I DECIDED TO POST HERE MY COMPLAINT BECAUSE AFTER SEVERAL HRS OF SURFING ANY CITIBANK SITE WHERE I MAY FILEMY COMPLAINT, I DIDN'T SEE ANY….I read some of the complaints here againstCitibank credit card... I got almost the same experience sad to say with my Citibank credit card. Just imagine, I've been banking with Metrobank and BDO for several years and I didn't have any problem with my credit. Their bils come on time, I mean their couriers were jsut great and timely. Not with Citibank's cuz after I used their card, it's my 10-11th month I guess paying their bills...

I had a CitiBank credit card for many years which I rarely used. The few times I used it I had problems with CitiBank properly crediting payments on time which resulted in interest and late payment fees which I disputed and I cancelled my CitiBank credit card. After cancelling my credit card, CitiBank continued to charge fees on the disputed amount although the cardholder agreement states that the primary cardholder is not responsible for any fees after the card is cancelled. Subsequently, CitiBank informed the credit rating agencies that I was in default and that they had written-off the charges...

Citibank Credit Card - Ohio - credit protector

I enrolled in a promotional credit card offer from Citicard and specifically DECLINED being enrolled in Credit Protector which is THEIR company. The very next statement there are TWO charges on my card from Credit Protector (!!). These were completely unauthorized charges that citibank put on themselves.
I phoned to cancel and was told it would take TWO billing statements. Pretty suspicious when it's them who put the charges ON the card that THEY own.

This is a very shady company and they should be investigated....

I was the victim of a scam, facilitated through my Citibank credit card which I held for 10+ years. I authorized a $50 charge to my card on a written contract which was altered by the "merchant" by eliminating the decimal point and was charged $5000 instead. The "merchant" turned out to be a known and convicted thief, forger and impersonator with a criminal record and had built a business on similarly scamming others. Today, I could not anymore log in to citibank online. It has been my habit that in any day of the way to check or track anything that goes to my citibank credit card. I've had a Citibank credit card for years. I've always made my payments on time and more than the minimum balance. I signed up for their autodraft program. I went onto my online banking this month to check on my balances and noticed no payment had been drafted? I then had to go back to their website and make a manual payment 8 days after the original draft date. I received my next scheduled bill with a $39 late fee and a raised interest rate to 29%!!! I called them to ask to remove the fee and they denied it 3 days later. I called a second time to get it removed and my interest rate returned...

I had an medical emergency and needed a credit card so i thought Citibank would be the most reliable one. But to my astonishment they are teh most careless bank. I filled the required form with the help of a Citibank agent and attached all the asked documents with some extra to support the speedy processing. This is to inform you that I am facing problems with your collection cell.I have been continuously requesting the concerned persons to send me the detailed statement for my card as i have been paying with due respect but the outstanding amount never stands to nil. So after paying continuously for 3 years i asked for detailed statements but no such requirements were fulfilled inspite there were calls for collection & the staff misbehaved when asked for Details of payments made.

I applied for a citibank credit card. I made my first transaction with the same. The statement for the same was not received by me. The bank leveid charges for late payment. I did make my payment based on the transaction I had made. Citibank now is charging interest for late payment.

When I had contacted Ms.Surekha R of the customer care at citibank,I was not given a favourable response.

Customer care is a farce. It should be re-worded as Company care.

All Citibank customers beware!...

I live in Mumbai, India and was using a Citbank credit card 2 years back. In Jan 2006 I bought a mediclaim policy which I did not get tuill April end. nly when I called them in April about the status that the policy was delivered at my house and that too was wrong. On conveying the same to them they took their own sweet time in responding.

Citibank is one of the most cheater bank in india and Reserve Bank must take note of this. I work in an IT company which has salary accounts with CitiBank. On 1st October 2007 Citibank sent me Indian Oil Credit Card direct on my address. I had never opted for any credit card, neither in written and nor in verbal. Citibank is a damn cheater bank. I would like to bring to everyone's notice, that though a credit card company, when making you a member and sending the card to you, mentions in their covering to sign behind the card for mutual security, it has no validity.

Every since the system of electronic swiping has come into place, no retail outlet bothers to verify your signature. All they are satisfied is if the approval is given, and the receipt is printed.

This is serious, as it encourages fraud. Anyone can sign and make purchases as signature is not verified.

I am writing this email to you with regard to my Citibank Credit Card, I was sent this card without any documents & any information from my end. I did utilize this card for sometime but I never received the pin number for this card & nor did I receive the statements on time.

I have already asked them to send their person & collect the payment but they are not interested in the same, they were doing that in past.
