Audi Mixed experiences with audi auto line

As someone deeply passionate about cars, I've had mixed experiences with Audi Auto Line. While the vehicles are undeniably stylish and offer a luxurious driving experience, there have been some concerning issues reported by customers. Some have praised the beauty and performance of Audi cars, highlighting their competitive edge in the market. However, there are also troubling accounts of poor customer service and questionable practices. Stories of unnecessary procedures leading to high charges and dissatisfaction with service quality raise red flags. It's disheartening to hear about customers feeling let down by a brand that promises premium quality. As a potential customer, it's essential to weigh these reviews carefully before making a decision. While Audi Auto Line may offer elegance and performance, the reported customer service issues and service quality concerns are definitely worth considering.

Audi The only thing that is premium is the price!

I've had my 2013 Audi allroad for 8 years, it currently has *** miles. It's always been serviced and repaired by Audi. 25k miles ago I started to need to top up oil between services. Audi then stated that this was normal. I didn't really believe that and started to do some research on my own and found that the early TFSI engines [protected] have an inherent design fault which leads to high consumption of oil.

http://casestudies.atlanticmotorcar.com/audi-engine-oil-consumption-correction/

Gradually the problem got worse and during a service when I yet again made them aware of the issue and my research findings, they said the turbo was burning oil and needed to be replaced before they could do anything. This was done and $4k later my car was still burning oil. Problem got worse and worse. At 1 qrt every 600 miles Audi said that the abnormal use was due to a leaking top cover gasket and they could not do anything until this issue was corrected. I made them aware that the engine bay would have been full of oil if the top cover gasket was to blame but went ahead to fix the gasket at the same time as the timing chain was replaced.

The problem still remained. I have now spent yet another $1k to perform a oil consumption test which concluded that the car is now using 1 qrt each 200 miles! Which is everything else but normal. Audi finally says that the piston rings need to be replaced and because the car is now out of warranty I have to pay for everything out of pocket!

The fact that Audi from day one blamed everything else and asked me to spend premium $ to fix whatever they said was the issue instead of taking responsibility for their faulty engines is ridiculous and everything else but premium. It's so savage and ruthless to bleed your customers of money knowingly that there is an issue with the engines. This is not what I expect of a premium car company.

Whoever is considering of ever buying or owning a new or used Audi please think twice!

Audi Audi Data Breach

How is it that Audi does not notify their customers when there is a data breach within Audi?

I have received nothing from Audi regarding identity theft monitoring or even a letter stating there was a breach within their system.

Audi is not proactive and is not vigilant in notifying their customers! This needs immediate attention and this occurred in August 2023!

Claimed loss: Identity Theft Protection

Desired outcome: A response from Audi with an explanation and resolution.

Audi Audi A6 (2020) gearbox

Hello Audi Germany!

I'm writing this email to you today to ask your best support and attention to a situation that happened suddenly to my car, an Audi A6 (AA48BH) , from year 2020.

The vehicle is since day 28th April in the Audi service (Porto) garagewith a serious priblem in the gear box... and stills there until today.

I'm based here in Porto, Portugal and run my own micro-company of tourism (with only 2 cars), curiously both German cars...

Me, Rui Botelho, as the representative and manager of company 222 Tours, Lda. (www.222.tours), ask you to check with your dealer partners here in Porto the cause of a car with only 3 years old, 147.000 kms aprox. and a 70.000€ premium car has a problem of this nature?!

It was acquired in (Expocar- Soauto Porto) in the year 2020 , brand new on March right before Covid lockdown shut everything all over the world.

The warranty is finished in March 2022 and this car has been running at least 2 times during the warranty with a gear problem not solved yet... apparently and as the staff says nothing to do with this actual problem.

Besides the frustation of such a big investment to my business of a premium car to my luxury travellers, I'm loosing so much money because the car is not running, with big lost on image and income... the repair invoice is so high I can't afford to pay it because my small business works by myself and struggling to pay every month the leasing and insurance and diesel.

I remind you gently that this car is my way of.work, the image of my tiny company and I feel very frustrated because I hamdle and take very carefully with cars because I transport executives, travellers and most of all persons, meaning this car is not racing tonhave this kind of problems so young!

As an entrepreneur and as a private I don't dispose such a big amount of cash to the repair I don't feel totaly responsible for it.

The quote from dealer service garage it's almost 4.000€ repair ...

So I'm asking you to your best attention to this problem, why this gear box issue can happen and why having the car only 3 years of use?!

Also this car has been on tests and dealer inspections to check a problem on first march gearbox that it's been doing wrong since first year of age.

Please help!

Thanks

Audi Review: Audi USA's Website - A Great Place to Check Out for New Cars

Audi USA's website, audiusa.com, is a great place to check out if you're in the market for a new car. The site is easy to navigate and has a lot of information about the different models available. However, there are a few spelling and grammar errors that could be fixed to make the site even better.

One thing that stands out about Audi cars is their beauty. They are truly stunning vehicles that can sell themselves. However, it's surprising that it took Audi so long to upgrade their models. Despite this, the cars are still beautiful and the staff at Audi should be commended for their hard work.

When I make more money, I definitely plan on purchasing an Audi. They are high-quality cars that are worth the investment. The site has a lot of helpful information about financing options and the different features available on each model. Overall, I highly recommend checking out audiusa.com if you're in the market for a new car.

Audi Audi's Faulty Engines: My Experience with High Oil Consumption and Poor Customer Service

I've been driving my 2013 Audi allroad for a good 8 years now, and it's been serviced and repaired by Audi all this time. However, about 25k miles ago, I started noticing that I needed to top up oil between services. When I brought this up with Audi, they told me that it was normal. But I wasn't convinced, so I did some research on my own and found out that the early TFSI engines from [protected] have a design flaw that leads to high oil consumption.

I shared this information with Audi, but they didn't seem to take it seriously. The problem only got worse, and during a service, they told me that the turbo was burning oil and needed to be replaced before they could do anything. I shelled out $4k for the replacement, but my car was still burning oil. The problem continued to worsen, and at one point, I was using 1 quart of oil every 600 miles. Audi then told me that the abnormal use was due to a leaking top cover gasket, and they couldn't do anything until this issue was fixed.

I was skeptical because if the top cover gasket was to blame, the engine bay would have been full of oil. But I went ahead and got the gasket fixed along with the timing chain. However, the problem persisted. I then spent another $1k to perform an oil consumption test, which showed that my car was now using 1 quart of oil every 200 miles! This was far from normal, and Audi finally admitted that the piston rings needed to be replaced. But since my car was out of warranty, I had to pay for everything out of pocket.

I'm extremely disappointed with Audi's response to this issue. From day one, they blamed everything else and asked me to spend a premium amount of money to fix whatever they said was the issue. They never took responsibility for their faulty engines, and that's not what I expect from a premium car company. It's savage and ruthless to bleed your customers of money when you know there's an issue with your engines.

If you're considering buying or owning a new or used Audi, please think twice. I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I've gone through.

Audi Audi A7

About 3 weeks ago we filed a complaint about the services we have received from the Audi Dealership in Indianapolis, IN. We took the car into the dealership 6 months ago because there was a brake light on the dash. Three different times we received a call saying that the car was fixed, when we went to pick it up another light would come on. They took it back and put it on the scanner and said they fixed the problem. But it took them a month to do that. When we went to pick it up again we wouldn't even get out of the garage before something else was wrong. but we were still being charged for parts and labor that no one could tell us what the parts were for and why after the parts were installed the car still wouldn't work right. After 6 months of trying to fix the car we received a call that the car was finally fixed. They said they were going to drive it about 200 miles and verified that it is fixed. But we received yet another phone call saying that they still had a problem. We have been waiting for six months. It should never take this long to fix. Especially since we were told it was fixed on 4 different occasions.. We will never buy another Audi from anyone but especially from the Indianapolis dealer.

Desired outcome: we want the car fixed correctly. You have the car, you suppose to have trained service people. Fix the car.

Audi I need the issue resolved

My wife purchased a new Audi TTS from Audi east Rand in South Africa in March 2021.
The day we drove the car of the new sales floor, the brakes screeched. The car has been in and out of the service workshops over a 2 year period to resolve the annoying screeching brake noises
At first we were told that the brakes need to wear in therefore the noises. We then complained that it still exists. The car was taken in and the weights were upgraded, brakes cleaned and put back. The noise reoccurred.
This was done again and the same screeching noise still occurred.
We were then told that maybe wait until the brakes need to replaced as it could be that the brake pads were not 100%
When the brakes came up for replacement, it was replace and the noise still occurred.
Booked into workshops again, the brakes was shamphered and cleaned and assembled. The noise still occurred.
It was booked in again and I was told that maybe the bedding process was not done correctly.
The brake discs and brake pads were replaced and apparently the bedding process was done correctly. The noise still occurred.
It was booked in again, brakes removed cleaned and assembled, noise still occurred.
It was then booked in again, brake discs and brakes pads replaced again. Lasted with no noise for a week, then the noise appeared again
The response from Audi SA is embarrassing to say that this is acceptable for a million rand car.
In my opinion Audi SA does not want take responsibility for a car that has a defect which needs to be resolved by Audi
In spite of us being repeatedly inconvenienced, I have been patient over the last two years, giving Audi SA the opportunity to resolve the problem, but with no resolution.
We have had the most embarrassing experiences, driving the vehicle as people turn to look at us when we are driving the vehicle – especially when we are slowing down when approaching a traffic light or a stop street.

Does Audi expect me to continue driving this vehicle, feeling utterly embarrassed?
I am unable to accept this defective car.
I have attached the Audi SA letter which I will post on social media advising them of the service from Audi South Africa. The response from Audi South Africa is nothing short of laughable. The feedback we received prior to this letter was “tell the client to break hard and then she won’t hear the sound”

I drive an Audi Q7. I have convinced my wife to buy an Audi TTS (from driving a Mercedes). With Audi not taking responsibility for this defect, I surely will reconsider my future vehicles to other brands

Dear Mrs Govender

We refer to previous communication between yourself and Audi Centre East Rand Mall, regarding the brake noise experienced.

Audi South Africa ("Audi SA") regrets to note your disappointment.

Having reviewed your matter, we wish to advise as follows:

1. During braking, the brake pad rubs against the brake disc and converts kinetic energy into heat energy, which will result in vibrations and are sometimes perceived as a squeaking or grinding noise.

2. Light brake application, or when the brake pads are not firmly pressed to the discs, could sometimes result in vibrations that can be heard as squeaking and grinding noises. Noise levels can increase, due to the wear characteristics of the brake pads, which decreases over a period of time, and have a the tendency for vibration to manifest.

3. During normal driving conditions over time, squeaking noises sometimes occur due to hardening and glazing of brake pads and brake discs.

4. Predominant use, in short-distance driving, could result in the self-cleaning effect of the brake pads not being sufficiently effective. This results in scraping and squeaking noises.

5. Although brake squeal can be annoying, it does not present a risk to the safety or performance of your braking system.

6. It is a common characteristic on many vehicles. Therefore, there is no cause for concern if braking noise occurs intermittently under the conditions mentioned.

We trust that this information gives you peace-of-mind, and thank you for affording us an opportunity to comment.

Best regards

Edward Davies

Audi Manufacturing defect new vehicle

• I took delivery of the 2022 Audi Sq5 Sportback 3.0 Tfsi Quattro on Saturday 27 August 2022

· For the record I state that this was meant to be a brand-new vehicle direct from the factory

· Thursday 05 January 2023 @ 12:59 I contacted via WhatsApp message the sales representative who sold me the vehicle to enquire of noisy brakes, I sent a sound clip to enquire about the noisy brakes

· The brakes have been making this weird abrasive noise ever since I bought the car, but the noise frequency and level was increasing to the point cars next to me were flagging me at robots to advise of the noise coming from the vehicle

· Friday 06 January, I enquired with the sale representative if I could bring the vehicle in on Wednesday 11 January 2023 as this was the first opening I had in my schedule, I also advised that there was a problem with the air conditioner as this was also now not working

· I took the vehicle in on Wednesday 11 January 2023 after 09:00, after driving a few kilometers with the workshop manager and the sales representative “Murphy’s Law” the brakes were not making any noise and it was insinuated that it was my driving, however, they noted the air conditioner was not working

· I left the vehicle in Audi Sandton possession on Wednesday 11 January 2023, I was advised that my vehicle will most like be ready later the day.

· Regarding the brake noise I suggested they park the vehicle and allow the brake drums & disk to cool off as the sound was worst when the vehicle was idle for a few hours

· Late Wednesday 11 January 2023, I received a call from the Audi Sandton service department advising that they could not identify what the issue was regarding the malfunctioning air conditioner, they apparently could not find anything wrong with the brakes

· Initially I was advised it will take 3 days to disassemble the air flow system and thereafter Audi Sandton can determine what is wrong and what parts must be replaced

· Friday 13 January 2023, I advised the sales representative that I had not received any feedback from the service center, I was then advised that the service center representative will call me Monday 16 January 223 with the findings if the repair

· Follow days and after several follow-up calls and I was advised that it was the evaporator which required replacement, the part was not stocked locally and had to be ordered from Audi Germany and may take anything from 3-6 weeks

· Friday 03 February 2023, I was advised by the service center agent that the part is expected to be at Audi Sandton by Wednesday 08 February 2023 and hopefully I will have my vehicle returned by Friday 10 February 2023

· Wednesday 08 February 2023 when I enquired about the part arrival, I was yet again given the run around and advised the part is in South Africa, however, Audi Sandton could not confirm when the part will be received at the parts center

· Wednesday 08 February 2023, once I threatened legal action due to Audi Sandton lack of aftermarket sales service and causing emotional distress to me as a customer, Miraculously the part arrived a few minutes later

· I was then advised they cannot promise my vehicle will be ready by Friday 10 February 2023, however I was advised my vehicle will be prioritized in the workshop on Thursday 09 February 2023

· Did this happen NO, today I called to follow-up the status of the car and was told that only did the Glass company come out to remove the windscreen as they are afraid of breaking the windscreen during repair, when asked why this could not have been done last week no answer could be provided

· I am now being told that the vehicle may potentially be ready Thursday 16 February 2023, however I must remember that Audi Sandton must do certain in quality checks before releasing the vehicle (smokescreen to basically say vehicle will not be ready on Thursday 16 February 2023 is my thoughts)

· As a customer I am beyond frustrated, I am constantly being given the runaround, no clear explanation and to be honest I am of the opinion Audi Sandton technicians do not have a clue what exactly is wrong with the vehicle and instead it is trial and error to get the vehicle repaired.

· I would like to understand from AVAF what the legal steps can be taken against the dealership.

· I was meant to get a brand-new vehicle, even though Audi Sandton will not admit it. The issue is this is a manufacturing defect on the vehicle air flow system.

· Audi Sandton is smoke screening as I have complained that for a new vehicle purchase and vehicle which was 4 months and 10 days old, which millage was under 10,000-kilometers, how can the vehicle have such a massive defect on it.

· Should the manufacture not recall this vehicle is my question

· I bought this vehicle for a huge sum of money and my monthly debit order Is being deducted for something I no longer own

· Audi Sandton categorizes this vehicle as VOR (Vehicle off road), there service center representative is condescending and belligerent which is why I retaliate on every single phone call which results ends up in my blood pressure escalating and undue stress on my side

· I need assistance from the complaints board to help me resolve this matter, how can I pay for something I no longer have in my possession with no clear line of sight from Audi Sandton on when the repair to a brand new vehicle is expected

Desired outcome: Replace the defect vehicle/ settle my loan, give me back my deposit and Audi Sandton can keep there defective car

Audi Lack of Parts - Waiting over 6 weeks

At the beginning of Sept. I lost the bluetooth connection in my Audi and was unable to reset it. The message was 'No Data Connection'. North Scottsdale Audi dealership diagnosed the issue as a 'Faulty Emergency Call Module' on Sept. 12th.

As of Oct. 25th, there was no status on when the part would be received. I was also advised that I am not the only person who is calling about this part which is quite disconcerting! This is my 1st Audi and the car has less than 24,000 miles. While I understand that there can be technology glitches, the uncertainty as to when this issue can be resolved is more than concerning and makes me wonder if I should stay with Audi or go back to BMW.

Why does it take so long to get parts? This issue not only affects my bluetooth connection, but also affects other emergency related systems in the car.

I am not happy.

Desired outcome: Have the issue repaired in a timely manner - i.e., next 7-10 days.

Audi audi etron sportsback and treatment at Kitchener dealership

Good afternoon, i would like to advise you of the poor treatment i received at your Kitchener dealership.

At no time did the dealership addressed my concerns. At all times I have received excuses as to why my 2021 audio etron sportsback continued to malfunction. the full charge kept decreasing daily, which was the cause of it being in for service for over 10 days less than 5 weeks ago.

I have sold the vehicle last Friday.

The staff had been repeatedly rude to my wife. They acted like they were doing me and my wife a favour when I call about my issues with this car.

To be blunt, my desire to have an Audi as terminated.

My winter tires and rims were purchased last year at the dealership and remain in your storage, kindly confirm you will provide me with a full refund as I have no use for them now. Given the above, I trust this will not be an issue.

Truly, Shawn

Desired outcome: want to be reimbursed for my winter tires and rims, asap

Audi Roadside assistance

My wife and daughter had a flat around 7:30AM on a Sunday (7/24/2022) in Boston. They called roadside assistance. My wife and daughter were blocking traffic on a day that was becoming blisteringly hot. A polite gentleman said he would connect them with a local tow company and send a link to provide information/ETA. They were told had to stay with the car. The link arrived 15 minutes later, as promised. When my wife clicked on the link, at first it said "connecting" and then after endless hourglasses said "cancelled." Dead end. No follow-yup. When my wife called back to explain what happened, a very apologetic woman at a call center apologized profusely and reassuringly. She said she would "make it her personal duty to get this resolved right away." She promised to "call back in 5-10 minutes." When a half hour passed and no return call, my wife called a third time. This time she was told that there is an "open ticket," but no tow companies available until 1:00PM at the earliest (which would leave them stranded for four hours). She committed that Audi "would keep trying," promised to call back if Audi confirmed a tow at 1:00 or sooner. The next call from Audi, which arrived three hours after the original request for help, asked if my wife would be OK with a tow THE NEXT DAY! Since the phone tag with the call center was unproductive, we tried the "Roadside Assistance Chat." We pleaded with an agent named "Belle" for help. She asked for our contact information. Then, she went silent and never responded again., We ultimately resorted to self-help. Thanks to an incredibly kind and helpful gentleman named Steven at Audi Brookline (thank goodness there are people like him), we obtained the names of local towing companies. We arranged for the tow ourselves, for $200 plus a $70 tip. We relied on Audi's promise of 24/7 Roadside Assistance. What a mistake. The whole ordeal was traumatizing, frustrating and useless. I feel as though we are owed an apology. The service was a complete failure at a critical time of need. I cannot express how disappointed we are. This is our second Audi, but this experience was so bad we will hesitate to recommend or buy new Audis in the future.

Desired outcome: I hope to make Audi's management aware that this service is not what is being advertised/relied upon by loyal customers and needs immediate corrective action.

Explanation of complaint:

As a long time customer of Roger Jobs Audi, I took my 2007 Audi Cabriolet Convertible there to be serviced. They had to order parts. I live in Coupeville, some distance away, so I left my car. When the parts were received my car was to be serviced and I would pick it up. It was there for more than a week.

On Monday, July 18, 2022 I received a call from the Service Manager, Nicholas Pacifico. He informed me that my car had been brutally vandalized. He sent me an estimate indicating there was almost $8,000 worth of damages. I was relayed a message from Management, through the service manager, that I was to file a claim with my insurance company. Roger Jobs Audi is not responsible for any theft of vandalism to any customer’s vehicle parked in their lot. They are saying there is no resolution to this problem because my vehicle is totaled. It was not totaled when I took it there. I have had this car for years. It is my primary vehicle. I am 72 years old and had no intentions or interest in replacing it. It is not right that this practice of not being responsible for vehicles left in the care of dealerships because the require special maintenance performed, should happen to unsuspecting customers. I was not required to sign any document releasing them of any liability for anything that should happen to my car while in their care. Why don’t consumers know this? Why aren’t we warned? If our car was not fully insured, we would have probably had no choice but to spend money we don’t have, on an attorney. How many people carry full coverage on 15 yr. old cars. How can we take an operating vehicle in for maintenance and end up with the nightmare of having it totaled? We are covered for market value. At 72, a 100% PTSD Army Veteran afford to make up the difference between what I may receive from my insurance and zero available dollars, to purchase another vehicle which I have no idea what has been maintained or may have to be repaired after I get it. I know the work that’s been done to my vehicle. It is not right that Roger Jobs Audi, should not pay for the estimated repairs so that I may have back the car I brought in, sans the repairs it was scheduled for. I am devastated.

Audi Audi Q3

I bought a used certified 2020 Q3. It was my third Audi from Paul Miller Audi. In the first week I discovered a dent, scratches and a bent wheel alignment. It also seemed strangle damp inside the car. Second week I notices a loud squeaking from the shocks and a rattle from dashboard. By the 4th week after raining I found the roof leaked into the electrical panel. I have been back to fix roof so far 3 times. The third time they scratched the windshield and roof. I had to go back again to have all of that fixed. I’m still left with a loud rattle and squeaky shocks. I’ve already driven numerous Audi and know this sound is not normal. They have done nothing to correct it. I went as far a finding a road to recreate each sound and they refused to bring it 2 mins down the street. I HATE this car and experience. I paid a premium for a car and got terrible service. I also contacted corporate and each time the agent promised a follow up call the were a week late. I would have to call them back. Eventually told they could not help. This company isn’t worth the money they charge.

Desired outcome: Car to be fixed properly and a refund. Definitely some accountability for selling a lemon.
