My husband purchased a 2007 cat 268b skid steer that was delivered on 7-7-16 by an auto transport company that auto specialists of florida hired. He was told by neil marcellino, the owner, as well as an ebay listing that the machine was in perfect working condition and free of any obvious mechanical issues. When the transport driver started the machine to unload it from the flat bed it was transported on, it was immediately obvious that there were some major mechanical issues. The machine bogs down and dies every time you try to raise or lower the bucket and the joysticks for the drive and bucket are so messed up that you can only move the machine a couple of feet at a time. Something was obviously crossed with the connections between the two joysticks, because you have to wiggle them both constantly to get the machine to move and you don't have any control over which direction it moves. There is absolutely no way that this machine was loaded onto the transport flat bed without auto specialists knowing there were major mechanical issues. When my husband called the owner, neil, to complain that we were sold a piece of junk, neil said f&*^ you and hung up the phone. He has not answered our calls since.

I wasted huge amount of money in the company Auto Specialists of Florida. I left my car for total repair, but these guys took all my money and repaired some minor problems. I was surprised, when my car broke again. I tried to speak with the manager of this company, but he tried to avoid me and said that he had a lot of work, so he couldn’t help me now. Only later I find out that he has lied to me and hasn’t repaired the car.

. I bought a 2007 Skytrak 8042 Forklift, was told that the hours on the machine were 1740. The engine filters show 5420 hours as of 3-20-15, which was not disclosed to me when I bought the 2007 Skytrak 8042 forklift on November 13, 2015, after having seen it on EBay(Item [protected]) listed under the ID of dealer-wholesale, with many pictures of the forklift, two of which were of the engine compartment, on either side. The machine was delivered by a brokered trucking company hired by Auto Specialists of Florida on November 16th. When I opened the engine compartment to view the condition on both sides of the machine, the oil and fuel filters of the engine, both showed 5, 420 hours, serviced on the date of 3-20-15. Both were prominently displayed for any person to see without any problem. Of the two air filters on the engine, the inner air filter showed the date of 9-14-11, hour meter 3, 413. The hour meter in the cab, shows 1, 740 hours. The EBay pictures conveniently showed no filters, probably due to the hours written on them. I thought I was paying for a machine with low hours. The salesman/owner of the company, Neil Marcelino, misrepresented the actual hours. When I called him to let him know about this, he said that he only knew of the hours on the meter and not of the hours in the engine compartment. Someone certainly knew not to take pictures of the filters so the hours would not show. Neil said that maybe the engine had been changed out or that someone might have put those filters on the machine. He is claiming complete ignorance of this and feels he has no responsibility for it. I paid for this machine at a reduced rate of $28, 900, which he cut $1, 000 off the price (EBay Buy It Now price was showing $29, 900). I asked Neil if I should pay him directly or through EBay, Neil said that he did not care. I sent a wire transfer from my Bank on November 13th for full payment of the machine, trucking included, for $30, 590. Neil cancelled the EBay listing of the machine as no longer available. During our phone conversation on November 23rd, I let him know the machine would not start now. My phone conversation with Neil today has resulted in zero help from him, except he said he would pay for a starter or whatever it took to get it going. I wanted to return the machine and have my money completely refunded for the misinformation about the machine’s hours. Machines with this many hours tend to have more mechanical issues than one with fewer hours, which is what I was told I was getting. I buy, rent, and resell construction equipment. There is much more wear on this machine than originally shown in the pictures. I won't be able to resell this without telling people that there are unknown hours on this machine, which will be the honest thing to do.
