Aspen Dental Deceptive Advertising

Aspen Dental engages in false advertising on their website. The prices listed on the website are far less than the prices you get from each practice. They refuse to give any pricing on the phone or in email and insist that you make an appointment to "discuss" pricing. In my particular instance, the website offered $500 off their best denture. The office in Warrington didn't know about the offer and couldn't find it online. I took the office manager's business card, went home and looked up the site, and sent her an email showing what the site offered.. $500 off the comfilite denture. I emailed her two more times to get the exact cost of my denture but she failed to respond. BEWARE...these practices are intentional!

Aspen Dental Total Nightmare of Poorly Fitting Dentures

Had to replace my lower dentures so made an appointment with Aspen Dental--should have read reviews first! Took 2 weeks to get the denture but it was too big. Was told to give it 2 weeks but couldn't give it 2 days. She actually pushed it into my mouth and I told her it hurt and was too big. It actually brought tears to my eyes. She never tried to adjust them at all! I called to complain and it took me 1 1/2 hours for them to answer. Got no satisfaction except be told that their phone flashes and doesn't ring. What!? Called another Aspen in another city where they told me to come in and that they could definitely help me. Just went today, was there an hour but walked out a happy patient with teeth that fit! I if I had checked reviews, I would never have made an appointment with the one in Onalaska, WI! They were terrible from the get go!

Aspen Dental No pain medication called in.

I originally had an appointment scheduled for a Thursday two weeks ago. The morning of the appointment Aspen Dental staff contacted me to reschedule as the Oral surgeon had to to be seen in the emergency room. As I understand this is something that can happen to anyone, I gracefullly accepted the next scheduled date I was given which happen to be on a Saturday morning. As their web sites and offices will tell you, Aspen Dental is typically closed on the weekends. My assumption is this is the day that this particular Dr. rescheduled all of her patients that she had to cancel that were scheduled the same day mine was cancelled. The extraction and implant for an anchor for my partial as far as I was told, went well. I was ushered out of the office after having been under with Versed, Ketsmine and propalol( If these medications

are required for the procedure being performed , you can guarantee pain medication will be required later.) Before leaving, the dental assistant verified my pharmacy and it's address. My Dr. proceeded to tell me the medications she was calling in for me and that I would need a follow up for suture removal. I live an hour away from the office. Minutes before passing my pharmacy, my husband contacted the pharmacy to see if my prescriptions had been called in. They were not. My husband then attempted to call the office to find out how soon we could expect the prescriptions to be called as one was a pain medication I would soon be needing. Because this was a Saturday, no one answered the phone. There are no options for after hour emergencies for current patients given. Because it was still early, we hoped the Aspen staff would still be calling in my prescriptions before they left that day. Pharmacy hours came and went, no medications were called in for me. As all the local anesthesia wore off, the pain of course increased. Currently, I have been home taking over the counter ibuprofen and using cold and hot packs to try and relieve this horrible pain. I went back to the website to see if maybe they had an after hours emergency number listed. They did not. I did see a 1-800 number listed in blue and tried that. (I should note, Aspen Dental states if you find yourself in this position, in extreme pain after hours, you should go to the Emergency Room. I personally cannot afford to be seen in the E.R for this, causing me to pay hundreds of not a thousand or more for pain medication to be given to me there and possibly a prescription for pain medication that I should already be home and using !) Upon calling this number, within it's message, I was given the number I was looking for. This was around 1:20-1:30 am am. I am typing this at 2 am in the morning. My procedure was at 10 am yesterday morning. The operator who assisted me at approximately 2:50 am told me she would be contacting the on call physician immediately (as I explained to her the best I could as I can barely move my jaw due to the extreme pain.) It is now 3:17am and I have yet to hear from this on call physician. This is not how you treat patients who trusted you for the dental work required, trusted your word when it was verified and explained to the patient that pain medication as well as other required medication was being called in for them. This is not how you treat a patient who has just paid you $3,000.00 for the work that was done. I checked my email, Aspen Dental made sure to send me the date and time for my follow up exam but could not take the time to ensure their patient would be as comfortable as possible by calling the medications required into the pharmacy that they verified by name and address! What price should be put on leaving a patient who had extensive work at your facilities, in extreme pain? I am still waiting on a phone call from the on call Dr. !

Aspen Dental Shut this place down!

10/27/23

This place is the worst! They should be shut down!

Had apt 10/12 for filing, crown, 3 extractions. Received call from office at noon confirming apt. At 4pm I get a call advising they didnt have a dentist on staff that does extractions! They cancelled my apt and rescheduled it during this call to fri 10/20 for filing, fri 10/27 for crown and 11/2 for extractions. Get to office at 8am this morn to be told they dont have me scheduled today! This place is the most incompetent business i've ever been to! They don't give any [censored]s as to how much they screw you over! This is now 2 times i've taken off work for scheduled apt only to be told they cant do the work! There is a reason they can't keep any dentist's employed here! Save yourself time amd pain amd go to a credible dentist! This place will only jerk u around and fail to provide service!

7/2023

If I could give zero stars that would be over rating the plover location! I was seen for xrays/consult 5/31. As I was leaving I was told their system was down and they would call in an hour to let me know what my out of pocket for my services would be and to schedule those. Noone ever called. It's been over a month, i've called and left numerous messages only to never receive a call back! My insurance says there was never a bill/claim submitted from aspen. Today I did finally get thru only to be told there are no doctors at this location indefinitely and basically I need to reestablish care somewhere else! So i've sat here for over a month in pain waiting for these jackoffs to simply pick up the phone only now to have to wait months to even get into another dentist!

Aspen Dental Disease

I went in to get a tooth fixed and a hygienist told the person next me that he had stage 1 gum disease. Then came to me and checked me mouth and told me that I had stage 1 gum disease. First I wasn’t in there for someone to check after I had my work already done First my regular dentist just did the same check four months ago and I wasn’t even close to having gum disease.. also my regular dentist just double checked it and still not even close.

My review DON'T GO THERE DON'T BRING YOUR DOG THERE! There is not one good thing I can say maybe the office was clean. The only agenda they have is to get as much money from you has humanly possibly. They don't care if patients can't afford it they will find a way to get money from you. They say don't worry about it medical bills don't effect your credit! If that's what they are telling uneducated people regarding there finances they will find a way to get it from it. Maybe billing for things you don't know anything about.

Aspen Dental Lacks professionalism

Outstanding administrative incompetence that I would avoid at all costs. The dental services were fair, but there is no way they can carry all the weight with such a lack of professionalism in the office. We should have left after the first experience, but the Dr was good, and so was the tech (otherwise I would give 0 stars). We only decided to go there because it was close to home and our insurance was expiring soon, so they booked us without issue, which made it convenient. I regret not leaving after the first visit because it took 4 months to resolve a billing issue that nearly went into collections, which was a mistake on their part in the charging. I will not go into all the details of our experiences but We returned to complete the procedure that we started. The dental care was fine as I mentioned but, unfortunately, its completely overshadowed by the lack of professionalism in the admin and the unwillingness or interest to provide common customer service skills. We spent endless time following up with things that should have been brought to our attention but weren't. Our calls and emails were repeatedly not answered, even when they had no patients in the office. Finally, we are glad to leave today after receiving a digital copy of our X-rays which only came a month after submitting an authorization form that was supposed to take 5-10 business days to process. 4 weeks later: Two phone calls,2 emails and an in-office visit asking for them even did not resolve this and they act as if noth happene and they nearly never reply. Yesterday they finally send the X-rays to us by email after going there to follow up but when received half of them were missing. I responded by asking them to send the complete file which they responded with the missing half without acknowledgement or an explanation or a word to take responsibility for their mistake.

Although, it is to be expected from service industries that are centralized and run by equity funds by streamlining systems to increase efficacies and profits, which Aspen seems to be. At least hire trained professionals or you overstep the point of diminishing returns as this place has. Also, to be expected, equity firms do not care about the service they provide, they only look after their bottom line, so, it is advantageous to hire unskilled labor and provide a false image to the public of having customer service by hiring online content monitors to respond to reviews. I complete farce.

We will Avoid Aspen Dental and tell everyone to as well. Now we will take the time to find a family-run dental office that still operates according to the values of providing clients a service that they care about and stand behind.

Aspen Dental Unnecessary Dental Work: My Disappointing Experience at Aspen Dental

I've been to many dentists over the years, and even a periodontist, and they've all told me the same thing - my teeth are incredibly clean. Some have even been blown away by the level of homecare I provide for my teeth. The periodontist who did my gum transplant was convinced that the recession was caused by aggressive brushing, NOT periodontal disease. He also told me that despite the fact that I have pockets up to 7mm deep, my gums show NO sign of periodontal disease. They are a healthy pink - not red, not sore, and not bleeding.

However, my recent experience at Aspen Dental was not a positive one. I went in for a repair of a broken crown, but the hygienist and dentist insisted that I schedule a deep scaling to clean the "infection" below my gum line before they would repair my crown. They claimed that it would be unethical to repair the crown without the cleaning, stating that the exposed tooth was beginning to decay. They quoted me over $900 for the cleaning and over $1,100 for the crown repair.

I was skeptical of their diagnosis, as I had no symptoms of an infection. My gums were not red, sore, or swollen, and they did not bleed when I brushed and flossed them. I believe that an infection without symptoms is not an infection at all. Every mouth on Earth is full of bacteria, so their claim seemed like a load of crap to me.

I left Aspen Dental feeling frustrated and disappointed. I trust a seasoned periodontist running a private practice and getting close to retirement before I trust some hygienist trained by a greedy corporate dental office. These people held my crown repair hostage to unnecessary dental work, so I decided to look for a private practitioner who isn't trying to impress a CEO with all the money they're making while taking advantage of frightened, desperate patients.

Overall, my experience at Aspen Dental was not a good one. I was disappointed in their diagnosis and their insistence on unnecessary dental work. The only positive thing was that they didn't charge me for the first (and final!) visit, which entailed x-rays and an exam. I would not recommend Aspen Dental to anyone looking for quality dental care.

Aspen Dental Aspen Dental's Billing Department is a Nightmare: A Warning to Others

I went to Aspen Dental in March of 2018 to get my teeth cleaned and to fix a tooth that was causing me a lot of pain. It was a weekend, and I had never been to this dental office before. When I arrived, they told me that I would have to come back to see the dentist the following month. I was in a lot of pain, and no one was there to help me. When I finally got an appointment, they did something completely different than what I had asked for, and they charged me an astronomical price for it. I paid the bill in full, but to this day, in January 2019, Aspen Dental is still billing me for services that I have already paid for. It's really frustrating and should not be happening.

I have tried to reach out to Aspen Dental and the main company, but they are still harassing me about a bill that I have already paid in full. I think the problem is with their billing department. I have even contacted the Better Business Bureau about this matter. I want to warn others to keep all of their receipts and to be careful when dealing with Aspen Dental.

I am deeply disappointed and an unsatisfied customer. Aspen Dental needs to let this situation go because it was not my fault as a customer. They have a problem with their billing department, and it's causing a lot of frustration for their customers. When a company stamps "paid in full" on a bill, it should be binding. I hope that Aspen Dental can resolve this issue soon so that I can move on and find a dental office that I can trust.

Aspen Dental Aspen Dental in Canton, Michigan: A Terrible Experience with Long Wait Times and Pushy Sales Tactics

I gotta say, I ain't never gonna set foot in that Aspen Dental office again! My whole family, all five of us, have been going there for a year now, and every dang time we gotta wait at least two hours past our appointment time just to be seen. And today, July 21, 2021, was the last straw for me. I scheduled my appointment for 8:00 a.m. - the earliest time they had - and even confirmed it by email and phone five days ago. But when I got there, they told me my appointment was actually for 9:00 a.m. and that I hadn't even confirmed it! I showed them my phone with the call log and everything, but they wouldn't budge. I was so mad I had to take a deep breath just to keep from screaming at them. I told them we ain't never coming back and that they've wasted way too much of our time already.

And it ain't just the wait times, either. Every time I scheduled appointments for my three sons and my husband, Aspen Dental would call me up and try to change the day or time. And they're always trying to sell us on their dang braces, even though all of our teeth are straight and white already. They even sent me five emails yesterday about Invisalign! And when I needed my sons' X-rays sent to the oral surgeon, I had to ask them four times before they finally said they'd do it. But guess what? They never did! I had to wait three months and then take my boys to the oral surgeon's office to get new X-rays taken. What a bunch of crooks!

I'm telling you, that Aspen Dental office on Ford Road in Canton, Michigan is the worst dentist office I've ever been to. They don't care about their patients, they just want to make a quick buck. I'm gonna tell everyone I know not to go there, and I'm gonna write this review on every dang website I can find. And I'm gonna call up their corporate office and give 'em a piece of my mind, too. Aspen Dental, you should be ashamed of yourselves for hiring such terrible employees.

Aspen Dental Avoid Aspen Dental: Dishonest Practices and Overcharging Customers

Aspen Dental is a dental office that claims to offer free services, but in reality, they are not as honest as they seem. In August 2021, when most dental offices were scheduling far and few appointments due to Covid, Aspen Dental offered free x-rays and full mouth exams to lure in customers. I fell for this and decided to give them a try. However, my complete plan would cost me $2303 after insurance, which seemed like a lot to my family and friends. I had to save up for my portion before any work could be done.

Finally, in December, I was able to pay my share of the bill. But when I called to set my appointment, the staff was not honest with me. They told me that my responsibility before work could be performed would be $3302, which was $1000 more than my total. When I asked for a call back from the person who sat me down in a hidden office with the door shut, pen in hand, asking for my credit card and signature, I never received a call back. All my calls were being directed to voicemail, and I never received a returned call.

Finally, on December 30, 2021, I was able to contact a receptionist who told me that there was no way to get anything started until the following year, even for a teeth cleaning. She requested that I pay my portion to schedule an appointment, but I could not agree. I asked for my dental x-rays to take to another dentist, and she agreed to let me pick them up directly from the office that day at 2 PM. However, when I arrived, she told me that the copier was broken, and she was the only person there that day. She promised to call me the next day to let me know if the copier had been fixed, but she never did.

I called her back, and she told me that the copier was still broken, and they were closing early that day. When I asked for the corporate phone number, she said that she couldn't find it. Fortunately, I was able to get into another dentist, and my bill was nearly $2000 less than Aspen Dental's. When I questioned this, I was shown on my bill that Aspen was charging double for some things and charging my insurance as well as myself for others.

In my opinion, Aspen Dental should be avoided. If they are willing to steal from me, they will steal from you too. Thank you for reading.

Aspen Dental Terrible Customer Service at Aspen Dental in Olive Branch, MS: A Review

Our experience at Aspen Dental was not good at all. We went there for our regular cleaning and checkup, and it was our first time at this dental clinic. The young receptionist was friendly and polite, but things went downhill from there.

When we went in for the checkup, they started with the X-rays, which is standard practice. However, I told them that my child had already had X-rays this year, and I didn't think my insurance would cover another X-ray. They said they would check my insurance and let me know if one had been billed this year. We were then placed in a waiting area while they checked.

Two employees came back with a list of my insurance coverage and told me that one had already been billed this year, but they wouldn't accept X-rays from any other place. I had the previous dentist office on the phone, and they told me they had not billed for this X-ray but had taken a panoramic X-ray recently and offered to email it to Aspen Dental immediately. They gave me a printout of my insurance information, and I couldn't see this information anywhere. The employees were very snotty and tried to prove that my insurance had already done an X-ray but weren't being truthful.

We had to take the X-ray to get the cleaning today, and if our insurance didn't cover it, I would have to pay $129 for it. I wish they had told me this before the appointment.

The second employee said that she had called my ex-husband last night, and he was very rude to her and said, "why are you blowing up my phone." My child heard the entire conversation and spoke up and stood up for his dad and said he hadn't been rude to them. At this point, we had already been there for 40 minutes before we got called back. The lady said, "well just because you got here early doesn't mean you'll be seen early." I understand that, but it was 40 minutes after our appointment time already.

Then they told me that they don't see patients under age 14, but yet the children's ages were given when the appointment was made, and that was not mentioned. They blamed this issue on the call center and made me feel like it was my fault. The two employees were very rude, condescending, and incredibly unprofessional. The office manager, Jessica Christopoulus, tried to step in and save them, but she came off with an attitude as well.

I would not recommend Aspen Dental. After doing some research, I found out that Aspen has a rating of 1.4 out of 5 and appears to have a history of overcharging people. The customer service at the Olive Branch, MS office was terrible.

Aspen Dental Aspen Dental: A Nightmare Experience with Poor Fitting Dentures and Unprofessional Service

I had my teeth removed back in July of 2021 and I'm still having trouble wearing my dentures. My first visit to Aspen Dental went pretty well. They told me that I had a root tip that needed to be removed and that it would be taken care of during the surgery. They even made teeth for me to wear after my teeth were removed. However, these teeth were too big for me and I had to go back several times to try and get them to fit. They used soft liners, but they were still too big. Then, I started getting sick and went to the ER and my doctor twice. It turned out that I was very constipated because my diet was lacking in everything since I hadn't had any teeth for two and a half months.

I went to the office manager and told her that I wanted new temporary teeth that fit. She left the office and came back after talking to someone and said that they couldn't do that. I told her that I wanted my money back and they changed their tune and scheduled an appointment to get new ones made. I'm not really sure how teeth are fitted, but they put some type of goop on the old dentures and made impressions that way. This was in the latter part of September, and about four weeks later, they called and said that they were ready. I went in so excited, only to find out that they were only wax and that they needed to fit them and adjust them to make the real ones. I finally got them a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving, but I still couldn't wear them because the pallet was so long that I gagged every time I put them in. The glue didn't work for some unknown reason, and I could only wear them for four hours a day at the most.

In between all of this, I had a problem with my upper left gum hanging down the length of a molar. That's probably why my dentures wouldn't stay in my mouth. I told the girls every time I was there, which was too many times, but it just went in one ear and out the other. Now, we're in January of 2022, and I finally saw the dentist for the third time since he removed my teeth. He tried to tell me that it was bone that had fallen because I hadn't worn my dentures. But I had teeth removed from that area at least 15 years before that! He told me that I would have to have the bone shaved down or something so that they would fit. I had only been trying to figure out what it was since September, and no one told me.

So, I had an appointment two weeks ago to have the surgery done, but I couldn't go in because I was called into work. I went in today because I had pain and swelling where the root tip was removed. It turned out that he had never taken it out when he removed my teeth. Now, it's abscessed up inside, and he would not take it out. He said that I didn't come in for my appointment, but my appointment was for the bone removal. The root tip was supposed to have been taken out during surgery. He referred me to an oral surgeon to have it and the bone removed. So now, I sit with an abscess waiting to see someone else. He screwed up and tried to blame it on me. He has left me hanging, and he's a poor excuse for a dentist. This is the Richmond, KY branch. My husband and I had to finance some money through Care Credit, which we'll be paying on for many months to come. They are all a bunch of liars.

THIS IS HORRIBLE! Wish I had read this, before I started my journey with them. These temporary partials are not comfortable at all! I'm still waiting on my $135 refund for a toothbrush that I never asked for. I returned the toothbrush in June, and I still have yet to receive my refund :(

Aspen Dental Captivating and Heartfelt: A Review of The Kite Runner

I actually thought I'd finally found a dentist that would provide good & affordable svc. I received neither. At the beginning the 1st female staff ( don't remember her name, but was blond, slim and had a very bubbly personality). She whitened my teeth. No problem; i was very satisfied. However, the 1st issue i encountered was when i was provided a temporary crown & given a sch'd appt to return to have the permanent crown inserted; however, was instructed to come in if the temporary crown comes out, at which someone would be able to reinsert or insert the permanent crown if it has arrived. Well the temporary crown popped out while I was eating so I quickly telephoned & was told NP just stop by when you can and one of the staff can reset the temporary crown or put in your permanent if we have received it.
Well I decided to stop by during my lunch break, as I was working from home. To make a long story short, although my permanent crown had arrived, my temporary crown was reinserted, and when I asked why my permanent crown is not being inserted, this unprofessional female staff without any office or social skills; let alone office etiquettes told me "we're about to go to lunch". Really? Never was I ever told that the entire office takes lunch together at the same time as I have never experienced a medical facility with entire staff going on lunch. Usually if you're a first time patient you're given the office hours of operation & informed that no one would be available during such & such time, due to lunch. I get that & would not have had any problem with that; had that information was conveyed to me; but it was not. 2nd encounter happened surrounding
My appt that was sch'd at 8 AM on a Monday (when im off) thus, my appt was then later changed w/o my knowledge to 10 am. Never did anyone call me to ask if that would be OK that they changed my appointment. So no, I was not OK with my appointment being changed & w/o my knowledge. 3rd & 4th encounter broke the camels back. I arrived to my appt "2" minutes late and when I approach the desk there was a new employee sitting at the front desk on the phone; I stood there & waited patiently until she completed her phone call
(I had no problem standing & waiting); but, instead of her asking the caller can she place them on hold so that she can check in a patient that just walked in; she did neither, instead she looked at me with a very disgusted face w/ an attitude asking me "can I help you"? I said yes, I have a 8 o'clock appt & before I could even give her my name she asked (with an attitude) what is your name? I gave her my name; then she said "ok you can have a seat ill check you in". Meanwhile she's still on the phone. So i basically didn't get call back to be seen until a little after 8:30. I don't know who on the other end of the telephone call had upset her, but I really felt as if she was projecting that onto me at that time. Finally, the prices are "NOT" affordable. They make you believe it is because they offer carecredit & other options. Either way the bill still has to be paid.
Overall the hygienist that manages the grand prairie texas hwy 161 location was awesome; unfortunately the staff; especially the Africa American new employee
Staff at the front desk needs office etiquette and customer service training if they're wanting to work with the public or else they need to find another hobby.

Aspen Dental Aspen Dental: Insurance Scammers and Money-Hungry Thieves

I started going to Aspen Dental about a year ago and at first, everything seemed to be going well. I needed new dentures and they offered me several different options, with the lowest cost being the first and the third being the highest and supposed to be the best quality. Of course, I chose the third option, which carried a 7-year warranty and paid close to $2000 out of pocket after insurance.

After receiving my finished dentures, I went back seven times because the bite wasn't matching up and the dentist was hurting my mouth. Each time they did a little filing here and there, but it didn't correct the problem. Eventually, I just stopped going. A year later, while I was babysitting, my front tooth fell out. I wasn't eating or doing anything when I noticed something in my mouth. It was the tooth!

I called Aspen Dental and told them that I had a warranty and that it had only been a year. They got me in right away and told me that they would have to examine me to see if the repair was their fault or mine. To see if it would be covered under warranty, I went in and when I got to the desk, they had me sign a paper telling me to charge me my co-pay for the exam. I went back in the room and handed the dentist a baggy containing the loose tooth and my top dentures. She took it back and I heard her speak to the lab tech, asking if the lab could fix the problem. The lab tech said they could and told me to come back in an hour and a half to pick up my teeth.

I left the office and when I returned, I asked them if my insurance was billed for an exam. They said yes, because the repair wasn't my fault and it was a bundled warranty, so I wouldn't have to pay for the repair, but I had to pay for the exam. I said, "Who examined me?" They said the doctor had to examine the teeth to see if they were fixable. I said, "No, the doctor didn't examine the teeth. The dental tech took the teeth back to the lab tech and asked the lab tech if they could fix them. Nobody examined me or anything else." They got really offended and said it was their policy and that basically, they weren't trying to hear any other things. The exam was billed to my insurance and it took out of the yearly allowance maximum loans that the dentist costs. So, I don't understand why I would be getting charged for an exam when the warranty covers the mistake in the teeth caused by you.

I then called back up to Aspen Dental and asked them if the warranty was on the teeth or if it was only through their facility. They said the warranty is only through them, so to get anything done on my dentures, I have to go there. The warranty is 7 years when I was told in the beginning it was 10 years. They are insurance scammers.

They then connected me to the finance lady or a manager, whatever, who stated that there was nothing that I could basically think could be done about it. That's their policy and that was that. So, I ended up being charged for an exam when I was never examined, and the damage to the teeth was their mistake from the glue. Now, if I want work done on my dentures, I have to go there. I should have known when they gave me a root canal and charged me, then three weeks later, when the tooth had to be pulled because it was too close to the nerve, they charged me for that too when I, in the beginning, told them just to pull the tooth. They are horrible, money-hungry thieves.

Aspen Dental Aspen Dental on Main Street in Suffolk, VA: Poor Quality Dentures and Horrible Patient Care

I gotta say, these review sites need to allow for ZERO or NEGATIVE stars! I've been a patient at Aspen Dental on Main Street in Suffolk, VA for about 2 years now. Dr. Turkewitz, the owner/operator, was the one who took care of me when I needed to have my last 4 upper teeth removed due to my moderate osteo dentia imperfecta. I had always tried to save my teeth, but it was all for naught. Dr. Turkewitz was fantastic and my healing and final dentures were made in a great time frame. However, I don't feel like I got the best denture that I paid for. It's been almost a year now and it STILL feels foreign and fits POORLY.

Just recently, I called the office on 01/05/2022 in MASSIVE pain from a loose and infected tooth. I was literally IN TEARS. But guess what? They told me I couldn't be seen until 1 PM on 01/13/2022. When I finally got there, I was made to PRE-PAY $118.00 in cash for the visit. I was taken back about 15 minutes after I arrived and explained to the tech what my issue was. I showed her the tooth, showed her how loose it was, and how aggravated the gum around it was. She took some X-Rays and said "Oh, I see the problem. It's the 2 back molars here, they're infected". Um, EXCUSE ME? No. And here's why: Teeth 18 & 19 were root canaled OVER 2 DECADES AGO - the fillings for those teeth fell out 8 & 5 years ago, respectively. They have never caused any pain or issues, tooth 20 was the problem.

Then, in walks the doctor, a Dr. Young, and she proceeds to tell me the same thing Leslie did. I argued with her. She then tells me that she's going to put me on anti-biotics and I'll have to come back in a few days for the extractions. What? I have NEVER had to be treated with anti-biotics BEFORE AN EXTRACTION. But whatever... she's the professional, right? At check-out, I was informed that I would have to pre-pay for my next appointment...$654.00! Whatever... I was in pain.

While not denying that those 2 teeth needed to come out EVENTUALLY since I'll be getting lower dentures in the not too distant future, they didn't necessarily need to come out NOW. As long as she was going to pull the tooth that was causing me pain, I was willing to do it all at once. So I went back, AGAIN, 01/18/2022 for the extractions. When it was all said and done, she ONLY pulled 18 & 19, didn't touch 20, and then REFUSED to give me an RX for pain meds. She assured me that the pain would be gone. 7 hours later, once the novacaine was completely worn off, guess what? Still had the pain! In the tooth that I said it was!

I emailed their office and corporate that night. I got a phone call from them on 01/19/2022 apologizing that I was in pain and wanted to know what they could do. I told them that Dr. Young should have listened to her patient and pulled the correct tooth, that this was not my 1st rodeo with dental issues. After a short hold, I was informed that "Dr. Young can fit you in to her schedule next week to look at it". Really? I just paid these people almost $800 IN CASH and was STILL in pain and was being told I had to wait! I told them I was going to call a REAL DENTIST and I wanted my money back.

I ended up calling Dr. Demsko in Windsor, VA, was seen today, had the problem tooth removed and now my pain is gone. I have left MULTIPLE messages for both the Office and Corporate in regards to wanting my money back and have heard NOTHING. These people truthfully are scam artists and HORRIBLE at patient care. I wish I would have seen all of this info regarding their shady history before I ever went there the 1st time. All together, I have spent just over $5,000.00 with them, have a denture that is poor quality and fits horribly and was treated like S&>T during my last ordeal with them.

Honestly, Aspen Dental needs to be shut down. Corporations have NO business being in charge of Medical Care.

Aspen Dental Unprofessional Staff and Exorbitant Fees: My Experience at Aspen Dental in Orlando, FL

I recently visited Aspen Dental located at 2511 S. Orange Ave, Orlando, FL for a general maintenance cleaning. I have Cigna dental insurance and was asked to pay $107 upfront before being called into the hygienist's office. Upon entering, I noticed that the hygienist was playing music and not concentrating on her job. I politely asked if she was allowed to play music and she responded by saying that they can do whatever they want at Aspen Dental. I requested that she turn off the music as I expected a thorough cleaning job for the amount I paid with my insurance covering the majority.

The hygienist completed the cleaning job in less than 20 minutes, which I felt was not done properly. I requested that a dentist check her work, but she claimed that she did not need a dentist to check her work. After waiting for around 10 minutes, the dentist arrived and claimed that the hygienist had done an amazing cleaning job without even checking my teeth. I felt cheated and requested to speak with their supervisor.

The office manager listened to my concerns but refused to return my money as the payment had already been processed. I also requested my dental records and x-ray, but they refused to give them to me until I completed a form and waited for 20 business days. I felt that the entire office was behaving in an allegedly cheating way and charged me 3 or 4 times more than any other dental offices I have visited.

I strongly believe that Aspen Dental hires unprofessional staff, including the hygienist and the fake dentist who made a false claim without even checking my teeth. I question which dental program the dentist graduated from and feel that she has no dentist moral value at all. The hygienist also needs a lot of training for her manners, attitude, and job. I strongly request that their supervisor checks whether they have really graduated from a dental service program.

In conclusion, I would not recommend Aspen Dental to anyone as they charge exorbitant fees for a very general cleaning job and hire unprofessional staff. I feel cheated and frustrated with their services and would never return to this office for any dental cleaning later on.

On Jan 11th 2024 I went to aspen dental in Bluffton SC. The tech that was putting in temporary tooth was sick, and sniffiling. When she put the cement on the tooth to hold it in place she used an excessive amount. It was spread all over the two teeth next to the temp. I mentioned it and she scraped some off. I still had a coating on the the tooth behind it...

Aspen always asks for payment upfront. I had a tooth pulled and two weeks later I had my teeth cleaned. Both of these were scheduled at the same time, and I paid for them both at the same time in the amount of 147.00. 3 weeks later I get a bill and it shows I owe 136.20, And then I get my dental statement from my insurance, and I truly only had to pay 53.00...

Aspen Dental Dec.18 2023 I was ripped off by aspen

Dang, this makes you feel so dumb, I paid Aspen for 2 implants. $8,000. Because the dentist at Aspen could not read my exray at all. I need to go somewhere. Aspen kept $360 out my money. So, last week I went to see a different dentist. The office let me sit for the exray. This dentist was able read my exray. Aspen 100% should not keep my money.

Sincerely,

Kathleen Prior [protected]

Claimed loss: $360

Desired outcome: get my money back

Aspen Dental billing

After 8 months I received a bill from Defiance Ohio. I called them and they said they are not responsible for billing. I have called every number I can find about Aspen and was on hold till my arm fell asleep. So here I go again Earlier this week 2/25 I received a bill for services that were for 6/2/2023. This is the first I had heard of it. Aspen is always good about doing things without my knowledge or permission. This must of been one of those things so bill me 8 months later and expect to pay.

Claimed loss: $139.00

Desired outcome: I feel I should not have to pay for something 8months old when I have never heard of this before
