In 2022, I entered into a contract with ADT Blue for their services, expecting to receive a wireless video doorbell system as part of the installation package. However, I received a wired system instead. Upon informing ADT Blue that I lacked the necessary wiring for installation, I was told they currently didn't offer a wireless system but assured me one would be available soon. Despite numerous promises, a wireless system was never provided.

After a year of unfulfilled assurances, I opted to switch to another company. This new provider not only took care of the installation but also supplied two video doorbells and a $1000 gift card to settle the remaining balance with ADT Blue.

In September 2023, I attempted to cancel my ADT Blue services, encountering difficulties in obtaining a final bill for review and payment. In December, I was informed my balance was $950 and proceeded to pay using the $1000 gift card. However, an account manager later revealed the actual balance was $1,033, including taxes, and without prior consent, they had used the gift card to cover my January bill of $49.

Despite the payment, my card balance only decreased to $951. Subsequent inquiries this month indicated my balance was now $922, indicating a mere $29 reduction after the $49 payment. I raised my concerns with the account manager, emphasizing the lack of transparency regarding taxes and asserting that I cannot be expected to pay an incomplete bill, deeming it fraudulent activity.

I simply want to cancel my contract and move on! ADT Blue wants to eliminate that ability with numerous loopholes and it should be exposed

I've been a loyal customer with ADT for more than 20 years up The customer service as well as the equipment has gone down tremendously wireless products do not hold connections repeated attempts to repair them have failed constantly over the last six to seven months I've spoken with multiple so called senior technicians to no avail ready to switch services

The fire department arrived. They determined there is a problem with the alarm system and we were told to call the alarm company. After spending hours on the phone they schedule a virtual service appointment That appointment starts a question about the installation and what we have for equipment. I realize this individual doesn't have any information about our account and the call isn't solving anything. They finally schedule a service call for a week after the false alarm. What happens if there is a false alarm while we are away?

I called about an odd problem with my security panel. The first person to whom I spoke was very pleasant but difficult to understand through a clearly foreign accent from southeast Asia (no surprise since that seems to be call center ground zero). We were able to figure out the correct department to help me, and she promptly transferred me. So far, so good. The second person, clearly in the U.S., was apparently very unhappy with his job. He repeatedly cut me off when I explained the odd problem. It was clearly not on his radar, and he seemed to think I was just stupid, or maybe ignorant. Finally, I got him to listen to me, and he agreed that I needed a tech. He disappeared into silence with no explanation for so long I thought we were cut off. I spoke up, and there he was, just not explaining anything. When the schedule was complete, he just hung up, abruptly, with no closure. When I looked at my email he apparently had trouble, as he had scheduled, cancelled, and rescheduled an appointment in the space of 3 minutes. I wish ADT trained and paid their staff better, so customers would not have to deal with such poor service. I am looking at their corporate site to send a snail mail directly to "community relations" or something similar.

I calked for an estimate but wasn’t sure what we needed. Rep made appt for someone to come here to recommend a system & give estimate. Day before the appt I got email about installation. I called immediately saying I didn’t want installation & was transferred to no fewer than 12 people. I wasted hours. No one could cancel. Finally a manager assured me it was cancelled. Today I got texts from 2 different people asking if I still wanted the installation. I chatted with an agent online who says I must cancel by calling SALES. No way. That’s how it started. I just want this cancelled permanently.

I want to file discrimination on the last tech that came to my house he talk to me like I was a dog yelling at me telling me he was not gonna service me or fix the damage the other tech did said ADT would have to send someone down and said he was not gonna replace the camera that not working after couple days ago of being installed first time customer my smoke sensor not working my house bout caught on fire that didn’t notify me

Or the protectors my hub two cameras not working the wiring all on my wall bailed up are in reach for my children to grab the wire and nails get serious hurt

I have called numerous times and I still have not received any resolution about my issues.

I have total of 8 accounts and I been a customer for a long time. Your customer service is ridiculous about helping with my issues.

All I been trying to do is get all my accounts in one Esuite login and everyone keeps saying that someone will be calling me or all the accounts will be linked to one Esuite, but it never happens and I never get a call back.

It has become a nightmare to pick up the phone and waste hours explaining the issue over and over to different reps.

I need someone to contact me asap and resolve my issues.

For a few weeks I have been trying to get and issue resolved with no help. One of the people I talked to said I needed a battery. It arrived today I called to get help getting it in because I am elderly. Before I went back to the control panel I asked her if I needed a screwdriver with no answer from her. My control panel is now hanging without the new battery in. She informed me to just call an electrician I asked her to transfer to someone who knew what they were talking about. She transferred me back into a quve to wait again. I need a manager.

I signed a three-year contract with adt in 2021, which clearly states that video surveillance and other services, the monthly fee is 59.99 dollars, but in fact they do not provide the above services; I made many phone calls to communicate, at first they said they could refund, and later they said they did not overcharge the fee, and after many unsuccessful communications, I had to choose to complain.

October 12, a burglar smashed the glass in the front door of our business at 3am. He enters and walked around in our store looking for stuff to steal. The alarm NEVER went off. Not from the broken glass or the motion. The tech who came out that day said “it just happens sometimes “.

Instead of letting me out of my contract, they tried to sell me more equipment . Absolute joke of a company. Total crooks, I wouldn’t Reccomend them to my worst enemy . I can only cancel by paying the contract balance .

I have had ADT services for over 11 yrs and they have increased the rate and reduced the access to customer service. This last attempt was the straw for me. I called to cancel and was offered the ability to speak to many representatives except for the one that could cancel my subscription. This, they advise me will take over 45 minutes of waiting on hold and if I don't do it this way, and I do not pay for my next upcoming monthly bill, they will turn me into collection. I am still on hold and will stay here til I die if needed. I WILL cancel this horrible security system. I have already replaced them with another. Susan Glabe [protected]

Hello I spoke to Ricardo at [protected] he kept sniffing coughing interrupting me wouldn't listen then I kept asking the same question he wasn't answering he decided to stop listening stop answering and remain silent and then ignored me when I asked him to speak up. Disgraceful representative of yours and will cause me to go elsewhere to find an alarm monitoring. Please take action on this derelict. Sadly Mr Js

I am calling from my cell phone [protected] and after going through a litany of recordings I had to wait about 20 minutes for someone in Technical support to answer the phone.

Apparently 'all calls will be recorded for quality assurance' doesn't apply because no one is actually listening to the calls to make improvements. Your company customer service has gotten worse over the years.

I just had an upgrade in my home system and the APP on the iPhone is difficult to use.

I am seriously thinking of going to another company at this point.

You lie when you sale the system saying you are going to secure the home but when you leave there are windows I can simply pry open to get in.

Not sure how you call that security

Now I am in bed with you guys for 3 miserable years
