Conn's Home Plus Upset customer

I was 3 days late on my 2nd payment. They threatened to put me in collections & asked me when, where, & what time I was going to pay. I told the representative that I just overlooked the payment because the account was new. She still was being nasty about it so It just hung up on her & paid my account online. Very rude customer service. I will never buy or recommend them to anyone.

Conn's Home Plus Listen Closely: RE: Insurance Issue and The Addition of Thousands in Interest if not paid on time!

My Friends
I want you to know that if you are approved for The Conns "Home Plus Financing" you get approved, given the CASH OPTION, you will need to make sure that you do two things

1. Make the monthly payment by (before the due date every single month. I would NEVER accept this account unless I set up auto-pay, which I did. Failure to pay or even missing a payment by one day will result in a retroactive charge of interest (4000 on a 5500 account)

2. Call Conns at the beginning and tell them to NEVER CONTACT YOU, you are a grown adult and you do not need reminder calls. Having a payment of 270.00 and having my bank pay 150.00 every two weeks resolved this issue.

3 Now, when you look at your credit report it will show a balance that ASSUMING THAT YOU WILL NOT PAY ON TIME, so in my case, I used 5500 but the balance on my report is almost 9000.

4. This company is assuming that you will fail to pay. In the beginning, they will DEMAND that you purchase INSURANCE. This is where you pull out a copy of your Home Owner's or Renter's Police and REFUSE to buy their policy.

If you follow my instructions, you will be ok. If you deviate in the slightest, you will be charged THOUSANDS EXTRA.

Conn's Home Plus Poor customer service

I went to my local Conn's store in Raleigh NC to price a French door refrigerator. After speaking t o a sales representative I decided to buy a open box clearance refrigerator. I was Quoted a price of $1100.00. I accepted and did a credit application for the purchase, for which I was approved. The store manager then came to tell me that I could not buy it for that price, it would be $1599.99 instead. I told him I had my credit report processed for $1100.00 purchase not $1599.99. He then told me the price was a mistake. Store manager had no regards for my credit report being pulled. So I have to now go to another store and due another inquiry on my credit report. Be careful at Conn's.

Conn's Home Plus Disappointed

Be careful shopping there, they have good personality at the time of he sell but as soon as you buy your furniture they don't care what so ever, bought a sofa sets which after 3 deliveries sofa was dameged had to return it & they also dameged our home entry door at the time of a delivery, still waiting for the managers to take the furnitures back & give my money with repairs of our door.
No more trust or respect, lost my trust on their costumer care and promises, so sad so disappointed, so angry, so frustrated. They are very disrespectful to their costumer, will never ever buy or shop there any more.
Our Review is big zero unless they stand for their words & promises to give at least my money back & fix our door.

Conn's Home Plus Do not buy from them

February 2021

I purchased a Samsung Washer and Dryer Set along with the pedestals and had extended warranty on both items.
The Washer started making a loud noise. It would beat and bang when the clothes would wash.
December 02,2021, I had repair come out. They had to replace washer because of a issue it had with the balance. The repair man said it was okay to use the old washer until the new washer was brought out. (this caused black hard stuff to crumble from the inside all over the floor, and it scratched the flooring)
Now, this washer has a Known defect and they are aware of this. The second washer is still under the same numbers and date of this known defect. Not acceptable.

The New Washer was brought out in December 14 2021. When the delivery guys was there. They scratched to floor getting the old one out as the washer had trash under it from the washer parts breaking while using it.

The new washer came on December 14,2021. The guys never balanced it. The door on the Unit was so loose. I called the company and they sent the Delivery Manger out to look at the door, not a repair man. In the email, it stated that a DELIVERY was on its way. I assumed they were bringing a new one. As it was Christmas time, I had moved all my items out of the way for the DELIVERY. But NO delivery was with him, As it was the Delivery Manager alone. He stated he would have to send a Repair man out to look at the item. And stated that Conn's would call me. A MONTH later, I still had NOT had a call from them to schedule a repair. I assumed they were being delayed as it was Christmas and New Years.
I waited for the call and never got it.

On January 15,2021
I tried to leave a review on the Conn's site and it stated it was unable to publish my review due to Containing Personal information. It was not a good review.

Again, I called the Conn's number.

On February 22,2022.
A repair man came out, (Dean), stated the DOOR is suppose to be that loose. The bolts will not tighten up and the latch is wiggling.
Now, my previous washer, the door never wiggled or moved. There is NO WAY this door is supposed to be loose like this, as it will leak being a FRONT LOADER.
He said he leveled the washer, which was not level to begin with from delivery. He stated, he ran a cycle, but there was NO weight in the washer at the time. When a load of clothes is in the washer, it makes the loudest noise.
I was unhappy with his response.
I received a email asking for a survey on the repair. I replied with a Negative Review. I never got any call from anyone on this review. As the email said, someone would contact me.

I called Conn's again for another service repair to come out as I was not happy with the previous repair man.
Every time I wash any type of load, The Washing Machine Shakes my Whole house. It Causes my Cabinet in the Kitchen which is in another room to vibrate my dishes. Just waiting on them to break and fall over from this is unacceptable as well.
And the Washer makes a load noise, The Door shakes and vibrates and The Washing Machine Vibrated out of my Closet into the hall. This is very unacceptable.

I had Jamie come out at this time. He stated it was the cause of the balancing thing as well that happened to the first washer. He was very polite and helpful. Stated He would try to get this resolved for us.

I had a repair appointment call on 3/15/2022. It was Dean, I canceled the appointment, as I did not want this man to come out as I was not happy with his first response.

I received some parts in the mail. Had no clue as to what they were. Never was told anything on this.
I had Jamie come out again on 3/16/2022, I refused to let him put the replacement parts in the unit.
There was NO replacement part of any mention of the Door being Loose.
The reason for my 1st call was because the door being loose.

I had Paid for a BRAND NEW washer and dryer. I DID NOT pay for replacement parts washer.
This 2nd Washer has the same problem that the first washer had.
I am Not satisfied with the results.

I have tried to call corporate but I keep getting the same people. OH, you have to schedule a repair.
I want them to come get this Washer and Dryer Set, return my money that I have paid. As, this is Junk.

Having to call for a repair is ridiculous in itself. You go thru 3 different people, they all ask you the same questions and then they ask you what the reason for calling. So you have to repeat yourself over and over.

Having to call for repair on the same item more than 5 times is ridiculous. And The ISSUE IS STILL NOT FIXED.

I purchased a Freezer from Conn's and have had no problem.
But the Washer is having the same issues over and over.

My payment is due on 3/17/2022, and I do not think I will be making a Payment on this until the Issue is resolved.

This will be my last purchase from Conn's.

Conn's Home Plus Financing

We purchased items from Conn's in October 2022 with 12 months interest free financing. We DO NOT have access to see the details of the account. Because of this, we missed the end date of the interest free financing. The payoff was $1552.01. Now, because 29% interest has been added, the payoff is $3300. We have asked Conn's for total access to the account and their answer was " we are working on that". All you can do is make a payment online. You cannot see the due date, balance, payments made, all the things needed to manage an account effectively. We were told we could "request the documents at any time". Why should we have to request the documents. When we did try to contact Conn's we were on hold for EXTENDED periods of time. One time for over and hour and no one ever picked up.

We have asked Conn's to "work with us" and come up with solution that would be acceptable to both of us. Their answer is flat "NO"! You missed the date, you pay!

Claimed loss: $1500 in interest

Desired outcome: Pay the amount due at the end of the interest free period or some amount slightly more.The ability to see the ENTIRE account details. NOT just make a payment.

Conn's Home Plus bed insurance

I recently bought a bed in the College Station, Tx. store. Conn's own insurance was added and not mentioned to me. After I found about this, I told the clerk that i have home insurance and did not need Conn's. I submitted the declaration page (twice) where I prove that this insurance should be removed and this will change my balance. So far, no change. I have not been informed as to why the change has not been done.

Conn's Home Plus payment not received

your customer service agents and your collection dept are telling me my payment for September was not paid so they took my october payment and applied it to my september payment and charged me a late fee for not paying october payment i have my bank statment showing conns was paid in september 9/5/23 for both accounts and for october payment was paid in the conns store , i have dicussed the problem with you customer service more than 5 times i have sent 4 emails with my statement attached , if you are implying that the bank is lieing about this payment or any if there is any further disgreement about this matter the investigator will contact your company

I just received a letter that you will not exchange my mattress. We are not 100% satisfied with the product. Conn's Home Plus Incorrect delivery

July 24,2023 I purchased a mattress at Conn's in Harlingen, Texas. The wrong mattress was delivered due to an invoice mix up caused by the salesperson. Nothing and I mean nothing will get Conn's to rectify the problem. I'm stuck with a mattress I did not order and cannot use. Conn's customer service is a joke. Also Conn's shared my personnel information with credit agencies without my authorization. My advice is do not shop at Conn's.

Hello I want to inform you of a consistent problem my payment is due on the 20th of the month not 10 days late! If I’m one To two days late they blow my phone up. I’ve even told them I was got to be a little late because of a hard ship I have , but they totally ignored it and keep calling even on SUNDAY! I hate that I ever bought anything from them it’s annoying I told them when I would Noah but obviously they are ignoring it and constantly call all day every day. Conn's Home Plus carpet sales

I purchase this carpet two years ago , the day it was installed i called the store and was complained this was not the carpert I had ordered. I was told i had to pay the restocking fee that was ridiculous. In the mean time I have had COVID, loss my brother and treatmed for major depression. The carpet is a cheaper grade, and Identical to carpet that was removed. I still owe on this carpert and I want someone to look at this cheap mess.

Conn's Home Plus They continue to harass me

I have used conns about a year and never have been late on a payment until now and I have notified them that I was recently out of work. They disregard every form of communication given. I have told them I would make payments when I am paid. They have put me in collections saying that I have not made payment when I have made payment of 60.00 on August 5. I specified that I would begin to pay the rest when I was paid. But however conns has constantly harassed me which is illegal as well as robocalls are illegal. They have called my family members and my contacts which again is illegal. These things can be pentilized and awarded to me for each call made. They have made 10 calls each day under various numbers. They do not call during the hours it is subjected to. I have reported them 2. And I have reported them also for my credit to recity issues of harassment and robocalls.

On July 6,2023 Conns delivery TEAM delivered my furniture FIRST to not put no appliances UP after me complaining a WEEK they sent team members back out for them to bring the WRONG SCREWS to one of my twins size beds!they also delivered me a washer,dryer (stacker) that DOES NOT WORK at all!Then after they returned for the THIRD time they put the Twin bed up but still left the washer,dryer (stacker) undone and when asked about it I was told that they couldn't return it to call the store but the problem still hadn't been resolved
