 weeks. To protect myself I filed a dispute with PayPal, more to get there attention then to stop the transaction. It didn't work they cancelled the order, now it's a fight to get my money back and I STILL WANT THE NIGHTSTAND?? All they had to do was ship the thing, I can't understand it! All this has cost time and money....

I received a defective bed from this company mere than 6 months ago..

They finely picked up the bed six weeks ago/. I still have not received my refund and now they tell me they don't have the info to do a refund?.

I was given a phone number to call to discuss my refund.. I have called the number and held as long as 45 minutes and no one ever answered?.

I heve contacted Cymax by email more then 40 times/. I've made more then 31 phone calls and 5 faxes to Cymax;. I have contacted the Attorney General of there state to report this unbeivealbe...

I ordered a fire place one month ago. It arrived damaged and immediately notified them by email and phone calls. After many phone calls and emails, they have not been able to solve this issue demonstrating absolute incompetence. I ordered 5 custom bar stools that were never shipped. After weeks and repeated phone calls Cymax stated they might have an accounting issue or there was a production slow down at the manufacturer and wanted to refund my money.

I phoned the manufacture of the stools and they suggested I cancel the Cymax order and go through CSN. I found out that Cymax more than likely underpriced the stools and didn't want to honor their price - not enough profit.

Of course I ended up having to pay a higher price because the Cymax sale was over. Crappy company that can't tell...

Sent me a tiny recliner & I refused shipment then they held it up so I could not get credit from Bill Me Later & now they are telling me they are charging me for shipping which was free then a restocking fee & shipping back to them so my credit goes from $489 down to $143. Save yourself some sanity and do not order from this store. We made a large order on Jan. 1/11 for baby furniture. We made the order because the website (Lusso Baby - one of Cymax Stores websites they hide behind) stated that the items were "in stock". I purchased a bed through Sears and what I received was not what was in the picture. The package came opened and banged up. It was supposed to be agift. Now cymax is saying that I have to pay to to ship it and a 25% restocking fee. Cymax is a rip off. i will never do business with them or Sears again. They say the bed has to be damaged in order to not be charged the 25 % but the package also must not be opened according to the store. Who is playing whom? This is a joke....

I ordered two Amisco bar stools from cymax's morebarstools.com. The product that arrived was significantly different than the picture and website description. The product was missing key pieces that render the product unsafe and unusable. The product was poorly built with broken weld.

This company charges your credit card immediately upon ordering EVEN IF THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PRODUCT AVAILABLE. Over the first week after charging my account, they replied to my inquirys (1) temporary shipping delay due to weather, (2) backordered until end of next month, (3) manufacturer discontinued so order cancelled. I tried to order a table from Cymax. Great price, free shipping right? Wrong. First, they claimed to have the table in stock. Then I get an email saying the table won't be delivered for 30 days. Then I get an email saying the table was discontinued by the manufacturer & my order was probably cancelled but not for sure til I get confirmation within 48 hrs. Four days later(I have not received confirmation) I call and they tell me it will be another 48 hours to receive confirmation and that if I don't wait to get confirmation that I will be responsible for the table in the event that it ships....

I ordered a headboard for Christmas and they only shipped one box of the two box shipment. I have called several times and get the run around. The tracking on the shipment clearly says it was undelivered by fed ex. They refuse to refund or send me the missing piece because they say fed ex did ship it. I have never dealt with a company with such poor customer service as this one. All get is they are looking into it and then today they say it must have been delivered and stolen from my house before I got it. What a joke they are....

Never ever buy anything from the website cymax.com... they are a bunch of scammers.

Here's the deal-- I was trying to buy a double stroller from them on Friday evening. I had entered all my shipping and billing info, but when I clicked the "submit order" button, a notice appeared, saying "an error has occurred, please try again". I ordered two black bean bags for my kids for Christmas. I did not receive any order confirmation or shipping information even though the my card was charged. My neighbor comes to tell me a random lady found our package in the middle of the highway. She picked up the boxes and brought them to our house.
