Chevrolet 2019 Chevrolet Equinox

I have a problem with the equinox. I took it to a Chevrolet dealer because of a problem with the safety restraint system. They diagnosed: replace entire body wiring harness due to water intrusion throughout harness, and replace passenger side front seat harness due to harness being corroded.

I was quoted $9,500. to correct this situation. Not covered by either my Chevrolet Protection Plan nor my comprehensive on my State Farm auto insurance. There is no way I could have foreseen this damage occurring. Am I the only one in captivity that has this problem. Does Chevrolet offer any assistance in this situation CAR only has less than 25,000 miles.

Chevrolet Ticket reference #065. Transmission repair

TICKET REF# 065. Service request date 12/15/23. During routine maintenance, 12/15/23, Voss Chevrolet service depart recommended repairing a transmission leak. After diagnosing the problem, Voss found that the rotor needed to be replaced. However, Voss Chevrolet service depart stated that GM parts service has said inside transmission rotor has been unavailable to complete the transmission repair.

Claimed loss: $500 for car rental while waiting for repair.

Desired outcome: Find part to complete repair. Pay for cost of rental.

Chevrolet 2013 Chevrolet 2.4 equinox

This equinox I purchased in 2013 new from Phillips Chevrolet 02/21/2013.

On 04/04/2017 the timing chain and parts was replaced under the factory warranty. On 05/18/2021 the timing chain was replaced under extended warranty where the complete engine was replaced. On 06/21/2021 the timing belt assembly was replaced again. On 12/01/2023 the timing assembly had to be replaced again.

All of these repairs and oil changes other services was done at Phillips Chevrolet 17730 Torrance,Lansing,IL with 116238 mileage for the last 10 years.

I found out most recently that there was a problem with the parts breaking.

Chevrolet Repair of warrantied battery failing on 2016 chevrolet volt

On October 3rd/2023 dropped my car off at Chevrolet Van Nuys, CA, due to battery not charging. It took two weeks to diagnose the car, diagnosis reported one of the three main batteries was failing. Car has 73,000 miles, the battery is covered under CA emissions warranty. Dealership said Battery was on order, but blamed strike for no delivery date. Car is still at dealership, they offered me a rental car 4 weeks ago, I did not need it at the time. But now I do not know when I will get my car back, I am asking for a loaner or rental. The dealership is now saying they do not give loaners or rentals with this warranty. I complained to GM customer service - the promised 6 days ago to let me know the outcome after they contacted the dealership. I have left messages and still no response.

Claimed loss: Six weeks now without a car, Financial loss of 70 dollars a day for a rental car.

Desired outcome: Fix the car, if GM has no batteries for the Volt, then buy back my volt so I can buy another car. If GM does have a new battery, install it asap, and give me a loaner to use.

Chevrolet Outside door handles

I have a 2009 chevy Silverado and I'm telling you these outer door handles are horrible even after replacing them they do the same thing quickly. They break on the back end of each one and then from there get worse. It's crazy to me how high they are to replace when they ate obviously made of the cheapest material. I feel a recall or reimbursement to those of us dealing with thus. I can't believe cgevy let trucks go lime this, im a huge chevy fan in a house full of Ford men, n have held my own against them fir years, but n this matter, I loose, you loose, the world looses.

Chevrolet Check engine light

I own a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado. I have a check engine light that hasn't been able to be resolved. I love my truck but this issue cannot continue after I have only had it for 3yrs. When can this issue be resolved asap ? I have this had this issue looked at and they put what was said to repair by using grease. The light came back on and still make the fan come on

Chevrolet 2016 Chevrolet Silverado

In August I started having issues with my transmission not properly shifting , shuddering. Took my truck to the local Chevrolet dealer and they informed me that this as been a common problem with this transmission. We left our truck at the dealership to have the transmission replaced. I hope to recuperate the cost of replacing the transmission since this is obviously problem with this transmission in several vehicles.

Chevrolet my new 2022 chevrolet Malibu

i bought a new malibu last year--when it would rain--water would get inside--finally--montgomery Chevrolet found the leak--they had to take my dashboard apart--come to find out--a seal wasn/t installed when the car was built that keeps the water out--they had to order the part from lansing michigan--how can you all sell a new car without all the components installed--this is unacceptable--now i will have to worry about the carpet molding and smelling--the electronic components going bad--i was deceived in believing i was buying a new vehicle--a new vehicle comes with all the parts and components installed--now i will also lose considerable value on the car --it will now be as good as new--when you remove a dash--and have to put it back together--it/s never good as new--i want answers--i would expect this crap from a foreign car--that why i buy American--where/s the quality and craftsmanship--i feel like you all owe me a new car==Thomas Schooler--[protected]

Chevrolet Misrepresentation, Bad customer service and Legal Action

I’ve been trying to reach authorities of Chevrolet Company. I’ve purchased a vehicle and was given an older model in stock. I only drove for one year and the vehicle stopped working. I left the vehicle in the car of the dealership for more than 2 years. They called me to collect the vehicle and all the issues were identified remain. The government of Trinidad and Tobago, consumer affairs are now involved after legal action has been taken. I’m left with getting a US attorney to also battle my matter

Chevrolet Suburban LT

I am looking for 2023 Surburban LT. I just want the base LT model in the sage color. I am in no hurry to purchase and would like to order one if no one has exactly what I want. I look online and I see the LT list price starts at 62,700.

I request quotes and all they want to do is quote me on vehicles they have on their lot. I finally got one to quote me at it was the base Lt for 69,000. I am retired and on fixed income. I am looking to purchase a Suburban to travel. I have the cash to write a check, or I can finance if that would get me a better price. I want to purchase just like i used to when i had company cars. I selected what I wanted and when it came in all I had to do is write a check and sign for it. It's almost like they want to hold on vehicles and sell to the highest bidder and If I do not purchase it someone else will. No incentive to buy from any particular dealer. Salespeople tell me it is a matter of supply and demand. I tell them it is taking advantage of the supply chain problems and I call price gauging. I know people that purchased cars a while back and they owe more than what their car is now worth.

I know the economy will change soon and prices will get more reasonable. Because of the way the deals now do business will cause them to go out of business. Any way is there someone or place I can order a vehicle and get it for close to the 62,700 dollars. Please let me know Thanks for your help in advance

Chevrolet Subject: dissatisfactory experience and poor customer service at [local dealership]

Dear Chevrolet,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Erick Cook, and I have been a loyal customer of your brand for many years. I take pride in owning one of your vehicles - a Tahoe which I purchased on May 2022. Your brand has always stood for quality and excellent customer service, and it is these values that have kept me loyal.

However, regretfully, I write to you today to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your local dealership and a missing chip. Over a year ago, I was informed that my vehicle was missing a chip that was vital for its performance. Despite the long wait, I remained patient, trusting in your commitment to customer satisfaction.

Finally, the chip arrived, and I scheduled an appointment to have it installed at the local dealership. However, upon arrival, I was met with disorganization and a lack of professionalism. The process, which I was initially told would take an hour, turned into four, then hours, and dragged out into the day. We had to pick up the car without the service being completed. The staff seemed indifferent to my predicament, and there was a notable lack of communication about the progress of the installation. I tried calling half a dozen times to get a status update on my Tahoe and was continually rerouted, never reaching a human.

What's more, the behavior of the staff was far from what I expected from your brand. They were dismissive of my concerns, and their rudeness only added to the inconvenience I was already experiencing.

This entire ordeal has not only cost me valuable time but has also caused significant stress and inconvenience. I am disappointed as this does not align with the standards I have come to expect from your esteemed brand.

As a loyal customer who has advocated for your brand in the past, I deserve better treatment. I kindly request compensation for the inconvenience caused by the missing product for more than 14 months and the poor service I received. I am hopeful that you will address this matter promptly and restore my faith in your brand.

Chevrolet Lack of Spare tire.

My husband has a 2018 Malibu Hybrid that I was driving to an appointment today (he had my vehicle). I was on the interstate and my front drivers side tire shredded. This sort of thing happens, I get that. However when we looked for the spare there was none to be found! there was a tire patch kit, but as the tire was shredded that did me no good.

As a result of the lack of spare tire I missed my medical appointment. To say I'm frustrated is an understatement. I like to be independent and I definitely could have changed my own tire had there been a spare. What could have been a 15 minute swap out has now turned into a 3 hour ordeal trying to get the car to a place that can replace the tire.

Desired outcome: Please put spare tires in all your vehicles! It's absolutely ridiculous to not have one in the car.

Chevrolet No help from company

Im not into asking for charity or anything free... but everywhere i look i see that gm stands behind their vehicles and will repair or fix their products... well 4 times now i have come to gm and spoken with someone in customer service and begged for help ... begged for help because i have a vehicle that is not safe, and has caused my husband to never want another gm truck again despite the fact that chevy is all he has ever owned... we just keep getting told that because we didnt have it worked on by a certified chevy dealer that they cant help... well we cant afford to get a certified mechanic or dealer to fix our truck because of ALL THE ISSUES we are having and have had since day 1. its a death trap. i just pray that this truck isnt going to end up being the reason someone dies... we have had several close calls... but we cant afford another truck... our vehicle is our livlihood and without it we cant work. we are a lower class hard working family on fixed income that cant affford a newer safer vehicle because we are constantly having to fix the one we have... and make the payments on top of that... we cant save up for another one! we are about to loose everything we have and just keeps going deeper into a hole because of this truck. the frame is cracked in a few places, electrical issues like i have never seen before, the roof is leaking badly. the frame is severely rusted... all of the major issues were hidden from us last year when we bought the ttruck. a year later, we are about to lose a roof over our heads because we cant keep this truck going to make money we need to survive. cant even take our mother to the dr. we are her caregivers and are afraid to even let her ride in it... and i have several pictures and receipts to back up my complaint as well
