CLAIM YOUR GAS claim vouchers

I attended a real estate presentation in Tennessee. Was given a voucher for $300.00 in free gas through ClaimYourGas. I registered through their website and was given an ID number and then told to call to get a user name and password to download vouchers for redemption. The number is not valid. I have emailed 3 times and tried to call another customer service number and have had no response after trying for 3 weeks. I believe it all to be a scam.

CLAIM YOUR GAS Non-receipt of rebate cards

I purchased furniture from Sofa Super Store in Charleston, SC in December 2008 and received 2 vouchers. One for Claim your Gas in the amount of $500 and one for Claim your Groceries in the amount of $500. I have mailed in seven months worth of receipts for both the gas and the groceries and have received only one gift card. I emailed the company numerous times only to be given the same song and dance routine...oh we are so sorry for the delay, we'll get them right out to you. Ya, Ya, Ya. Never happened.

CLAIM YOUR GAS Gas rebates

I purchased a living room set from Discount Quality Furniture and was told I would get rebates up to $500.00 in $25.00 per month increments for every $100.00 in gas I spent. I've submitted all receipts like I'm supposed to and have yet to get a single rebate. Today I went to open up the page to get the certificate for july and there's some legal shmegal jargon about a bankruptcy filing? I've passed by gas stations with lower gas prices and driven out of my way just to get gas at the station I selected just so I could get the receipt for this program! You shouldn't be able to just file bankruptcy and not honor prior commitments.

BBZ Resource Management, Inc. announced today that it has filed for Chapter 11 reorganization in order to preserve the value of its business for its creditors. BBZ also announced that immediately prior to its Chapter 11 filing, it entered into a new strategic relationship in order to preserve and maximize the value of its data mining business for the benefit of its creditors, business partners and other stakeholders.
BBZ’s historical business involved both the sale of rebate certificates and the accumulation and use of consumer data. Recent events surrounding BBZ’s rebate certificate business necessitated BBZ’s Chapter 11 filing. Early in 2009, BBZ entered into a 15-year contract with Kidz Idz, Inc. to purchase $345 million of rebate certificates from BBZ. Relying upon that contract, BBZ entered into a long-term lease for a new fulfillment facility and hired new employees to deal with the exploding demand for the rebate certificates that BBZ sold. Rather than honor that contract, however, Kidz Idz and Mr. Pouls not only breached their obligations but also undertook what BBZ believes to be concerted campaign to co-opt the rebate certificate business and destroy BBZ. This effort culminated with the Pouls Parties filing a lawsuit on Thursday, June 25, 2009 falsely asserting that BBZ’s business is a fraudulent “Ponzi” scheme. Ironically, that same day BBZ was working with outside counsel to prepare its own lawsuit against the Pouls Parties asserting their breaches of contract and other wrongful conduct.
The damage to BBZ’s rebate certificate business from the Pouls Parties’ conduct made it imperative that BBZ act to protect its consumer data mining business for the benefit of its creditors, business partners and other stakeholders. Accordingly, BBZ has entered into a contract with an industry leader to take that business forward in exchange for BBZ receiving a share of the business’s revenues. This new relationship will form the foundation of BBZ’s anticipated Chapter 11 plan of reorganization.
In the meantime, BBZ has suspended sales, activations, and redemption of rebate certificates, as well as gift card distribution. Consumers awaiting gift cards or holding certificates are encouraged not to contact the businesses or brokers that sold or gave away the certificates, as suspension of this program is beyond their control. BBZ is committed to honoring its obligations and will be working diligently with its outside professionals in the Chapter 11 process to maximize the return to its creditors.

CLAIM YOUR GAS not reaceiving gas cards-vouchers

We bought 2 TV's last Sept.(08) at Legacy Rooms Express because they were offering a $500 Gas Vouchres. We signed up and sent in vouchers with gas receipts for 5 months to a place in Florida. That ended up being a scam and they (the company) is in a lawsuit with the AG of Florida. We complained(in March, 09) to the furniture store and they gave us another gas voucher for a company in AZ(Claim your Gas). We have sent in vouchers with $100 gas receipts for April, May and June. We have not received any gas cards. They sent us an e-mail in May stating our April receipts were not all from the same type of gas. I e-mailed them 5 times telling them I only buy one kind of gas(Chevron) and they needed to take a second look. I also asked them to send me copies of the receipts so I can see. They have not returned any e-mails. I have an idea this company is just like the other company in Florida. We are seriously considering going back to the furniture store and demanding $500 credit. We wouldn't of bought the TV's from them If they had not offered the gas credit.

There are a lot of other threads on this website with many complaints against claimyourgas.com and claimyourgroceries.com. The company that runs those programs filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on July 1, 2009 - you are not going to receive any gift cards and you will not receive anything from this company, no matter what you do. They are protected from their debts by federal law, now - that's why they filed chapter 11. What you CAN and SHOULD do is send written letters to the companies or stores who gave you the vouchers. Always put your complaints in writing. Get a delivery confirmation from the post office so you have proof your letter was delivered. Give the store/company 30 calendar days to give you a solution to this dilemma - tell them in your letter that you will NOT accept anymore of these worthless vouchers. By law, if you purchased any goods from a company because they PROMISED you something in return, they are liable to keep that promise. If they don't come up with a REAL gift card for the voucher's worth - or give you a credit on your bill for the voucher's worth - then you have a small claims case that will definitely win in court. Don't let the stores tell you it's your problem or it's not their fault. Legally, they are liable to keep the promise they made to you when you bought your cars or furniture. Fight back! Write your letters, give them 30 days to comply, and then file a small claims case. It seems like a lot of effort but it's probably the only way any of us will be compensated for the loss.

I too have sent in my receipts since February without anything more than the confirmation email saying everything was received. I just contacted the company from which I made my purchase and they daid that the Claimyourgas company was going BK. They gave me a number to call which had been disconnected. I called the Air conditioning Company back and told them I wanted $300 refunded to me. I said they used this Gas Card as an advertising device to earn my business, and they should stand behind it. If I get no satisfaction, next stop the BBB. This AC company is very proud of their BBB report, and I will do everything in my power to blemish it if I do not get satifaction.

I too had the same problem, purchased a high end Mitsubishi TV thinking that I was going to get 600.00 in gift cards.
I sent my gas receipts to florida for 4 months and then was notified to start sending to Mesa AZ and now the same thing.
Claimyourgas.com has filed for chapter 11, I would like to go after these people that are scamming us.

This rebate was a the reason I purchased the tv.

I sent in a voucher in April, May, June and July . I have called the number and sent email's and a letter to company because I jumped through their hoops to receive gas vouchers and never received 100.00 gas cards! Or even a response back would have been nice but nothing I believe this company is not on the up and up and it is a scam!

CLAIM YOUR GAS Not receiving promised gas cards

I received a $500 gas voucher from a furniture store purchase from Ashley Furniture. This gas voucher company failed and was called Free Gas operated by Tidewater Marketing. I filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General. To try and compensate when I complained to Ashley Furniture, instead of correcting their part in the scam, they organized another gas fulfillment company to take over. HA! Claim Your Gas.com has not provided any gas gift card and I sent the first one in April 2009. I also received a "free vacation" from the MDA Group, Inc. in Clearwater, Fl for my troubles. HA! This company required that I pay a $100 refundable activation fee to be eligible. What a joke! I did not send any money. Don't waste your time on these scams. Save your time and frustration and buy your own gas.

Infinity Travel gave me $300.00 coupons for free gas as well as 4 airline tickets (alledgely) if I went to theri 90 minute presentation. Yes is was claimyourgas.com and we have purchased Shell Gas and mailed in $100.00 of purchases like good little drone ants with the anticipation of receiving $25.00 of cash or equalivent each month. This started in April, 2009. We have received nothing. Now, I hear that they have filed Chapter 11 Bankrupcy.

Certs, Inc. is the company backing up the air travel and they are suspect as well. We have yet to enjoy anything.

I am glad we did not fall for Infinity Travel, they probably are fradulent as well.

I recevied voucher from freegas.com and Claim Your Gas.com. Both have filed bankrupt. Called and made a report at this number: Florida Attorney General fraud hot line at [protected]. They took down a bit of information and then told me to file a complaint at Tidewatermarketing.com. Don't know what will come of that but anything is better than nothing.

I was promised 300 in gas from CLAIM YOUR GAS. COM, only after a time share in Branson, Mo told us they were giving us 300 in gas over the next year, from the time of our visit. We got to branson and after the presentation only then were we told of this other company that we were suppose to send our rebates to. I understand the bankruptcy and ponzi scam but my lawyer informed me the agreement to get us there was between the Branson Company and us and that they have to honor their contract and the Clainyourgas.com Bankruptcy is Bransons problem, The Branson Time Share company is not filing Bankrupt and therfore is still, by the law, obligated to us, who came for the 90 minute presentation, owed our 300 dollars in gas. I would like to hear from others who went to Branson under the same terms so that we may get a class action lawsuit going in order to see justice concerning the terms we made with the Time Share Company and not with ClaimYourGas.com. I too have have sent in my claimyourgas voucher with no results. This is rediculous, companies scamming people out of thier hard earned money. It's companies like BBZ that make the economy worse than it already is. Hey, here's a concept, go out and make an honest living like everyone else. Instead of trying to come up with new scams. If anyone is planning to do something against this company let the victims know what they can do to help.

I have read most all of the complaints and have filed complaints with both the Florida Attn. Gen and the Attn. Gen. in the state where I reside. Nothing has been done. So what are we going to do about it? There must be a way in which all of us that have been defrauded should be able to make a claim against both companies as well as the stores that chose to use them in this "free gas scheme".

I received this ClaimYourGas coupon from Al & Ed's Autosound and I filed for the Month of June but was not able to receive the gift card. When I tried to claim for this month, the web page claimed that the BBZ has claimed Chapter 11. In addition, they state not to contact the bussiness that gave out the vouchers. I can say that I got taken beleiving the bussiness that sold me a product (Al & Ed's Autosound) would be prudent enough not to give out scam promotion to their customers who are spending hundreds and thousands of dollars in their bussiness. I believe these bussinesses should be just as responsible as the scammers.

CLAIM YOUR GAS not receiving vouchers

I signed up for the program in Dec. I should have received some gas vouchers by now but have not. I filled out a form on their website and sent in my complaint in that manner. I had not gotten a response from them in over a week. I found several folks online complaining about this program, and found a customer service number [protected]. I called it and spoke to Karely and she claimed that I would get Visa gift cards in the mail within 7-10 business days. That time period has passed and i still haven't received anything. When I went to call the above number to complain again, it is now just a recording, stating that they handle all customer service online. I guess it's easier for them to ignore the complaints this way rather than dealing with irate callers.

I got involved in this program due to a promotion from the burglar alarm company I chose (ADT). If claim your gas won't honor the terms, then I will go to ADT and tell them that they are on the hook for this, due to promissory estoppel. I think by law they need to step up to the plate here.

By the way, I am also in the claim your groceries program, with the exact same results.

CHECK OUT THE BAD NEWS THAT WE ALL SHOULD HAVE KNOWN WAS COMING
