Made a booking on www.agoda.com for the "the villa Langkawi" and payed by creditcard.

After 5minutes i recieved a conformation an headed to Langkawi by bus with my girlfriend and 2 backbacks.

10 minutes later, for no reason my booking was cancelled, Agoda appologized but still gives me no reason. Really crappy customer service and not friendly AT ALL!!

And now... NO HOTEL, NO REASON WHY... AND NO REFUND OF MY MONEY THAT AGODA.COM TOOK OF MY CREDIT CARD. Really unrelieable company. For my from now on only Expedia.com...

I MADE A BOOKING WITH GODA FOR A HOTEL STAY IN 15TH TO 19TH NOVEMBER 2015 BUT I NEED TO CHANGE THE DATE OF MY STAY TO 12TH NOVEMBER TO 15TH NOVEMBER 2015, AS I HAVE TO FLY HOME EARLY, A VERY IMPORTANT DATE HAS COME UP TO GO INTO HOSPITAL FOR A KNEE REPLACEMENT HAS COME UP IV HAD TO CHANGE MY RETURN FLITE DATE, I HAVE BEEN EMAILING AND TELEPHONING AGODA SINCE MAY 2015 TO CHANGE MY DATE FOR MY STAY BUT NOBODY HAS EMAILED ME OR EVEN RETURNED MY TELEPHONE CALLS IV BEEN CONTACTING THEM BY FONE 3-4 TIMES A WEEK AND CONSTANTLY EMAILING THEM !!

Agoda - Victoria, Melbourne - Need screen shot as proof

Agoda offers special "insider deals" that are very competitive. The trouble with ooking with Agoda, you need to take a screen shot of the special offers as proof as Agoda tends to leave out the inclusions on the confirmation sheet and without the proof, Agoda will not honour the special offer that one thought one had purchased. My example was for a free room upgrade, but as I hadnt taken a screen shot of the deal before I made the booking, and it was an insider deal only available for a short time, when I went back to check, the deal had gone. You cannot talk to a person.
You leave all the information.
It sends you straight to voice mail.
I emailed customer support 3 times.
No ones ever contact you back.
Still waiting for refund.
Stay away no customer service. At all.
Watch the star rating on the hotels.
They said the hotel was a 3 star.
I looked at other sites.
1 star so i canceled booking.
Dirty they never clean rooms. No house keeping. Broken item all over the room. Bad reviews go on and on....

recently I was charged 68.83$ aud for a room that I did not use .I tried to book this hotel room <sama sama 2> in kuala lumpur air port in march but I got a glich with your booking website and never received a conformation email we tried over the next few days to try and book this room again and could not get anyware with your web site so I gave up as I did not see any money taken from my account or see a conformatiom email I assumed that the booking was not made it was only checking my bank account I seen that I have been charged68.83$to international rozele can you please look into this...

Agoda - Last minute cancelled booking

AGODA may have the cheapest prices but surely has the cheapest service.

I have booked for my father and his friend 2 rooms using my credit card in DUBAI.

I received booking confirmation email first, then another email saying I have to verify my card and passport information to make sure it is not a fraud.

I have to upload documents to a link they sent in the email.

I have tried about 10 times in different formats (doc, jpg, bmp, pdf, ...) but their system could not take it and gives error every time I try (document should be in JPG...!!!)....

I want to lodge a complaint on Agoda with regards to the sudden termination of my booking with Seoje guesthouse.

It's unbelievable that Agoda made no attempts to send any email on the cancellation at all.

The situation was like this:

My colleague assisted me with the booking of the accommodation in Korea which was between 27 Mar 2015 to 3 Apr 2015. When I left for Korea and reached the hotel destination, I was denied entry. When you book at Agoda, be very careful!!! Once I've made a reservation, the website gave me error and I went straight to hotel to book. Turns out Agoda already debited my credit card!! When trying to reach Agoda via email and their feedback board, and email again and again, my mail has been ignored! So I was charged TWICE and 2 rooms! in a day!!!. Luckily the hotel MGR was willing to give me 2 days stay.

I woud just like to warn other travellers of Agodas cancellation policy. I made a booking more than a week ago with the site, and had to cancel and change to one night. I did the adjustment within 24 hrs, expecting a small adjustment fee. However the site refused and charged me for both nights. I spoke to the hotel, as Agoda said that this was under the hotels disgresion. When I asked the hotel, they stated that it was actually Agoda who refused. I feel completey ripped off. I am now very weay of this site, and am very upset that I havent been told directly who to hold responsible for the charge....

I am booking hotels through agoda.com I have two time problem about a year ago one time hotel give me very bad room since they don't have any room. second time the hotel booked was full and they shifted me to another very cheap hotel which i refuse to stay in

A hotel was adversited on agodas site, once we had arrived, we were horrified, condoms found in one of the beds, the bed bugs were in abundance, the sheets dirty, lights did not work, broken windows, dirty dirty dirty, .. not even a homeless person would sleep in there, we lifted up one of the sheets to check the seams of the mattress the poo by the bed bugs was over whelming. Had to find new hotel 3 times the price as it was high season and options very slim. contacted agoda, refused to refund. disgusting customer service.. please do NOT USE...

Will never use Agoda a again. Booked 4 nights in Ahmed, Bali. Arrived to discover no booking had been made and only one night available. Then Agoda told ( via Vienna cottages reception where we spent just the one night) us to go to another hotel ( Bhuana hotel) next day for remaining 3 nights. Agoda - Agoda discriminates against certain nationalities

I recently used Agoda to try and book a hotel for my trip to London. Upon trying to make the booking, I could not find my country, Syria, in the passport section (see photo)
I called Agoda to request a clarification and they responded that it is a company policy to not book rooms to people with the Syrian nationality.
I find it shocking and unacceptable that a company should be allowed to have such a blatantly discriminatory policy and continue to operate, and would like to draw people's attention to it.
For shame....

My name is Susan and my partner Leon Duncan booked the Millstone Country Inn for our 2 yr anniversary as a surprise for myself. He told me a few days before that he had booked, and had not received confirmation email as stated on your site. I rang Millstone and they advised me no booking had been made although the money had already debited Leons bank account. I then rang Agoda where I was assured that there was a reservation and that everything was fine. I went to Millstone as planned on Friday 18 April to be told there was no reservation and they had been fully booked for at least the last month....

agoda often say in their hotel advert `only 2 rooms left` but this is often a complete lie..
the hotels i have looked at had many rooms left..their prices are also inaccurate as its
often cheaper to go direct to the hotel..you cant trust them..they are not interested in any
complaint yop have about the hotel..i have made reviews with a poor rating but was never
able to find my review..i have also complained about hotel staff but again agoda did nothing
quite the opposite to other companies like booking.com..you get instant emails response

This relates to a booking Agoda took for the Nora Beach Resort and Spa, Koh Samui, Thailand - this is my trip advisor post
.We found this resort after weeks and weeks of searching around for the best options and amenities that suited our tastes - this was our first trip to Thailand. We had booked and paid in full (non refundable) through Agoda, we were due to stay in a Beach Front Chalet. We had chosen something special as it was our 15th wedding anniversary. I booked a room at a hotel in Olongapo city through Agoda. I was given a conformation number. Upon arrival on designated date and place, the management had no knowledge of my reservation. They were fully booked and could not accommodate me.
They let me use their internet and.we saw where Agoda charged my credit card for the
days had reserved.. The management was very apologetic but the situation was beyond their control. They promised that they would cancel any future bookings in my name.
I lost out .. I will continue to recover my loss through my bank/credit card account...

Agoda - Agoda points

A very misleading product offer with Agoda rewards.
The 'about Agoda rewards' section on their website talks about how you can get money off future bookings based on points from previous bookings.

This is not the whole truth. You can only claim the points against specific Agoda classified hotels. There is no way to identify if a hotel is eligible until you go to the booking page. Has taken me 7 emails to get this answer.
In addition, telephone customer service doesn't work (does not recognise my booking reference), and customer care staff seem very poorly...

I had book a premier deluxe room from agoda, after I had made payment they email to inform that the premier deluxe room is under renovation, and they suggested I downgrade to deluxe room instead. So, I ask for a refund from the different. What I check from agoda website the different between premier deluxe room and deluxe room is USD 20+, in the end they refund only USD 3+. I felt cheated . This is not the first time I book from them, but this will definitely be my last time. They got the worst service I ever book online . They only do their business without service !...

Agoda - Room booking cancelled

We arrived at our hotel to find that one of the rooms in our reservation that was made well in advance had been cancelled the same morning by Agoda and given to someone else. We found ourselves having to find a room at 10pm for one person in our party, and ferrying back and forth between the hotels (not close to one another). After almost one month of emails, they are now refunding the cheapest room (which we occupied, and was not the room cancelled). They also refuse to respond to our requests that they reimburse the difference between the room we booked, and the room we had to find last minute....
