The store manager of the AutoZone on Pearl road in Parma heights Ohio should definitely not have that position. Treated me rude called me names and argued with me over money and parts. I myself own a business and if my secretary talk to my customers the way he talked and treated me she would no longer have a position at my company. You have to remember Paul...

AutoZone AutoZone's Quality Control Needs Improvement: A Frustrating Experience

I recently bought a rebuilt alternator from AutoZone and installed it, but it didn't work. I was pretty bummed out, but AutoZone ordered another one for me and I picked it up the next day. When I got home and was ready to install it, I noticed that the pulley wasn't turning and it was completely locked up. I was pretty frustrated, so I went back to AutoZone and they ordered another one for me. The next day, I went to pick it up, but they had ordered a new one by mistake instead of a rebuilt one. They claimed that the rebuilt part would arrive that evening, so I decided to wait.

At 5:45PM, I called AutoZone to see if my part was in and they said it was ready to be picked up. I went to pick it up, but instead of the rebuilt one they had ordered another new one. I was pretty annoyed, but the manager took responsibility for the mistake and decided to give me the new one for the price of a rebuilt one, which was $40 more affordable.

I picked up the new part, installed it, and it's charging at 14.6 volts. Perfect! However, the back and forth was exhausting, and a lot of my time was wasted. I think that AutoZone could eliminate the aggravation to clients if they implemented a better system of quality control. If the current trend continues, clients are going to leave AutoZone for a car part store that has better quality control and quality parts.

AutoZone Terrible Customer Service at AutoZone: Associate's Rude Attitude and Poor Service

I went to AutoZone to find a windshield wiper refill. I had seen them online, but I wanted to try a local store. When I asked a woman associate if they had them, she told me with a cocky attitude that they don't make those anymore and nobody sells them. I told her that I had seen them all over the internet and thanked her before starting to leave. As I was walking out, she yelled after me, "good luck finding those" and "you will never get them" in a sarcastic voice. I thanked her again and left the store.

I couldn't believe how rude she was to me. She had another customer waiting in front of her, but she still took the time to yell at me as I was leaving. Her customer service skills were unbelievably poor, and I will never go back to AutoZone again. I ordered the refills online just 10 minutes later.

I was so disappointed with the service that I received at AutoZone. I will take my business elsewhere, and they won't see a dime from me in this lifetime. I hope that they go out of business soon because they don't deserve to have customers with such poor customer service. I don't understand how someone with no people skills and such a bad attitude could get a job in customer service.

AutoZone AutoZone Review: Delayed Order and Poor Customer Service

I ordered two sets of brakes from AutoZone on March 3rd with next day delivery. I was pretty excited to get them so quickly, but then I got an email saying that my order would be delayed by 24 hours. They offered me a $10 gift card for the inconvenience, which was nice, but I was still disappointed.

The next day came and went, and my order still hadn't shipped. I decided to contact AutoZone to see what was going on. After spending some time on the phone, I was told that my order would ship the next day.

Four days later, and still no shipment. I called again, and this time I was told that my order would be delivered in three days. I was starting to get frustrated at this point. I had already spent over an hour on the phone with them, and all I wanted was my brakes.

I decided to call for a third time to cancel my order. I was told that they couldn't cancel it or refund my money because FedEx had to pick it up. This made no sense to me. If my order was canceled and hadn't shipped yet, why did FedEx have anything to do with it?

I'm not sure who is to blame for this mess. Maybe it's the warehouse, maybe it's the customer service, or maybe it's the supervisors. All I know is that it's ridiculous that no one can give me a straight answer.

I ended up going to Advanced Auto Parts to buy my brakes. I'm standing at the register right now as I write this review. I'm curious to see how long it's going to take for me to get my money back, or if I'm going to be stuck in limbo for that too.

Overall, I would say that AutoZone is a pretty messy company. If you're thinking about buying something from them, I would suggest being cautious. Who knows what kind of problems you might run into.

AutoZone Frustrating Experience with AutoZone Warranty: A Review

I had a bit of a frustrating experience with AutoZone recently. I reached out to their corporate office via email about a warranty issue I was having with a battery I purchased from them. They couldn't seem to find my warranty information, so they said they would pass the message along to the district manager.

To my surprise, the district manager actually called me back later that day. I explained the issue to him, and he told me to go to the store where I purchased the battery and they would swap it out for a new one.

So, I headed over to the store and spoke with the manager on duty. Unfortunately, they didn't seem to know how to process a battery swap without a scanner. I called the district manager, Mike, to ask for help, but he didn't seem to know how to do it either.

He ended up telling me that the battery was non-replaceable because it was purchased in 2019, even though I had a battery in front of me with a sticker from April 2021. He claimed that the battery had been returned in June 2021, but I knew that wasn't possible because I had a bank statement showing that I had made a purchase from AutoZone in May 2021.

I was pretty frustrated at this point, especially since I had been waiting in the store for over an hour. The district manager was being very rude and unhelpful, and I couldn't believe that he had told me to go to the store without checking to see if they could actually help me.

I even tried to show them my bank statement to prove that I had purchased the battery recently, but they didn't seem to care. The district manager was showing me some information on his computer that supposedly proved that the battery had been purchased in 2019 and returned in 2021, but I wasn't convinced.

I'm currently waiting for a call back from the regional manager, Tammy, to see if she can help me sort this out. It's frustrating to have to deal with all of this when the battery is supposed to have a 5-year warranty. I hope they can figure out what's going on and either replace the battery or offer me a prorated fee.

AutoZone Disrespectful and Unprofessional Service at AutoZone North Olmsted, Ohio

I've been a loyal customer of AutoZone for years, and I've always had a great experience at the North Olmsted, Ohio location. However, my recent visit was a complete disaster, all thanks to a new employee who was extremely rude and disrespectful.

I walked into the store to purchase a headlight and a fog lamp bulb for my wife's 2014 KIA Sedona. I approached the new employee and asked him three simple questions, but his response to all three was "I don't know"! I was taken aback by his snappy attitude, but I remained calm and asked if perhaps another employee would know the answers. To my surprise, the other employee sitting at the register also replied with the same rude response, "He wouldn't know either"!

I couldn't believe how unprofessional and disrespectful these employees were. I mean, are they mind readers too? Then, the new employee asked me how bright my lamps were, and I told him that they were just standard lights that came with the van. He snapped again at me and said, "Are they LED lights or NO"? I was starting to lose my patience with this guy.

To make matters worse, when my account information came up, I noticed that my old address was listed, and I asked him to update or remove it. He rolled his eyes and bypassed it, telling me "Too Late". I couldn't believe the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism I was experiencing.

I really don't know which wrong side of the bed this employee woke up on this morning, but he was terrible and rotten. Maybe it was my Pittsburgh Steeler's Jersey? I really don't know. All I know is that I was treated poorly, and I won't stand for it.

The store manager did call me to apologize, but it was clear that he was reading from a script and had to start over several times. While I appreciate the apology, it doesn't excuse the behavior of his employees.

If this store wants to treat me and other customers disrespectfully, all they have to do is let me know, and I will take my business elsewhere. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to ensure that their customers are treated with the respect they deserve.

AutoZone AutoZone Store in Woburn, MA: Terrible Customer Service and Unprofessional Behavior

I've had some issues with the AutoZone store in Woburn, Massachusetts. The manager there always gives me a hard time when I need to do a return. But this last time was just ridiculous. The manager threw me out of the store and threatened to call the police if I ever came back. He even told his employees to do the same. I was shocked and appalled by his behavior.

When I complained to upper management about what happened, it took them over a week to respond. And when they finally did, they just transferred the case to an "internal matter." I felt like they were trying to hide what happened to me. They didn't do anything to correct the problem or make it right.

It's no wonder that AutoZone has such bad ratings online. I will never shop there again, and I would advise anyone reading this review to do the same. They don't deserve our business if they're going to treat customers like this.

I did some research and found out that I'm not the only one who's had a bad experience with AutoZone. Many other customers have had similar issues at different stores. It's a shame that they try to hide these complaints and call them "internal matters." It's not a joke - they need to take responsibility for their actions and treat customers with respect.

AutoZone Autozone Review: Good Selection, Poor Customer Service

I recently stopped by an Autozone store in Clinton, Iowa to inquire about the warranty on Duralast Gold brake pads for my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The saleswoman was very helpful and read off all the features and parts included in the brake kit. However, when she mentioned that the kit included electronic brake pad sensors, I was a bit confused. I asked her if she was looking at the right parts, but she assured me that she was. She even showed me the computer screen which confirmed that the brake pad kit included electronic brake pad sensors.

I was skeptical, as I knew for a fact that a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo does not have electronic brake pad sensors. I politely suggested that she remove that description from the pad listing, but she became defensive and insisted that I didn't know what I was talking about. She even went back to the shelves and retrieved the pads to prove me wrong.

Before opening the box, I made a bet with her. I told her that if there were electronic brake pad sensors in that kit, I would give her $100 cash. She opened the box, and to my relief, there were only four pads and a bag of mounting shims - no sensors. I pointed this out to her, but she still insisted that I was wrong. I even showed her the friction material on the pad and explained that it had no electronic components. I should know, as I had rebuilt the front of that Jeep and knew everything about it.

Despite my frustration with the saleswoman, I must say that the Autozone store had a good selection of parts and accessories. However, I was disappointed with the customer service I received. The saleswoman seemed to lack knowledge about the products she was selling, and her attitude was unprofessional. I left the store feeling frustrated and disappointed.

Overall, I would recommend Autozone to others, but I would advise them to be cautious when dealing with the sales staff. It's important to do your own research and know what you're looking for before you go in. And if you encounter a salesperson who seems uninformed or unhelpful, don't be afraid to speak up and ask for someone else.

AutoZone Disappointing Customer Service Experience at AutoZone: A One-Star Review

I gotta say, I'm really disappointed with AutoZone. I mean, I'm giving them one star just because I have to, but honestly, it should be a big fat zero. I walked into the store and there were only two employees there - an older guy and a kid at the counter. I needed some help finding the right screws to mount my license plates on my new car, but I didn't know what size I needed. I'm not a mechanic or anything, so I don't know all the different screw sizes. So I asked the guy at the counter if he could help me out, and you know what he said? "You're gonna have to figure that out on your own." Can you believe that? I mean, I'm a paying customer, and he couldn't even be bothered to help me out. And then the manager just walked outside to smoke a cigarette instead of helping me.

Luckily, there was another customer in the store who overheard what was going on, and he actually walked outside with me to tell me what I needed and to go across the street to O'Reilly's. And you know what? That's exactly what I did. And so did he. He was just as shocked as I was by how I was treated.

I've been shopping at AutoZone for years and I've spent a ton of money there, but I can tell you right now, I'm never setting foot in one of their stores again. I ended up spending three times as much money at O'Reilly's, but you know what? They treated me with respect and dignity, and they even mounted the plates for me. Meanwhile, these two guys over at AutoZone are just screwing around and disrespecting their customers. They don't deserve to work there.

I mean, if I ever caught one of my employees treating a customer like that, they'd be fired on the spot. And I really hope that corporate does something about this, because they're losing business because of those two.

AutoZone AutoZone's Faulty Part and Unprofessional Behavior: A Disappointing Experience

I recently had an experience with AutoZone that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I went to the store to purchase parts to redo the front end of my truck, as well as have new tires put on and an alignment done. However, shortly after leaving the store, my tie rod came out and I ended up hitting a walnut tree in my driveway. Thankfully, I was in my driveway and no one was hurt, but it was still a scary experience.

When I returned to AutoZone to discuss the issue and potentially have it fixed, I was met with hostility from one of the employees. A blonde woman told me to "get the $#*! out of her store" and that I should "never $#*!ing come back." I was shocked and taken aback by her behavior, especially since I was under the impression that they would be willing to help me fix the issue.

To make matters worse, I have been without my truck for two and a half months and AutoZone has refused to take responsibility for the faulty part they sold me. They claim that they won't do anything about it and that I should just hire my own attorneys to handle the situation. This is unacceptable, as I believe that they are responsible for selling me a faulty part that caused damage to my vehicle.

When I called to inquire about a refund for the part, the employee I spoke with was unhelpful and dismissive. He asked me where I was going to bring the part in, even though they already had it in their possession to investigate why it failed. It seems like they are just trying to avoid taking responsibility for their mistake.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with my experience at AutoZone. Not only did they sell me a faulty part that caused damage to my vehicle, but one of their employees was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this store to anyone and will be seeking legal action to resolve the issue.

AutoZone AutoZone's Poor Customer Service and Product Availability in Philadelphia PA

I went to AutoZone about 4 months ago to get a new alternator for my 2015 Hyundai Elantra SE. I gave all my information to the manager there, and he even installed it for me. However, just recently, my alternator burned out and started making a loud noise and smelling like rubber. I went back to AutoZone to buy a replacement, but all they had were refurbished ones. I gave them my car model, and they gave me a 90 amp alternator. I installed it that day, but immediately, it burned rubber, made a loud sound, and shut off my battery. I went back to the same AutoZone, and the manager told me that my battery was at 0% because of the wrong alternator. He also said that the new smell coming from my car was engine fluid and that I didn't have any anti-freeze, which I knew was wrong.

I went to another AutoZone to find out that they sold me a Korean model when I told them I needed a US model. I went to 5 different AutoZones, but not a single one carried a US model alternator. I placed an order for one, and they told me it would be delivered in 3 days. However, when I went to pick it up, they told me that the order never went through. They never called me to replace the order or tried to contact me, even though I am a member with my number on file. I placed an order again, and once again, they ordered the wrong model, and it was another Korean one.

It's been 2 weeks, and I still don't have the correct alternator. I do not recommend going to the following locations: all in Philadelphia PA- 2101 W Oregon Ave, 2726 Front St, 1730 Washington Ave, and 2448 N Broad St. It's been a frustrating experience, and I hope that AutoZone can improve their customer service and product availability.

AutoZone Instrument cluster order [protected]

I ordered on 26th of April. On website it said I would receive by mail on 28th. On 28th I got an email asking for odometer and vin which I provided. That information just got me spammed by autozone and information never got to the people with the cluster. I Called them on Friday the 5th and gave them the vin and odometer reading yet again and they guaranteed I would have the cluster before friday the 12th. Didn't happen. Called again monday the 15th still had not shipped and they had no excuse or reason as to why, not that it would have mattered at that point because people want a positive end result when they buy online from a major company. I cancelled order and still have not received confirmation that order was cancelled or that I have been credited back my money which was over 450.00.

Desired outcome: Autozone needs to quit with false advertising on what they cannot deliver. False claims of being able to deliver in two days and not delivering at all is not helpful.

AutoZone Request for receipt and refund denied

Store #6710, 02/23/2023 approximately 4:45 PM CST. I was directed to this store because, they had the battery in stock that I need for my Jeep. When my total came up it was in the $254.00 range, as previously mentioned, I was denied a receipt so exact amount unknown, however I had already entered my PIN number on my debit card and much to my chagrin I did not have enough funds available to cover the entire amount. Therefore the system deducted what was available which was $164.23. The amount I'm requesting reimbursement for.

Humiliated I requested the entire transaction be cancelled and requested a receipt showing the transaction cancellation. I was told there is nothing to print because nothing was debited from your account. I left but returned after checking my mobile banking confirmed they had debited my account. I went back inside a total of 3 more times requesting a refund and was laughed at in my face after I said that I would file a dispute with the bank and told that they didn't care if I reached out to corporate either. One of the employees told me he was the manager and the very same that laughed in my face.

Desired outcome: some housekeeping, more training on customer service, balancing the register and last but not least a crash course in Ethics and Integrity.
