I have gotten repeated calls on my mobile and landline phones from this company. I have told them many times that I am not interested and to stop calling me. The conversations were tantamount to harassment, as they refused to take "no" for an answer, and I had to hang up on them. I just got another call, and I said to them, "I have told you people to stop calling me, I am not interested". His response was "why?" I abruptly hung up at that time.

Desired outcome: I want the phone calls to stop!

American Income Life Insurance Cancellation of policies.

I sent in the required documentation on April 4th, 2023, so all three of the policies that I currently have would be cancelled and so that I would receive the cash value. I have not received any correspondence as a result and when I call the home office, they transfer me to the department for cancelling the policies. When I spoke to someone, they confirmed that the documents had been received on April 5th, 2023, however, my policies are still open? The representative then putting me on hold to attempt to call and rectify the issue, however, we were disconnected. I keep calling back home office and having to explain and this is getting ridiculous.

My name is Steffanie Morgan and my contact number is: [protected]

Desired outcome: Have someone call me and send me the cash value of ALL three of my policies.

American Income Life Insurance Life insurance

My father had 2 policies with American life insurance. He passed away in December of 2022 it is now the end of April 2023 and we still haven’t received his benefits. My mother was the beneficiary but they said she wasn’t able to claim them. Took them 3 months to explain to her they just need a form notarized and filled out from me and my brother. They received it the beginning of April. I have been calling every week for 4 weeks and no one is able to give me any answers on why my and my brother haven’t heard or received anything yet.

Desired outcome: Just to collect my dads life insurance

American Income Life Insurance Service Representatives

For 3 Years Straight in a Row, AIL has been calling me telling me that, "I have FREE extended benefits" through a friend that does have insurance through them.

They harass me and automatically set up a video conference date with me and without my permission or consent. When I tell them that I am not interested, they do not listen.

They tell you some of the "FREE" Benefits that you get and then try and sell you life insurance. You tell them that you are not interested, and they don't listen and try to push you or coerce you.

This is not the way that Companies should operate. Shame on you AIL.

American Income Life Insurance Nikki Allen-Blenman- [protected]-policy #

I have two polices with this company which I'm the insured on both polices. Both polices were cancelled without my consent and knowledge. I noticed that my polices were cancelled once I realized that my automatic withdraw was less than the original amount monthly. I contacted both offices including headquarter; never received a resolution just excuses. Today, I received a letter stating that my polices were lost. How could this be possible, this month payment was withdraw from my account. This is so unfair to me and my family. I've had this police from 2018 and as of today, I'm not covered. This need to be handled asap. Someone needs to contact me asap [protected]

Desired outcome: fix my police

American Income Life Insurance Life insurance claim

On November 29, 2021 American Income Life Insurance policy # [protected] holder, Crystal Jean Carmichael Passed away. Both beneficiaries listed on her policy preceded her in death. American Income Life issued a check for the proceeds of the policy to "The Estate of Crystel Jean Carmichael" telling the only Hier he needed to open a probate in the jurisdiction where Miss Carmichael died. Because her estate is under $150,000 the State of California Probate Code13100-13115 only requires an "AFFIDAVIT" to be filled out and signed stating the Names of the Heirs to her estate.

Miss Carmichael was an unmarried woman, with no natural born or adopted children. She left a will, leaving everything to her nephew Jonathon Seidel.

All proper paperwork, death certificate, legal I.D. for Jonathon Seidel, Affidavit of small estate and a letter explaining and affirming he is the sole heir to the estate. He asked for the beneficiary check to be re-issued in his name. Instead they sent the policy information over to their "Unclaimed Property Division. They asked for an additional form to be filled out. This has taken months to try to get resolved.

Desired outcome: Looking at the time limits under the Texas law, in resolving claim issues, this has exceeded them in every aspect. There is no reason this matter hasn't be corrected and a new check issued in the name of Jonathon Seidel.

American Income Life Insurance non stop telemarketing calls

Several years ago, I was an emergency contact for a roommate that had American Income Life insurance. ever since then, I have been receiving non-stop calls from them trying to get me to start service with them. they have refused to add my number to the do not contact list no matter how many times I have asked. When I demand to speak to a supervisor or higher up, I am hung up on. I have considered filing a lawsuit for harassment.

Desired outcome: I would like them to never contact me again.

American Income Life Insurance Phone call after phone call after phone call!!!

6/6/2022 around 7:30 to 8:00 PM. Phone calls for months on end.

American Income Life has become an annoyance and a pest to us. They have called and called and called. We do not want to talk to them, we do not want them to come to our home to try to sell us additional insurance with their high pressure sales people.

We have ignored so many calls. They start calling with 3 successive calls in a row. Last night my husband answered and told them we did not want to talk to someone about our insurance plan and to please stop calling. He was told that they would never stop calling. We finally made an appointment we don't want so they will get off our backs. My husband who has very severe anxiety and depression went off the wall after the phone call and was awake all night. This is not OK! We would never suggest anyone get this insurance and feel strongly that we need to be left alone!

Desired outcome: Leave us alone!!! We are happy with the policy we have. We don't need high pressure sales people here yearly trying to sell us more!!! my husband can't handle this!!!!!

American Income Life Insurance Unwanted solicitation

I keep receiving unwanted calls from American Insurance, saying I have a policy with them. Since neither I nor my husband have ever heard of them, I hung up. However, they keep calling me back! They called me twice daily for the entire week of February 9th, 2022. The most recent time, February 19, they called me from a different number. I told them we don’t have any policy with this company, and hung up. The he called me again! This is harassment, and I am angry.

Desired outcome: I want them to stop contacting me.

Okay, I completely understand how you feel, so as some one who works in this field, when they call verify the information they have on file. They would be able to give general information and it may be a case of the have the wrong person. Next if all the information is correct agree to met so that way they can show you the policy. That way you know what you have. This will give you the desired out come.

American Income Life Insurance Insurance customer calls returned

I originally called to change my billing cycle. I called at least 4 times where I was put on hold for busy times. No matter when I called, there was always a 5 to 10 minutes wait. Today, i decided to cancel because if I have this much trouble getting through, I hate to see my claim problems. Today 10/20 I decided to hang in there. First general number I was on hold for 10 minutes before Cody answered. I stated I wanted to cancel my policy. He ran me through a battery of questions before he would transfer me to the cancellation dept. When Cody finally transferred me, I was on hold for 21 minutes. Determined to leave this fake company, the person who answered finally ran through the same battery of questions. I stated the reason for leaving was extremely poor customer service. She indicated she would mail me the forms. I objected because you have my email address, send it that way. The rep stated it would take 24 to 48 hours to EMAIL me the forms. This company is a sham.

Desired outcome: Cancel my insurance policies

American Income Life Insurance Final expense, whole life

This company told me -Terrance salesperson - that I would have $5000 for final expense. For the accident policy they took $53.42 out of my checking account and after cancelling that policy returned only $17.25.

But after calling to check, was told my beneficiary would only get $1, 000.

But continued to harass me by email about,

Not having policy number on form
Birthdate not matching - Terrance messed up my birthdays!
Made me resend form birth certificate and driver's license

Company obviously cannot be trusted!

Desired outcome: Cancel policy [protected] and return the remaining $36.17 to my account!

American Income Life Insurance Insurance

I have recently closed my policy with American Income Life . I had received a text message from one of their alleged representatives about an error in my paperwork which I had been paying for about a year at this point. I called the company and received no resolution to my complaint. I am seeking the money I had paid to this policy up to that point. I complained to the better business bureau and they went through the motions and were of no use and just closed out my complaint without notifying me . I had to go online and find out this information myself.

Desired outcome: Refund of $71x12 months

American Income Life Insurance problems with re-issuing check in u.s currency

My name is Anice Echeverri, the policy is under my maiden name Bailey. The policy number is Policy CD9703775 and the insurer name was Shaina Anakay. I am the beneficiary of my niece's policy. She passed away in March 2020, and we provided the necessary information needed to file the claim. The policy was opened in Canada, so when the check was issued, it was in Canadian dollars. I live in the U.S, and I was unable to change the check due to it being in a different currency. I contacted American Income Life Insurance in July 2020, and I was told to send the check back so that it back be re-issued in U.S currency. American Income Life Insurance received the check on August 28, 2020. I called several times and was told to give them more time to see if the check can be issued in U.S dollars. It's been over a month, and I am still getting the run around.

American Income Life Insurance Unpaid life / health insurance agent - oregon

I was hired in February 2020 on a license-contingent basis. I received my Oregon Life/Health Insurance license in May 2020, LC663.

I have attended countless mandatory training meetings, and many hours booking insurance presentations for other agents. I have not been paid for more than $41.00 for a small commission on the sale.

What is my legal recourse? Demand minimum wage of $12.50/hour since February 2020?

Please advise, thank you
Janice E. Jones

You don't have any recourse unfortunately. This job, no matter what they told you when you were hired, is a 1099, meaning you work only on commission. There's no hourly pay or salary, no paid training or reimbursements, although they may tell you that when you're hired. Hopefully you have realized this already and have found other employment. Chalk this up to a life lesson and always research a company before joining, especially one that may have contacted you first.

American Income Life Insurance hiring

I submitted my resume for a marketing management position. I was called for an interview. I googled the address they gave me and it was a marketing agency that was listed. First of all the agency was wholly unprofessional. The receptionist was blasting her music when I walked in the door. The other man sitting in the front area and working there was wearing basketball shorts. Not many of the workers were dressed for a professional environment. After a brief 2 minute interview I was lead to a "group interview" that was basically a pitch to become an agent for American Income life insurance. They DONT pay for training and expect you to work for free through your training and licensing process. You have to pay for the class, the licensing, etc. I went for a second interview and turned up 15 minutes early. The receptionist wasnt there. She supposedly starts at 8:30. At 8:45 still no receptionist & I was told by the guy wearing blue Jean's and a truckers cap he was going to interview me because the man who was supposed to was on an airplane. I walked out when he couldn't even find my resume and seemed like he didnt even know what he is doing. They pulled a bait and switch on the job. They didnt mention in the ad it was 100% commission with no paid training which is against the law. They also were the most highly unprofessional group of people I've come across. No wonder they interview 20+ people at a time. If it wasnt 5 minutes from my house I wouldn't have even been interested. There are professional insurance agencies out there. This isn't one of them. They are scammers.

American Income Life Insurance unethical employment

This company falsely advertises job positions to lure in desperate job seekers. They do a ton of dream selling to trick the applicants into joining the Hart Group "team". Technically you do not work for the Hart Group... you are a independent contractor. This is a way for the Hart Group to avoid paying actual wages to employees. They also require onboarding contractors to pay back the Hart Group up to $500 for liscensing. A legitimate company will always pay for liscensing and training for FREE. This company is a joke with employees pirading around saying they make over 200 grand a year (lie). Maybe (a huge maybe) one person makes money out of thousands of others. They make that money from position selling.

Story Time:
You recieve a robotic email to make you feel special. "You have been selected!" it will say and you're invited to an interview (cough: group interview). Wear sweats, don't brush your hair, act easily manipulated and... you're hired. Then you get a second interview, which is to ask your name and address. Papers are signed as you give away your first born child. You get "liscensed" (LOL). And they hand you a script to memorize. Start calling and get ready to be yelled at, because you are now an unpaid sales call "liscensed contractor". Also don't forget you owe the Hart Group for your liscense. Oh you don't like this... not to worry join the recruiting team and trick other people into this fake position. Best of Luck.

Can't wait for the fake comments below about how AIL is legitamate! Reminds me of those fake Amazon reviews in broken english.
