Branson's Nantucket No Room in the inn!

I called to make reservations for Nov. 17-21, 2023, for a two bedroom. I paid my booking fee of $79.00 but when I got the confirmation letter, they had me checking in on Nov. 16 and out on the 19th. I called, emailed and sent text messages. Finally, I got a return call and was told those dates were not available - what? I was put through to the reservations desk and was told that there was one room available for those dates, a 1 bedroom. I told them there were 4 adults and 1 child, a 1 bedroom wouldn't work. I asked to be transferred back to where I first made the reservations to cancel altogether and asked that the booking fee be put back on my credit card, only to be told that it is non-refundable.

I totally regret purchasing this time-share or whatever they call it. I have stepped in crap before, but never this deep!

What a SCAM and RIP OFF!.

Desired outcome: I would like my "booking fee" returned since I can't book and it's not my fault that the days I need are not available.

Branson's Nantucket Everything about this place is a lie con artists

My husband and I were on vacation and stopped to purchase. tickets to some local shows and were told if we go to this Bransons Nantucket we would get tickets cheaper I should have known it was a scam. we had to go on a tour of the place and we felt pressured the whole time! we were the lasts ones there and our guide told us to just make payments for a year for 60.000 points to lock it in at a certain price and then we could start using it. Well a year later and we have tried to call them countless times but with no answer. of course the wanted a credit card and it was supposed to end in May of 2023 but they are still taking our money from the card this place needs to be shut down and stop scamming people.

Desired outcome: Refund

Branson's Nantucket Pathfinder

My friend and I stayed at Nantucket a few weeks ago and attended a required tour of the resort. When we did not purchase, we was offered a package of 60,000 points to use to revisit the resort to see if interested in becoming an owner. We were provided info on the points system in detail. We were also told that since purchase was being financed, that we could still book stays at Nantucket while paying the financed portion, but package must be paid in full to use points to travel to other lifetime destinations. The term Pathfinder or an alternative point system was NEVER mentioned. After purchasing the package and returning home, I rec'd an email welcome with limited info. When I asked several questions, I was then provided an alternative point system info sheet for the Pathfinder. The point system was significantly higher than what was presented in the tour with even higher points required for all but travel during period of January 1st through mid March. During the presentation and purchase of the package, we were straight out lied to and very pertinent information was withheld. Then when time to sign the contract, it was getting late in the day and we were the only ones left in the center, my friend and I and the two sales guys working on paperwork, Bill Wellington and another gentleman I cannot remember his name. They brought out the contract and I signed without reading as I felt we were being rushed out. The package I purchased was completely misrepresented and I want out of the contract.

Branson's Nantucket We were lied too in the meeting so we would purchase their product

During the meeting, we were told that we could cancel at any time for just $1700. Not true. We also were told that they would get rid of our other timeshare and that never happened. We also were told that they use RCI which was a big factor and forgot to tell us that RCI dropped them prior to our meeting. It was a huge scam, and we have witnesses that say in on the meeting to prove we were scammed.

Desired outcome: Cancelation

Branson's Nantucket Timeshare issues and lies

I wrote a certified letter on 1/3/22. Which they have never addressed. I explained because of medical reasons I had to go on disability. I lost 2/3 of my income. And was temporarily homebound. I did like the tour of the tower. It included a shower & hot tub, which means a lot. I was told we purchased 2 weeks. That it was very available. We were told how high they were rated and how rci was available if we decided to go elsewhere.

We went to a week visit. No hot tub. We told them we would be arriving late. No problem. They left key. We found out we were unable to lock doors. They scheduled us a early morning mtg. Which we couldn't make. We went to a room with 3 men. 2 standing beside us. Threatening us that we were breaking our contract by not paying them thousands to get rid of 2 other. They were loud, rude and threatened us. We had made every payment on time and we're shocked! We were told next time to ask to stay in tower if we wanted a tub. We tried unavailable. I n

Desired outcome: Exit timeshare because of hardships, lies told when purchased, rci not available, unable to get reservations, horrible intimidation and that's of owners

Branson's Nantucket Timeshare trial - pathfinder package

Description of Complaint:

Attended the Timeshare presentation on 09/12/2022 and Bought- Pathfinder trial Package. The contract made with the agreementthat the customer to pay for the Pathfinder Package and Provider/seller to provide satisfatory customer service. We were told that the VIP Concierge [protected] is an excellent company with 100% satisfactory to plan a vacation and they do price match and refund if the company unable to price match. Icalled several times to understand how the program works and tried to plan a trip, but the operator attended the call and couple of mins later the call got disconnected, I was not able to talk to anyone after calling more than dozen times. To validate further, I called Nantucket Branson to requesting explaination of the benefits and options and also conveyed to them that I called VIP Concierge and no valid response received. The representative not only responded back to the question, but they answered with rudeness and treated me like a victim and referring to "you signed a contract" and said that you have no option but to pay for what you agreed, despite whether you like the service or not. I was explaining to them over a phone conversation about my experience and requesting find better solution, the representative hang up the call. I spoke several times with Heather and Owner Care Desk At this point, based on my experience, and the reviews of people writing in the web, and alsoin BBB.org about their observations are similar to mine ,So far the experiences with Branson Nantuckets customer relations are not only unsatisfactory and not trust worthy, the way they communicated was totally unacceptable.Hence the expected services are not provided and not met as promised/advertised, I am writing this to cancel the agreement and requesting not to charge my credit card or report it to collection agencies. Now The expection is mutually end the contract and Not have mutual obligation. Pls send the confirmation by mail or email Dominic

Branson's Nantucket Unauthorized credit card charges

My wife and I bought a package with Nantucket in November of 2020. We have not been able to use it. I contacted customer service in June of 2022 to make reservations for our 34th wedding anniversary. They offered me a comp stay if I would sit through another presentation. We went to Branson in July. When we went to our meeting the salesman was trying to figure out why we hadn't been back, he said that Nantucket was supposed to have invited us back to explain how their package works. Anyway the presentation was for an upgrade, another $18,000 bucks. They make it sound sooo glorious, it's hard to turn down...yep, we took the bait and upgraded. That night my wife and I had a big discussion about it. The next morning, before the New owners breakfast, I called our salesman and told him we wanted to cancel our upgrade and he said he would take care of it. I would think that would be sufficient. He did not say anything about us having to put it in writing. We packed our bags and went home after that call. About a month later, my wife was checking her credit card and there were 2 charges, $1400 for down payment and the other was a $332 monthly payment. We then got a statement in the mail for another $100 monthly payment on "their" credit card as part of the $3000 down payment. We then got a statement from the POA for $1200. I called customer service and explained the situation. She said I had 5 days from the purchase to send, in writing, cancellation notice. I looked at our contract and seen where it stated that, but we were literally 6 floors beneath them in the tower, 16 hours after we signed the deal when I told the salesman we wanted to cancel. She said the conversation was my word against salesman and it was too late to cancel. I called my salesman, no answer, I text my salesman 2 different dates, No reply. He finally called me back, said he talks to 3 people a day and he didn't remember, I told him remember, I called you around 6 AM on Saturday before breakfast and told you our situation? Oh yeah, I remember. He said I might have said something like, " I will tell them that you would be cancelling ". Then he said, I think you have 5 days to put it in writing. I was livid.

I told him that I already had talked to customer service. He said he would pull our file and see if he could talk to someone. A week went by , no reply. I contacted customer service again and gave them the updates of communication. They said again," it's too late". I asked for the next person on the ladder to speak to, she would not give me another person to talk to. I text my salesman and he finally text me back and said "sorry Mr.____ there's nothing I can do"

Desired outcome: Complete refund of all money I have spent with them.

Branson's Nantucket Payment Not Received

I just learned today that my contract is cancelled because they "did not receive" a signed addendum. The addendum was signed and sent to them twice because they "did not receive" the first time. I paid a lot of money for the deposit and now they said it is canceled and there are not managers/executives I can speak with. She said the administrative team does not take calls. How does any of this make sense?

Desired outcome: I want a phone call from someone in leadership today.

Branson's Nantucket Broken promises

Bought into with promise could use points to go other places with rci partnership, rci dropped them, then they said could us advantage to travel elsewhere, they eliminated exchange program after 2 weeks we bought, and offered to take 56000 points and give $300 off a trip or pay maintenance only, Nantucket then invited back for update visit, to find out they alternative now was interval if we paid $58,200. We rejecte. Called upon return to use our 59000 points for 4-5 bedrooms either in one unit or in individual units. Advised 6-27 none available single, group, house through December. Isn’t it a coincidence that 47000 of our points expire January. Feel return of original purchase price is warranted as they lie make promises can’t fulfill!

Desired outcome: Reimbursement original price paid $17998 without penalty for falsifying promises and feel final straw just left there 6-9-6-12 and now 6-27 trgying book and have no availability. Feel retaliation for not buying interval also.

Branson's Nantucket Timeshare update

We went on presentation of Nantucket in Branson, Mo in December 2017. At the time we were with Wyndham and wanted to get out of that so the salesman said he could get us out of Wyndham and we could join Nantucket and made it sound so good, showed us the RCI book and said you can go anywhere in this book with your points and maintenance fees were cheaper so spent 10,750.00 to get in this program.. 5-6-2018 we were invited back for update and was told we needed more points as in 2017 that was basically to get you in the program. We were hesitant about putting more money into it but 2 salesmen convinced us about this rental program and that would help pay for it so another 13,740 into it. 1-4-2019 we put 30,000 points into program. [protected] went on another update and said we can't afford to put any more money out and the salesman said we should receive check soon in mail for the rental program which never got. 3-23-20 received letter that program was discontinued in January 2019. 11-2021 another update and guys were so rude. they asked if we got a box in the mail from Life time Destinations and we said no and they kept asking and asking like we were not telling the truth. no longer with RCI but now II and some papers had to be redone because the way the old contract read our kids would have to pay a lot of taxes on this when we die. We didn't know what to believe and they wanted another 17,000 to redo paperwork and give us more points and get into the Interval International. I can't believe the owner of this company would charge us this amount to redo paperwork and to get us into II. We were happy with RCI. We didn't give them another 17,000. We are 75 years old my husband has hard time driving on roads we not familiar with and I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have trouble walking and riding. Just so upset with this Nantucket. Been lied to so many times don't know who to believe and certainly don't want our kids to have to pay a huge amount when we die but salesman couldn't show us new law in Missouri he only could talk about it so who do you believe. Is it just another gimmick to get you to put more money out? What we want from Nantucket is to redo our contract like he says needs to read (if that is the truth) and put us into Interval International free of charge or take back our contract and get us out of this money gimmick free of charge.

Desired outcome: would like contract redone to new wording or whatever the guy was talking about that our kids would have to pay taxes if this all true and be in Interval International and this all done free or take back our timeshare and not charge us.

We are in the same situation, but they wanted $18,000. No RCI, no Interval International. However, we do get to pay an assessment fee every year because we didn’t change over to Lifetime Destination.

Branson's Nantucket Timeshare purchase fraud

We went to Branson MO Aug. 2021. We attended a timeshare tour at Branson Nantucket on 8/2. We were misled during the presentation & the paperwork that stated we had a certain amt. of annual points, 12,233, 1 bedroom, season red, which were supposed to afford a vacation anywhere in the world through RCI, Advantage & another exchange club every year. After a couple of months of setting up our acct. & getting our points, I went to check into using them. It turned out that the points, to which they said would get us up to multiple bedrooms. which we thought we bought, wasn't enough to deposit. It would take 3 years to dep. with Advantage & even if we could deposit with RCI, it wouldn't even get us a studio. They are supposed to be a gold resort & have high value in an exchange. This was supposed to be every year, anytime, for a min. of a 1 bdrm. There is nothing in the documents about the min. dep. amts. for any. I found out through many phone calls. We expected RCI to remain a part of the program because we use it every year prior, which they knew, but they discontinued them on 12/23. That only left Advantage, which is of no use to those with such little points. Also, they opened 2 credit cards, one in my name & one in my husband's for $5,000 & $4,000 respectfully. We never gave them permission for any card in my husband's name. They were using them for money down on the timeshare purchase. I had to contact Barclay multiple times over months before the card was finally closed. The card affected my husband's credit. We cannot use this timeshare anywhere but in Branson. That is not what we agreed to & were not told differently. They knew we lived on the other side of the country. I tried calling them repeatedly & got nowhere. They lied about their affiliation with RCI & the points value & use. This was a scam to get you to go back to their resort repeatedly. They were supposed to be a part of an exchange program which accepted our points annually that we could use to travel throughout the world. This is not the case. We can't travel anywhere, but Branson, until 3 years after our purchase. We bought annual points, but they are really tri-annual. We did not agree to such a purchase. We travel every year and they knew that.

Desired outcome: We want a full refund. We paid it in full. $15,698 + $479 3 yrs. of maintenance. fees = $16,177.

I did report them to the AG and the BBB. They did a general reply to the BBB, so it never really got addressed. The AG did nothing, but then later sent me another department to contact, which I will be doing this year. I paid Advantage up for a few years, only to find out in December that they are no longer an exchange company and I had to join Interval. So far, I paid 3 exchange companies since buying in 2021, RCI, which dropped them, Advantage, which is now a discount travel company, and now Interval, the latest exchange company. What the heck! The maintenance fees in December went up to $625.00 from $479 in 2 years. They said it rarely goes up, maybe a few dollars a year. I will keep trying to get them to refund all money. I have no choice but to pay things so I don't ruin my credit and case against them.

Report them to your local general attorney, the one in MO too. Also, FTC and BBB. The more complaints to these places the better chance they'll get shut down. It's time we stood up and took action against this company. Laws need to change regarding timeshare companies we need America to protect us from this American Nightmare!

Branson's Nantucket Timeshare scam

I was misled into purchasing a very expensive timeshare by Branson's Nantucket that we did not want. The sales people are relentless and push you into signing their deal. My husband Jack and I are senior citizens and we are both in declining health and I am now suffering from memory issues, and had to get my son Jeff to help write this complaint for us. We owned a timeshare with Wyndham from 2014 and used our points to travel to Branson, MO in 2018. We were approached about going to a timeshare meeting while there and we told them we were not interested in another timeshare, we were looking for help to get us out of the Wyndham contract, and the agent told us they could do that so we went to the presentation. Once they started talking it became very aggressive and told us that we should purchase a timeshare with THEIR resort, and that they would get us out of the old contract so that we would be paying less and have a better situation. Due to my memory issue I am not really capable of understanding financial programs, and the agents ganged up and somehow convinced us to buy a NEW timeshare with them for $45K with down payment of $9711 a "loan" of $36, 449 with an interest rate of 18.9%. After we "bought" the new timeshare, they had a different representative come over who said he would help us exit the Wyndham timeshare. They asked some questions and had us fill out paperwork and we paid them an additional $1600 but nothing happened. My family is angry at the way they took advantage of senior citizens with significant health issues and we called a few days later to try and cancel but were told it was too late and convinced us that we should give them a chance. We went back there in hopes of talking to someone to get out of the deal, and had a "horrible experience." We did not have the "great view" we had been promised. We were stuck in a small apartment setting on the ground floor that was much smaller and different than what had been described.
We have asked Branson to release us from this contract, we are unable to travel and were misled into signing, but they have been ignoring us and their collection agents call and verbally abuse me and tell me they will wreck my credit. We need help.

Desired outcome: Release from the contract-stop collection calls

If you still need help, get a hold of Lonestar Transfer. These attorneys are highly regarded and they will help you. Look them up. Below is a copy of what they say.

“Lonestar Transfer Our primary service is our title transfer service. This service helps burdened timeshare owners by legally transferring their timeshare property title out of their name. Once the transfer is complete, all financial liability is removed from the previous owners.”

Branson's Nantucket Ownership of Branson Nantucket

Purchased a part of Branson Nantucket and issued a warranty deed. Contract 1BN7558. We pay fees and special assessment for use of property which we have not used in over three years. Cannot book property when we want to go. The contract keeps changing and the company does not issue updates or honor what they initially told us when buying into the property.

Mislead by lies and deceitful people working for this company. We were initially told that if we were to decide we no longer wanted to be a deed holder or have ownership, that Branson Nantucket had the first option to buy the propery back from us. When I called the ownership number, I was informed that they were not buying any property back. The other option was to sell the property we were deeded or give it back to Nantucket. There were special rules applying to this but we have been lied to at least 3 different times about our contract, which was also affiliated with RCI (an exchange program with Nantucket). Nantucket ownership states RCI affiliate exchange vacation program was terminated by RCI, and when we called RCI they informed me that Branson Nantucket terminated with them between [protected]. We received an email about this dated Dec 2021 when it happened way before this date.

We have paid our fees, fullfilled our end of the contract and we want these people to send in writing that they are taking this property back and we no longer are liable for any part of this contract. We paid a price of $8139.00 for this property and exchange program, and they are not honoring what the contract says.

Desired outcome: Reimbursed fees for this year of $475 and waive the $527 fees and notarized in writing that we are free and clear of any further contract obligations.

Branson's Nantucket Covid assessment fee

One reason to go with Branson's Nantucket, no assessment fees or monthly maintenance fees. Wait a minute, then why do I get an assessment fee, with no warning, for $475 dollars? Oh, because they say it is "special" they can hit you with whatever they want. And if you choose not to pay it, and you can, they will turn it over to a collection agency and attack your credit. Wonderful place to do business and stay on vacation. STAY AWAY, RUN FAST. as all timeshares its all lies all, the time.

Desired outcome: no special cleaning fee. Its a hoax for more money.

Branson's Nantucket timeshare

This company tells you nothing but lies. Stay away from them. They make promises and are never fulfilled. They take your money and leave you without the ability to make reservations. They tell you they only make reservations for owners. Owners of what? A worthless deed! You can't get reservations when you are able to go. Last year I was able to get 3 days when I was able to go. This year they tell me the same lie that everyone who cancelled last year made reservations for this year and there is nothing available. I had to pay $1100 for maintance fees which is up $300. from last time I paid them which was right after the timeshare was bought. They won't buy back your timeshare, you can't rent it either although they will tell you they will rent it for you. You are paying for nothing. Save your money and your heart break.

Desired outcome: a buy back

What you are stating here is true indeed. We purchased in 2015. They have not honored what their contract says or what their employees tell you. They lie, cheat, steal money from good folks to build their empire over in Branson. They have a scheme in place and know how to lie and be deceitful. They do not return phone calls, emails, or reply or respond to their owners needing to have valid information.

Branson's Nantucket A full refund.

My sister and I bought in to their program this last year and were talked into an upgrade where we were promised certain things for spending the extra 18, 000$ we didn't receive a single thing they told us we would get and when we asked about it the guys response was "get a lawyer" also while we were there a guy locked my family outside of the tower literally on them my son has his hand on the door handle while the guy locked it on him. Then they had to go down another way through a bunch of construction having to move multiple things out of the way for the older handicap lady to get through. When we brought it to management they simply told us they'd take care of it. After getting home we decided to get a hold of customer service because we weren't happy with multiple issues on the trip which ruined our time there. Customer service said they'd have a manager call me and they never did. I continued to call customer service to try to talk to someone in charge and was told they did as much as they're going to do for us and that we were not going to be able to talk to the president of the company. We were blown off. After spending 34, 000$ with them to be treated so poorly I told them we wanted a full refund and they said again get a lawyer. I told them they broke the contract with us guaranteeing good service and that they would buy us out if we were unhappy. I'm shocked at how they conduct business I've since been informed of multiple lawsuits and now know why. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't regret buying from them.

Branson's Nantucket Time share conman was deceitful and full of lies.

My wife and I are in our mid to late 60's and live on retirement and S.S. When our conman, Sean Munday, revealed the price for what he was selling we told him that we couldn't afford $19, 000. But his reply was, how about this. In January we give you 50, 000 points and then you go through advantage and can convert 5, 000 of those points to $5, 000 cash and put that towards what you owe. Come January we find out that advantage has never done cash conversions like this. The lady also stated that she has heard this from several victims.
When we got called back for our orientation a couple months later, it was nothing but another sales pitch from Josh, telling us we would have to buy a new package because every time they change bosses the old deals are out and new ones are implemented. He stated the cash conversion was gone but had not been replaced yet.
I wonder if Sean's family is proud of how he scams out of their money. My credit score has gone down and I am having to pull money from different places to make the $193.00 monthly payment.
You got me Sean, but I'll still pray for you.

Desired outcome: All money back and out completely

Branson's Nantucket Deceitful salespeople

Nantucket salesman Mr Munday was told by us that we could not afford what he was offering. He then told us that we could convert 5000 points to $5000 cash after The first of the year to be spent how we wanted. Come time to convert the advantage lady did not know anything about a cash conversion. We were invited back for a new owners orientation where Josh explained that advantage had reduced the conversion amount to $.15 per point but Advantage is saying that there is no such thing as a cash conversion. Now we are hearing from a Advantage employee that she has been hearing this for a couple years. They promise anything to get the money then they change their story and say, it's wasn't in the contract. I have Josh's statement on tape.

Desired outcome: Money back and out from under this scam.
