All American Driveway & Pool Decks, Inc. review: Their liscensing should be revoked! 6

A sales contract on 2/9/06 w/ All American was made. At that time a deposit was paid to have stamped concrete for the front driveway,front porch and back patio with excavation of the front & back existing concrete. Through the time of the contract date and the permitting process I made numerous phone calls to find out status & information with none of my calls returned for months. Finally after I made a phone call for a full refund on May 6th, I received a call from Harold (the sales person and contact) that excavation had been done & he would be by to pick up a check for addl. money. I was astonished,no phone calls back to me & the 1st call I receive is for more money when no work had been done. The driveway was then excavated on May 9, w/ only the front driveway being done. The back patio was not done & after several calls to find out why I was told it would be too much of a mess & easier to overlay. I paid for the excavation of this however. The framework was done almost 2 weeks later. I received another call for more payment to allow for the concrete. The driveway then laid completely torn up & a mess for approx. 4 weeks, when after numerous phone calls again that were not returned & an argument in which I was threatened w/ the job not being poured if I did not pay at the exact time & I threatened to obtain a lawyer was the driveway poured on June 2. The front open porch was not done w/ the 3" cap that it was suppose to be. When the workers were confronted, I was told it was not highlighted so it could not be done at that time. I again called Harold about the front porch & I set an appt for him to come by the next day. He never showed up, however All American workers showed up to pressure clean. I was advised by the workers on the day of pouring that it would be 2 days until the concrete would be dry and pressuring cleaning could be done so that it did not distort the texture, so with them coming the next day to pressure clean this was against the advise of the concrete pourer's and in some areas distorted the texture of the concrete. It was then sealed on June 7th & able to be parked on by the 11th. Since the seal was placed on June 7th by the 16th the seal was coming up, areas were cracking, no front porch cap had been done, the swale drive was pooling bad & I could not get any response from the company so I filed a complaint with the BBB.org. Then, out of no where and after receiving no calls in response to my messages on June 27th I received a call from Harold that the front porch cap was being done, the crack would be fixed and the areas where the seal was coming up would be fixed. By June 30th, I still couldn't get in my front door and no one had returned to pressure clean so that the seal could be done and the front porch finished. I made a call to Greg to find out what was going on and once again was given a run around about why. On July 2nd, All American workers again came by to finish the front porch concrete and clean the top cap off and then repair and reseal the driveway. All that was done was the additional concrete for the front porch and I was told they would be back on 7/3 to repair and reseal the driveway and seal the front porch. I asked about the pooling the the driveway and I was told it was the inspectors fault for allowing it. When I questioned the inspector, I was told it was the concrete companies fault due to not creating more of a slant for better runoff. So who's fault is it? No one apparently. I asked the company about the repairs in the seal because they were still visible and I was told to give it some time to blend in. The driveway and front porch were sealed on 7/3 and again had to wait 4 days to park on. That night Edwin from the company came by to pick up the remaining balance and I was told sod would be delivered and done on Wed 7/5 while he called someone on the phone to tell them to be here first thing in the am. I did not want the same thing to happen, so I waited 7 days until I parked on the driveway to make sure. I parked on the driveway on the night 7/09 and when I left in the am, I found all four tire marks left on the driveway with areas of the seal once again coming of. I contacted Harold and I was informed that he no longer worked for the company due to the 36 complaints into the better business bureau and I was then asked if I paid the company the remaining money. When I said yes that I had, he said that should not have and he hoped that they would come out to do repairs but doubted it. I contacted Greg at the company immediately on 7/10 and I was told that someone would be out to take a look and report back to him and he would call me back. When I didn't hear anything by late morning on the 11th and no one had been by to evaluate, I called the office and was told Greg was in a meeting and left a message. Again no call back so I called John the CEO. I spoke with John to tell of my dissatisfaction with the service and poor communication and I was lambasted for filing a complaint with the better business bureau and in his words exactly this is what he said after, " ... you know what you can do? You can go find one of those dirty anger lesbian groups and get therapy for what you are cause you are nothing but a dirty ###ing lesbian and a ###ing ###!" and then I was hung up on. I feel that I have been discriminated against from this contractor due to my sexual orientation and was subjected to hateful words from someone that is suppose to be a professional and licensed with the State of Florida. I don't know that I will ever be the same again or that the contractual obligation and warranties will be held to. Comments like this one above comes from the exact same people that participate in and favor hate crimes. How is someone able to practice business with all the proper licensing and get away with this type of behavior? His licensing should be revoked. I have never had such a dealing with a company such as this and I was floored by the hateful words that I was shouted at with. This type of behavior should not be allowed from any one let alone through professional dealings.
