Aeropostale - Christmas Return

I start my Christmas shopping in October, I purchased a Velour outfit for my granddaughter for a total amount of $79.12 plus tax, she didn't like the way it fit so I took her to the store to exchange it, low and behold they did not have them in stock, no avail on line. They told me that my receipt had expired! ( never heard of such a thing) apparently...

Aeropostale Returns

I ordered some shirts online. They were too small. I got a code to be able to return to a store. Went to store #227 at the Franklin Park Mall in Toledo, OH. An employee named Andrew said I could only do an in store exchange and would not scan the code. He said I needed to contact corporate for the return. I told him that’s how I got the code but still wouldn’t scan it. Obviously I got upset and acted like a Karen. Andrew told me to “have the day I deserved”. Took his name and the store number to file a complaint. Took my return to the store at Fallen Timbers in Maumee, OH. They were more than helpful and returned my purchase no questions asked. I honestly will not be shopping here anymore. I lost time and gas money.

Desired outcome: I would like Andrew written up and trained in customer service.

Aeropostale I never received my package

I never received my items and they refuse to give me a refund on order [protected]. I spoke to someone and they gave me the refund then someone reversed it. I don't understand why I am held responsible. You have my money and I don't have my products. I ordered my clothes online two months ago. I waited for my products and contacted all parties involved and to no prevail

Aeropostale Seriously soft order [protected]

ORDER NUMBER: [protected] In the past I purchased your Seriously soft collection which used to feel like cotton, or have a hig percent of cotton in it. It also keep its shape after washing, tye dye Seriously soft tees. My recent order of seriously soft did not have brethable fabic, and after washing once the product streched out alot. From a large it felt like a 2XX large. I want to return everything except the hat. In the future will yr collection have cotton?

Aeropostale I'm complaining about Aeropostale's return policy.

I bought my daughter several tops at Aero for Christmas. She wore the first one one time and then I washed it. I washed it exactly according to the washing instructions. Half of the letters came off in the wash. According to "store policy", they will not take the shirt and give me a refund because the item was washed. So basically I paid for a shirt that she wore one time and got ruined. My daughter contacted customer service several times and sent them pictures and the sales receipt several times and never heard from anyone again. This is rude and ridiculous not to mention a poor business practice. It makes your stores look really bad and I know for a fact that I will not be shopping there anytime soon. Word of mouth can be good advertising, but it can also hurt when it is negative. I am a very unsatisfied customer.

Desired outcome: Money back for the shirt.

Aeropostale Manager outcome/disrespect me

On Dec 24, 2022 I went to the store to exchange some clothing I bought a week before.I had to do two different transactions. At the end of the second transaction, the manager Lee asked me in front of customers and staff to pay for the red shirt I got in my bag. She made me emptied my bag in the counter in front of everybody there. I was embarrassed, surprised, upset and sad. I didn’t have a red shirt, she didn’t apologize, just ask me to leave the store. I’m not going back again after this issue.

Desired outcome: Manager Lee shouldn’t be working for this great company. She needs to be suspended

Aeropostale Misleading info about in stock items.

Package arrived 12/13, upon opening package I noticed I received the incorrect item. I contacted customer service for help so that they can send me the right item, however Customer Rep said the item I ordered isn’t in stock anymore. I checked the website and it showed in stock but Customer rep insisted it isn’t in stock. Now I have to go out of my way to ship out their mistake.

The customer reps were rude when I mentioned their website showed the item I ordered is in stock, one of the reps even ended the chat after I said for him to double check on the item.. The customer rep tried sending me another item of equal value but how does that help? The website is misleading customers on items that are in stock… DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS RUDE FRAUDULENT COMPANY ANYMORE . WARN YOUR PEERS. Big corporations need to realize the consumer makes them run

Desired outcome: Stop wasting customers time money and energy. Provide the respect the consumer deserves.

Aeropostale Customer service rude worker especially manager

I went in macys Aeropostale store in Fairfield with my sister. My sister is come from Taiwan she’s here to spend holiday vacation. When we enter to the store we already feel we’re not welcome of course I’m aware of Asia racism but anyway my sister is new so I pretend nothing wrong. My sister found a denim pants and she really love it but the problem its only one Xs size and the promo buy one get 1 free so I ask the manager if they have another size xs but she’s not very helpful. But because I’m tired going around I don’t give attention on the manager attitudes. But when my sister look for another item and she likes it she put the pants in the other item to fit the jogger and she’s really want the pant she just want to get the promo but can’t find another pant so she’s trying to keep it so she didn’t put it back. So when I decided to buy the jogger I ask the manager if the sign buy one take one free she answer me what ever the sign in there that is the price so I told her I’m just asking she don’t need to be rude. And she reply that we’re so unrespectful we’re making mess every where so I told here why she don’t check the camera so she can see. That’s the only one pants we put aside coz we’re still looking around and that time we’re fitting. So maybe we have mistake or we don’t notice we’re making mess already but that’s not our intention we’re not done yet we’re still looking and my sister plant to buy gift to her friend in family so we’re going to buy a lot but because of that treatment we decided to pay and leave. let say we make a messed but it’s not our intentions and we don’t deserve what we experience. My sister is new here it’s here first time to visit u. s and she said it’s scary to shop here.

Aeropostale Cancelling order

Called and cancelled an order within 2 mins of purchase. Replaced it with more items but the agents apparently never cancelled it. Received a shipping confirmation but spoke online with agent who opened a case. At the time, I asked him to make sure a previous order was also cancelled. Got another shipping confirm. No more Aeropostale 4 me!

Aeropostale employee stole and horrible customer service

On 1/18/20 I was returning around 14 or 15 items that were too big for my son that I had purchased online to the Layton Hills Aeropostale in Utah. The sales girl only credited on my sales return receipt 7 items. I didn't realize this until 15 minutes later when I was reviewing my receipt at the food court. I was busy trying to keep my kids from knocking things off the racks and messing up the store so I didn't pay attention to the store clerk and her ringing in each item for a return. I went back to the store and the store associate told me that it was only seven items and I looked at the counter where she had supposedly put the items and I saw that she only had half the itemsi had brought back there. She had put the other items somewhere else. She had taken the other items and she had stole them. I asked if I could speak with the store manager and she told me know that she was a store manager (I found out a few days later that she was lying). I asked her if I could see the store surveillance and she said no. I told her that I knew there was three of a specific shirt that I had brought back that I had purchased by mistake and there was only one showing on the counter and she said I don't think so. I said I know exactly what I brought back and it's not sitting on the counter and she said well I don't know what to tell you. The sales girl had taken my online order receipts when I had returned the clothes and she wouldn't give them back. The girl stole from me and I know she is stealing from other customers and probably from her employer. I contacted customer care at Aeropostale and I was treated horribly by the a guy who was supposed to research the case. He at first told me he was going to contact me in a few days, but hen called me the next day and said that he found that I had only returned 7 items. I told him that was a lie and if he had really pulled the survelliance video he would have seen that. He never watched the survelliance video. I feel like it was too much of a bother for him and not worth his time. He treated me like I was a liar. I asked if I could speak with his supervisor and he flat out told me no. I asked again repeatedly if I could speak with any supervisor and he told me no and that no one had time to talk to me. I work in customer service and have for 30 years and have never seen such horrible customer service in my life. He told me if I really thought she had stolen from me that I could file a police report. Like I would take my boys into the police dept to file a report. My boys are always with me. I would never take my children into that environment. First off their employee stole from me, and then their customer care employee doesn't do his job and treats me like I'm lying. It was Aeropostale's duty to try to resolve this situation. People don't always remember exact things that are said but they always remember how people made them feel. I will never forget the way I was treated. And I felt horrible. I wouldn't treat anyone the way I was treated. And I will never shop at Aeropostale again. I have spent a lot of money at Aeropostale in the past for my older boys while they were in their teen years and I would have spent a lot of money on my younger boys as they were going through their teen years. But because of this experience I will never spend a dime in Aeropostale stores again. I will also make sure all of my friends and family know what happened at Aeropostale so that they don't shop there either.

I appreciated reading you concerns.

Although you thought you were returning more items, the sales clerk only counted and registered seven items. She would have had no reason to believe you wouldn't have caught being credited back for all the returned items. After returning to the store during the hour that followed, all the items you received credit for were still together by the counter. Customer Care did get management from that location involved and it was confirmed only seven items were returned.

Your suggestion is that the clerk was either deliberate or incompetent at performing her task; that the items you had never been credited back suddenly disappeared prior to you returning to the location. And further that the Customer Care associate you spoke with was also deliberate or incompetent in performing his task. Or it is possible you were just mistaken as to the exact items you were returning to the store and that these other items were inadvertently misplaced. No one is claiming you are lying, only that mistakes are made and it is more likely than not a mistake on your part.

Hopefully you'll take the time to retrace your steps on Saturday and determine where the other merchandise was lost or dropped.

Aeropostale I want to exchange my hoodie

I have a receipt and I wanted to exchange the shop receptionist didnt wanted it to be exchanged I went the next day after buying to ask for an exchange and she didnt corporate. I need an exchange or a refund. the hoodie was torn and customer representative behave arrogant So I need this to be fixed and I have my exchange.
The Aeropostale must have been selling poor quality cloth. How poor is the customer service. And why are you doing this fraud

Aeropostale aeropostale not opening

I live in Greenville, SC. I drove to Gaffney Sc to only go to Aeropostale on 9/30 Sunday. It takes 45 minutes to get there.this is the only store that fits my daughter. When we arrived we discovered the store was closed! No note on door or anything. We asked the workers at Journeys why they were closed and they said the opening person called out and the Manager said they were not coming in. Really? I'm highly frustrated at this point! I feel at very least you should reimburse me for my gas.

Aeropostale I return items with a receipt

I purchase with this company on several occasions. Never had an issue until three days ago brought some items I return them back to the store with receipt. Customer service rep for extremely rude she put it on a credit card that is not going to go back to my bank so I have a issue at this problem with this company I also attempt to call at least 10 times and getting the runaround.

Aeropostale manager at westfield aeropostale mall

Im a mother i didnt appreciate the manager being on the phone and acting like an [censored] towards me... while i was looking for a size ...she kept telling her employee to come assist me, i felt harassed and didnt appreciate her attitude as if i was messing their t shirts up.. i was going through the shirts nicely carefully .. the whole point of having employees is to fix the clothes..i am not one of those people that mess the clothes up ..i dont like being watched and feeling like i cant touch the clothes..i nicely declined his assistance when he asked ifci neeed help.. they need a nicer manager thats not on the phone speaking so loud and one thats not rude harassing the customers.. i will never shop their again ..learn how to hire nice people that care and can shop for themselves ..not people that harasss their customers !

Aeropostale receipt for purchase in new york

I have received an email with the receipt for transaction 229253 for a purchase in New York, USA

1. I've never shopped at this store in my life
2. I've never been to New York in my life
3. When I look online I see numerous other people have reported the same thing

I know that this is most likely phishing or a scam, but others won't and will be absolutely terrified to get an email like this indicating that someone might have access to their banking details.

This company needs to take action and stop this happening

Aeropostale customer service

Everytime I go in there the manager is disrespectful. He specifically follows hispanic customers around as if we were stealing, if you use a dressing room he will go and knock on the door. Even when you're buying a lot of clothes he will ask you why you're buying so many clothes. He makes customers uncomfortable and I'm not the only one which is why I am writing this complaint because it's tiring to hear of his actions and see nothing getting done about it.

Aeropostale blouse

Couple of weeks ago my daughter bought a blouse as my kids are regular customers in your store, after the gust wash the blouse got some stain although nothing had happened to the rest of the clothes as it looks something us wrong with the fabric, I called the customer service and the store but unfortunately no help at all and both had attitude and sound like they don't care about loosing customers and no solution or exchange. Hope you can do any solution like exchange thanks in adtfor your time and consideration

Aeropostale redeeming point

This is about the store in Inorbit mall, Hyderabad. You have the most irresponsible employees who are not interested in retaining customers. I have got 1100+ points in my redeeming card That are going to be expired on 31st April.After making us wait for 15 mins, they informed that server is down for 6 days. Plz go to the store that is 15 miles away.This is an awesome way of dealing with customers especially when you are a new entrant into the market especially when you have limited to offer for the customers of peninsula.Behaviour of employees is worst when compared to jack and jones, Zara, H & M. Absolutely zero interest in finding out a way to serve customers.

Aeropostale Rude and unacceptable customer service!!!

I had purchased 2 pair of jeans for my daughter on march 3rd, 2019. She had picked out the same type of jean, only in different denim washes. After getting home, the one pair didn't fit the same as the ones she tried on so I told her we would just return them and hung them in her closet until we would be going back. (we live 60 minutes away from the store). Saturday, march 30th, my daughter and I went to return the jeans. Seeing that the pair she kept and had worn had started to fray so badly, not holding up after a few washes within 3 weeks, she decided to exchange for something else, or, since we had the original receipt, I told her she could just have them credit back our credit card if she didn't find what she wanted. Boy, weren't we in for a surprise!
Ater looking around and trying on jeans, not finding anything my daughter wanted in the store, I informed the salesperson that we just wanted to get a refund. That's when the salesperson decided to inform me that the jeans smelled!. She stated "you have washed these. Yes, these smell like you're washed them". When I informed her that no, they had not been washed, they didn't fit my daughter. She again stated that we would have to find merchandise in the store because she wasn't refunding anything.
I have never been treated so ridiculously disrespectful like this in my life. Over a cheap pair of $30 jeans? To imply this in front of my 12 year old daughter was even more disgusting!
I can assure you that we will never be in your store again and I will be making a complaint with the bbb as to not only this abhorrent inexcusable behavior, but also the fact that you do not honor what the sales receipt states about returning merchandise. I'm beyond flabbergasted at the total lack of customer service and out right verbal attack by your manager of this store in castleton mall, in indianapolis indiana.
Highly unprofessional doesn't even begin to describe the way you will be treated at aeropostle!

Aeropostale never received my daughters xmas gift

I have called customer service about 5 times.. Calls dropped, managers says they will can you back n never do. N never have I had such a bad experience w an online order like I have w this, not only didn't get my daughters gift for Xmas, but kept calling and they all promise that the will ship back what's in stock cause of course things sold out n they and are diffrent prices now.. I wish i would have ordered thru Hollister instead.. I ordered this for black Friday n still have not received my items.. N the thing is that I got them an special and there not even trying to honor but my price, my sister gave her the money to buy that stuff n I Chose this store.. Is sad will never order from this store when I need a gift especially when I need it by a certain time or ever again.. I'm waiting on them to reship my items again.. If not going to better business beaureo..
