Wendy’s Rudeness and Professionalism

My parents are in their late 70’s and I had given my mother some money to purchase me some food while her and my father went to eat. My mother made two purchases and specified to make my order later so that it would not be cold. Instead, they made the order first, taped up the bag, and told her that it'll be fine because she taped up the bag. My parents ate, and mother dropped off my food. I opened the bag up and the food was cold and missing an item. I called the restaurant to explain and to see if I could have my order replaced. Someone who wasn't an employee answered the phone with hello. I asked if it was Wendys and she said yeah. The manager gets the phone and I try to explain to her what happened. Instead of trying to make it right, she questioned my integrity by saying that they wouldn't put stickers on because they don't use stickers on their sandwiches. Then tells what my mother should've done. All this why she would interrupt me. Finally, I said I wanted a refund and ill be there with the receipt. Of course, they never gave my mother the receipt so had to bring her up there. While there, it was determined that the associate made a mistake, like I tried to express over the phone. The manager did provide a refund; however, I expressed to her that how she handled me over the phone was unprofessional and rude, that we were just customers trying to make a purchase. The manager, again, became defensive. Stating that she was sorry I felt that way. I explained that she didn't need to apologize for how I felt. She accused me of yelling at her, but I didn't, my tone was of one in disbelief. She then said she didn't have to deal with and kicked me out. Then on my way out, she proceeded to passive-aggressively telling me to enjoy my $11. So, this Valentina manager, at the Wendys in Elyria/ Sheffield Village, on Abbe Rd, not only challenged my integrity, told me what my mother should've done, refused to apologize for that, kicked me out, and insulted me on the way out. Hopefully they have audio on the cameras. Dreadful management at that store.

Desired outcome: Manager Valentina needs reprimanded. Should she be fired, no. It's not worth her losing her job, but something should happen to prevent this type of engagement from happening again.

Wendy’s Food from Glennway OH location

My name is Jason, and I visited the Wendy's at 6243 Glenway Ave Cincinnati OH. I was there on Sunday 9/17 around 430. After placing my order, I was told to pull up and had to wait around 10 mins for order to be ready. Our food was cold and dried out. The nuggets and fries felt like they were over an hour old and the crew member that brought it out to the car sounded rude. I have had nothing but bad experiences at this location and is known around here as the one not to go to, but I gave it another try and it still stands as the worst Wendys I have gone to, ever. I grew up with Wendys and love the food, but they always staff this location with crew that seem to hate having to work and don't care about the experience of customers and I run a kitchen around here so I feel for others working long hours but THERE IS NO NEED to pushing that off to the guest. I'm not typing this to get a handout although I work hard for the money I just wasted on this, I'm just letting you know of the experience I had and will not be returning to this location any longer. Wendy’s My whole order

We went to Wendy's on September 16th 2023.
I waited for my order for 30 minutes before I decided to ask what's taking soo long I orderd 3 #3 (10 piece nuggets)
And I did not receive a receipt to proof of my order.
The man that was working just said well mam u ordered 3 10 piece nuggets that's what taking so long as he had a bag of frozen nuggets in his hand.
So does it really take 45 minutes for an order?
And I asked him that he didn't give me an order said well mam I misunderstood me

Wendy’s She need to be let go just run the camera back

The manager told me she throw my food on the floor also called me a Hoe wouldn’t give me my money back also call the police on me to get me Trespass off the premises it happened around 9:30 PM I need you guys to run Camera back to see how she treated me also letting People come inside the building when their doors are closed.

Wendy’s Unable to get a refund

Today's Saturday, September, the 16th at 4:20 PM. Place the mobile daughter when I arrived. They told me their frosty machine was broken, was unable to receive 2 of my frosties and unable to get a refund. They said they don't have the ability to give one since it was a mobile order even though it's on my credit card which I have in my pocket. They should be able to refund the card here at the store. I would have canceled the whole order. But was afraid I would have lost $50 from you.

Wendy’s Taco salad

On 09/11/23, at approx 545pm, I ordered a Taco Salad through the drive thru window; when I got home (approx a 20 min. drive), I found that all I had was a plain tossed salad with a container of salsa and two packets of sour cream. There wasn't any of the "famous, hearty chili" as listed on the menu and there weren't any tortilla chips.

When I tried calling the restaurant, the number listed does not work. I have tried that same number for 3 days now. (386-218-5946). When I went to fill out the complaint form on line, the very last thing is asks for is the store locator number; unfortunately, this Wendy's did not provide me with a receipt either.

The Wendy's I am complaining about is the only one in Orange City, Florida and the store locator # is 1761.

I received that information from Gabriel on a Wendy's complaint department. When he gave the phone number that doesn't work, he repeated several times that if I was unable to get in touch with the restaurant to call back and they would handle it at their level. Why didn't Gabriel try to handle it at his level in the first place instead of telling me to keep calling a number that doesn't work.

Does anyone from corporate ever make a surprise visit to restaurants to see what kind of service is being given?

I went to this same restaurant, at the first of part of September, and ordered two of the summer strawberry salads (as listed on the outside and inside menu boards) and was informed that they did not offer that item anymore. Even though it was listed in two separate store menu boards. Summer isn't even over until the end of September!

IF...anyone from corporate does make a visit, please advise them to tell the store to do some cleaning and sanitizing.

And what happened to offering only hot, fresh French fries? As advertised. I really enjoy a tasty double cheeseburger combo but the last few times, the fries were NASTY, that is why I selected the salad.

When I called two other Wendy's, in towns north and east of Orange City, the person I spoke with in each location, stated that they did not have a working phone number for the Orange City location and that they also didn't know what the locator number was for that store. Maybe that is true or maybe they were just brushing me off and didn't want to take the time and effort of looking this information up.

Desired outcome: Make this restaurant and all Wendy's restaurants more accountable for their food, the quality and the service, and the accuracy in preparing the orders and provide an accurate and working phone number.

Wendy’s Large chili

I ordered a large chili through your drive through location at 5525 Chinden Blvd. in Garden City, Idaho on Thursday, September 7th about 12:15pm. Upon inspection once arriving home, I noticed a lower than normal helping of the chili. Please see the attached picture. I received no receipt in my bag. I immediately attempted to contact the store, but the phone rang with no answer repeatedly. When I made an attempt to contact the manager in person - after waiting several minutes in line - she looked at the attached photo and commented that there is a fill line. I stood waiting to see if there would be any other response to my complaint. None. I then told her I would never visit that store ever again because of her lack of acknowledgement or concern.

Desired outcome: At minimum, I think I should receive a coupon for a free large chili. The photo is right after opening the lid.

Wendy’s Wendy's breakfast

Went into regina saskatchewan wendy's on north albert st. August saturday 8 I believe, was the saturday of the labor day weekend... We live 1/2 hour drive to regina.. I wanted wendy's breakfast bun... So good.. My husband, a big eater asked for 3 breakfast wraps... We were informed they only had 2 [protected]@ one sausage patty... While we were waiting 3 people came in @ wanted breakfast... They left when they were told, no eggs... This is not a good look on you wendy's... My breakfast bun came with no tomato or lettuce @ a dry bun... How does a fast food place run out of eggs... Didn't anyone notice the night before when u closed for the day...

Desired outcome: Hopefully keep all Breakfast Supplies on hand... This no eggs or sausage patties will not keep your standing in Breakfast ... People will just return to Micky D'S for the breakfast u can't supply...

Wendy’s Overcharge on Combo and GM refused refund of difference

On 9/9/2023 @ 12:36 pm eastern at the Wendy's in Clio Michigan. Bought the Spicy Ghostpepper Ranch Meal and upgraded to a Lemondade for 50 cents additional. The menu board listed the price of the combo as $9.68 (I have a photo for proof). The price charged was $10.98. Asked for the refund of the difference and was refused. Tyler Davis, GM at that location, said the $10.98 was the price and the only thing he would do is return the food and he would give us the whole combo price paid (including the drink) for a total of $12.17 with tax (which is again overcharged because we were taxed at the incorrect amount). We said no and were going to contact the better business bureau, which we have already done. He said fine and have a nice day. What a joke. Got home with the meal and it was not correct either. Never felt so insulted. They would rather waste the food than refund $1.30 plus tax. Someone needs to follow-up on this. My email address is [protected]@hotmail.com.

Desired outcome: Refund of difference plus tax, their board fixed and a refund of the combo because it was also incorrect. Also, need training the the so called GM, Tyler Davis.

Wendy’s Biggie bag with double stack sprite no ice and summer strawberry salad

On Wednesday 9/6/2023 at 11:06 I came through the drive thru to order lunch for myself. I ordered a biggie bag double stack sprite no ice and a summer strawberry salad $14.08 was the total. I get to the window and paid. No receipt was given nor put in the bag I used my bank card.I received my food and drove away I reached into the bag to start eating my food and everything I touched was cold from the fries to the bun on the burger. I opened my sandwich all to find a piece of plastic hanging from the sandwich. Picture was taken. Omg. Needless to say I got rid of everything except the salad that was cold. It really wasn’t busy when I came to the restaurant. Very disappointed with Wendy’s.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund and replacement of my food. I was on my way to work so I could not return back to the restaurant. I would appreciate a response on this matter. Thank you in advance

Wendy’s Customer service

I go to this Wendy's often never had a problem. but I went in around 4 pm to order and stood there for 5 minutes and there were nobody waiting to order just me and also 6 people behind the counter two were cooking but the other four were standing around one was working the window. but nobody said anything like we will be with you in a minute but stood around talking I was upset. I went to McDonalds across the street. But I was in a hurry this time. I love this Wendy's but they made me mad sorry. Just have them do better please.

My friend & I stopped in at the above Wendy's on 9/2/2023 around 1 PM; she paid for my lunch & used coupons. Mgr allowed us to use 2 coupons on same order.

We were dining inside but when we walked into store & I noticed how dirty it was; when you walked across the floor your shoes stuck to the floor. Counter that food is served acrossed to customers was dirty. We received our food and went and sat down. Our sandwich was lukewarm, the bun was hard, fries were lukewarm and were from bottom of bag. Another customer was trying to ice from soda machine but there was none available. An employee walking into restaurant said she would get her ice from the back. The only items that were good were the strawberry and pineapple mango drinks.

We didn't want to complain about the food due to being allowed to use 2 coupons. The restaurant was not busy when we stopped there nor was the drive thru. Don't understand why it was so dirty.

The cashier could barely speak English and she wasn't sure how to do order so she had to ask for help from fellow employee, then another lady came to help; think she was the manager.

Another issue I have with all Wendy's is that most stores don't use Iceberg lettuce for the sandwiches or salads. I am a kidney stone maker and have to avoid eating dark greens due to high levels of oxylate. I can have only low levels and then not very much. Not all greens are good for you. Hope you change or add Iceberg to sandwiches & salads. It's also less expensive than greens.

The store also had mold around air vents. This is the worst store I have visited for quite a while as I don't visit Wendy's much due to my diet restrictions.

I hope your regional or district manager gets this store cleaned up.

Wendy’s Manager.

I went to Wendy's in Hazel Green Al. this morning at opening. Date is 8/31/202. I ordered coffee and was informed that they didn't have coffee. So I pulled off and went to another store. On my way back I noticed a gentleman I know waiting to pull out of Wendy's. I stopped and spoke to him and noticed that he had coffee. This was 10 minutes after I went through. Well I really don't appreciate the manager lying like that. She's very rude and unprofessional. And this past Sunday I was told they were out of bisquits at opening. I think they are profiling people. Wendy's will never get my business again.

Desired outcome: I see no outcome except them shutting down.

Wendy’s A $6.19 hamburger, no bread, no cheese, nothing in a plastic box. Why did this cost so much?

I have celiac disease. I cannot eat wheat, thereby I cannot eat rolls or bread.

I ordered just a plain hamburger, nothing else. The burger was placed in a plastic box. I was with my daughter. We bother ordered a baked potatoes & drinks. She ordered a deluxe Jr cheeseburger that was only $2.59. Unfortunately I looked at the receipt when I returned home. That is when saw the charge for the hamburger. Was I paying for the plastic box?

Desired outcome: I would think that a $3.00 refund would be appropriate.

Wendy’s Order

I ordered a bacon and cheese potato and a medium coke. I ate 2 bites before i stirred my potato to mix the cheese and bacon together. I discovered a worm more like a centipede was in my potato. It was hard as it was cooked/ baked in the food.

The manager was so rude to me and I'm very understanding but I have a weak stomach and it was very unappropriated to treat me that way.

Wendy’s Fly in food & terrible service

Sat in the drive through line 5 minutes and called the store no answer of course. Then they came to the speaker and the car in front of me ordered. Pulled up to the speaker and waited another 5 minutes. Said hello. A young lady said hold on a minute about 3 minutes passed before they came back to the speaker. Once we ordered and pulled around the car in front of me was still waiting at the window. In all it took over 20 minutes to get my order with just one person ahead of us and my food has a fly in it and the rest is cold! Im so pissed right now. RIDICULOUS This is the second time. I’m done with this store and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Wendy’s Sanitary conditions

On August 24, 2023, I ate at Wendy's on 7515 Niagara Falls Blvd., Niagara Falls, NY. For the first time ever, I had a sandwich that was not up to past experiences, but what I want to complain about is the sanitary conditions at the restaurant. I wanted to wash my hands. The water in the bathroom didn't work. There was NO water. I had to use the sink in the men's room. In both the Ladies and mens rooms, the floors were absolutely filthy. Up to a height of about 4 inches, there was filth and mold on the walls from the floor up. I complained and was told "we can't fix the water". Ok. The person I complained to was working with cash bill that she was feeding into what appeared to be an electronic safe. She later used the bathroom. To think people working with food are handling money and using the bathroom WITHOUT washing their hands is totally alarming.. I was nearly sick from the experience and will not eat at that particular restaurant in the future.

Desired outcome: Deal with the management at this outlet to ensure that sanitary conditions are up to high expectations. I have always judged a restaurant by the cleanliness of their bathrooms. If this is not addressed I shall report it to Public Health.

Wendy’s Poor Service

Nobody to take orders. Refused cash. Had to order from kiosk and pay with card. Do not have store number as we left and went someplace else to eat. I am very disappointed in the lack of service. I also called the store several times to get the store number and kept getting hung up on. We spent 35.00 at the other restaurant (not another Wendy's) and spoke with two other people who had left Wendy's due to their lack of service.

Desired outcome: I would like an apology and a reason for the total lack of service. Wendy's is one of my favorite places to eat. Please don't go by way of Subway and get swallowed up by some other company. My name is Susan Bowers: [protected]@tampabay.rr.com

Wendy’s acknowledge customers when they come in to the store

I have been into the Wendys at 6335 Allentown Rd Camp Springs. MD 20748 several times and every visit I have been in there I end up leaving going to the one Clinton for service. This is unacceptable for retail workers . I have worked in retail for over 30 years and I know customer service. And they definitely don't have they will look at you and not say nothing like you are invisible. So I will not give them my money
