I was in Burlington coat factory store located Linden, NJ and a black guy followed me all over the store he was wearing earbud pretending to be talking on the phone first I did not pay any attention however yesterday when I went to their New Brunswick, NJ store same guy followed me the guy is store undercover thinking I was a shoplifter, this is a open harassment that they profile me as shop lifter

Management at the Burlington Store, Union, NJ is absolutely horrendous. The check out lines are long most of the times and they will have two (2) cashiers working and management may have 2 people behind the counter sorting merchandise. The wait is usually 30 - 45 minutes. What’s worse they have 11 cashier stations. It’s really a turn off and shows an arrogance that the customers aren’t important. Hopefully this isn’t indicative of the location being in a low-to-moderate income neighborhood.

Additional the store is dirty with clothes, shoes and food products in such disarray. I visited a Burlington, Florida and couldn’t believe how clean and organized it was presenting a positive shopping experience. So disappointed in my store in Union, NJ.

The employees at the granada hills california, chatsworth/zelzah location harrassed my dog and I infront of all the clients. My dog jumped up because one of the employees were running, and he barely touched her hand. My dog doesnt nor ever has bitten anyone. It was clearly a movement impant of hand to teeth. No one was hurt. No one was injused. I apologized. When I got to the register, they continued to harrass me and tried to take my info down as a threat. 3 others in line clearly saw nothing happened and they went on a rampage. I need to speak to someone in regards to this matter.

Went to burlington wk of 1/8/23 in Yonkers NY. in the mourning.

This is the most disorganized store I've ever been in.

Thousands of clothing on a single rack stretching the length of the store, nothing is where it should be, all sizes are all mixed up, it would take me all day to find my correct size.

Only 2 people on the floor, and one was the janitor, yea, ask him to help you 😆,

they did have a greeter at the front entrance, but Why? She should be helping customers find things in this GIANT MAZE of clothes.

How the heck do they stay in business.

I bought shoes today in the Burlington Coat Factory store , 302 Providence Highway, Dedham, MA . @ 2:30 pm 13 Jan 2023. I picked (2) pairs of shoes w/c is the adidas black shoes with white stripes but I didnt buy it due to the cashier said, is $44.00 something than the price clearance of $14.00. I mention to the cashier (to her) to tell the manager but did not do so. Is about my price complaint clearance that the cashier has to take the issue to the manager. Maybe, didnt hear me or just ignored me..

This is the second time in two weeks. There are only two cashiers and there are more than fifty customers. Last time I waited for one and a half hours to get to the cashier. Today my wife wife waited on the line for one hour and forty five minutes. She could not stand any longer. I came from home and relieved her. Now I’m on the line for twenty minutes. Still it’s not even half way. They are very understaffed and I considerate to the customers.

Went to north Brunswick store tonight. Picked out merchandise from tables marked “75% off select merchandise. Red sticker price is the price.”

I found some items to purchase. Two I really wanted were regularly $6.99 and red sticker price was $5.99. I asked an associate who said they would adjust at the cashier. They would not. They called over a manager named Karen. She was very abrupt Aba rude and said it is up to 75 off. That is not what sign says. I shop here a lot and not I will not. I told her she should sell it to me at the price it said it is and she walked away without responding. We deserve better. If I don’t get a satisfactory response I am adding my experience to all my local social media groups. I expect more from you guys. You have been my favorite store until now but usually the workers are pleasant and professional

I went shopping at the Burlington on 12/03/2022 and spent $397.00 and when we went to walk out the alarm went out we were confronted by 2 employees and 1 standing aside. I was told that the alarm was for theft of jewelry. They searched our bags the pockets of the cloths, and they did this twice. then they took the back to the door to see if it would sound the alarm again and it did, with the employee stating the jewelry has to be here some where we explained we didn't purchase any jewelry nor did we steel anything. She kept insisting it was in the bag. When she was done she continued to just throw everything back in to the bag, I told your employee to fold the cloths that she just stuffed in the bag, she became annoyed with me, but the cashier had nicely placed everything in the bags. I have never been so embarassed.

a new store clean but customer service is the worst I've experienced, the so called manager // [censored]. superviser refused to put a cash register person up front to take care of us customers. they only use one person at a time and told me that nobody else had training including her the main woman who said she opened that store named Michael D. at 200 Lincoln square Arlington Texas.

I will no longer be shopping here at this location until somebody from corporate gets back with me with answers about a very poor managed store.

This is not the first time I've been there. I have left there four times outof ten visits and i let them know why and when i leave each time.

its a shame that a new store runs there customers off like this

I have written to Burlington before as I am a frequent shopper at the Burlington store in Davie, Florida and was told that someone would get back to me in 3-5 business days, but so far nothing has happened. I have received no response from anyone in corporate headquarters at Burlington.

The person I am complaining about is supposedly a manager at the Burlington in Davie, Florida on State Road 84. Her name tag says Liz. In my previous complaint, I told about how she berates the other employees in front of customers and doesn't seem to care about embarrassing the employee. I also said that if something wasn't done about her that I would start shopping at another Burlington in the area. Well I went into Burlington last night and she was screaming at a cashier and when the customer at the register said something to her about yelling at the cashier that way her exact words to the customer were "this isn't any of your business and she needs to just do her job and everything will be fine." First off, I can't believe she would yell at a cashier like that in front of customers in line waiting to check out, but really that she would talk to a customer that way. As of today, until this woman, again her name tag says Liz, is no longer at that Burlington, I will be shopping at the Burlington in Pembroke Pines. I really hope that corporate will listen to the customers and do something about this very rude employee.

On about 10/08/22 I purchased some items from Lacey, Wa store. I purchased a small car vacuum and was charged for 3 of them. I paid cash and had the receipt so today 10/15/22 I go to same store to try and get a refund for the 2 I paid for and did not get. When I went in to talk to someone I was approached by an employee who and told them what happened. They asked to see my receipt so I hand it to her and she then says that it's not my receipt and accused me of stealing a jacket the previous day. I tell her I did no such thing and that it is to my receipt and that I want to speak to the manager and that they can watch the security tapes and prove I'm telling the truth. I was told by employee that they are the manager and they won't watch the tapes and that she is keeping the receipt and I need to leave or she's calling the cops. I said call them you are wrong and stealing my receipt. I asked for her name and she said she didn't have to tell me anything. So I left not wanting to waste police time that could be spent on more important calls and trying to get resolved through other means.

I paid $42 for 3 items, when I tried to return it, they were only going to give me $15 back. I would have been fine with merchandise credit for the amount that I paid. Why on earth would I return an item if I'm not getting the full amount back? I'd literally be PAYING them to take items that I BOUGHT.

Terrible return policy and even worse transparency.

On Tuesday September 13, 2022 @12:09pm I start receiving calls from 312.307.6456 an unknown number. [protected]@12:42pm until 7:39pm this unknown number started harassing and texting me abusive, degrading, and threatening messages, that number belongs to usheka mclemore who claims to be a manager @Burlington (a leader in your company, if that's true I feel sorry for the employees who under her supervision). On [protected]@ 10:27am until 1:52pm usheka mclemore started harassing and texting me abusive, degrading, and threatening messages again, while on the [protected]@ burlington according to her. I'm sure Burlington isn't paying usheka to be spending her work shift on her phone threaten me, if so, can I come get paid to do nothing all day. I have snapshots of every harassing and texting me abusive, degrading, and threatening messages usheka sent to me, but the language in the snapshot of each text is awful. And I really need the people in Burlington's corporate office to see what their employee usheka is doing while on the clock and supposed to be working. I have pictures but I have to have them print off my phone in order to send them.

We just picked up the product as it was the closing time. After coming to the home, we just opened the product to use, but unfortunately there was no product in the box. It was an empty box inside.

we were continously buying the items in burlington from past one year, but this incident didn't happened to us anytime. we are really disappointed as the product was very much needed during our trip.

I returned an item with the receipt and received a discounted price. Tara, the manager, stated it was returned at a discount because it's "like buying a car..it depreciates". The item returned was an unused candle. She then proceeded to say the candle gets dirty and dusty and loses value so it could not be returned at full price. I re-purchased the exact same candle I returned and was charged full price. When I asked about the price, Tara stated she has a right not to approve returns which was a defensive response. Being in retail management for 10+ years, I understand giving customers the discount price without a receipt or not approving a return if an item is damaged or if it's not an item the store carries but Tara's response was defensive, unprofessional and disengaging. She has poor customer service, a nonchalant attitude and poorly represents the store.
