Furniture Package purched from MRI
Sal, Cape Verde from MRI back in September 2008. Also friends of ours have had the misfortune to do the same. They hounded us with phone calls advising us to buy from them and not from Tecnicil who are the developers of the apartment we bought. Now it seems Tecnicil will not allow us to join their rental programme because we have not bought from them...

Scammed by MRI
MRI did a hard-sell on us to purchase 2 properties in Bella Vista in Morocco in 2007. The properties were scheduled to complete in January 2010. MRI claimed that the Developer was reputable. They supplied the socilitors. Over the last 1. 5 years, they went silent on us...

Unauthorized billing
Holbrook regarding my MRI's for neck & back. She was outside the center holding a baby in her arms rudely told me not to talk to her because the baby would cry. She told me the baby belonged to a member & was very upset. I approached her again when I couldn't get satisfaction inside the center & again she yelled at me & told me not to come near her...

No initial response from over a dozen recruiters

Property Purchase Cyprus
conveyancing which MRI Property Services recomended I use turned out to be the same lawyer who was representing the seller! They told me that this would speed things up with the sale and work out less expensive for me. The problem with doing this sort of transaction is that the lawyer then can not represent you legally in a court of law if you have problems acquiring the title deeds...

VAT SCAM
horrendous company - MRI. I paid €11350. 00 to furnish two studio apartments in Aspen Valley in Bulgaria. After the title deeds were given to me (a year later then promised) I was sent an e-mail demanding an extra 20% for VAT, which works out to €2270. The was money invoiced by and paid to a company calling themselves Global Home Services which is a division of MRI Overseas Property, in fact the sales person, Steven McCann introduced himself as a member of the MRI Completions planning department...

furniture paid awaiting installation, aftersales paid for but not received
in Portugal throrugh MRI. Furniture packages were also ordered through MRI and paid to them back in October 2008. We'll still give them the benefit of the doubt for a short while given that the property has just been transferred but given all the complaints I have seen we must be ready to take action...

Money paid for furnture
paid in full and sent by HFIX to MRI. Which I have receipt of invoice for. My family brought apartments through MRI as well, that is now settled after a lot of lies and deceit and promises. Lucky that we have a building. We have involved a Spanish lawyer, but he is unable to contact anyone who's number we have given him...

More scamming going on
We have paid monies to MRI for a snagging list and deep clean that has never happened in our apartment/condominium situated in Lagos Portugal. Albeit, they passed the money on to whoever was supposed to be doing it. but it is still their responsibility. I have emailed them and the cleaning company on numerous occasions to request a refund as we ended up doing the work ourselves, and surprise surprise, all the contact details I had came bouncing back...

Furniture not installed
We paid MRI over 9, 000 euro to install furniture in an apartment we purchased in the Lighthouse Holiday Village, Bulgaria. Despite repeated e-mails and phone calls, to their Marbella office, Spain they have not contacted me to tell me what is happenning. They asked for a VAT payment on the furniture package we had paid for in May 2009...

Failure to deliver furniture
We paid MRI 12, 000. 00 Euros each for a furniture package on December 08. We took posession of the properties in May 2009 and asked MRI to deliver the furniture. Low and behold MRI are no longer in Cyprus and looking at some of the letters of complaint against them they are no longer in Spain either but I have a contact address there, so fingers crossed...

Lies
cont6acted us to say that MRI had withdrawn from Turkey and he was taking over the services. We went to a meeting with MRI at Bristol today, the promise was they had some money for us as the developer would not complete our properrty. on ariving at the meeting what they were offering was to offset our original deposit against one of their properties in Portugal or america...

Crooks offering to "help"
were featured on the MRI Support Group website. Now I find they are run by a convicted felon! I wonder how many people have lost money with these crooks. All of them?...

Fraud about Property in Italy
were really screwed by MRI. We went to Calabria/Pizzo in march 2008 to look at some projects. We found our dream and went for it. We payd the 3, 000 euro deposit, signed contracs, etc. When we came home we transferred the 35% deposit for the property. A few months later we still had heard nothing! When I call them in february this year to get som info the lady i spoke to said; Oh, haven't you got the info - MRI have pulled out of all projects in Italy...

Terrible experience
MRI overseas property is traping small ivestors into their overseas property scam since last three years. Unfortunately, we did not investigate the background of this company when we went on an inspection trip to Bansko, Bulgaria. We had no idea that this developer MRI, financial adviser CFP, and solicitors Legal Independence belong to the same/one mafia group...

Fraudsters and cheaters
get a mortgage and MRI would not do anything to help us. They would not return my calls or emails. Eventually we had to give up. Also, they told us a year before that we had to pay for our furniture package out right or they would not help us later and that they could not rent our apartment out without this furniture pack, so we sent of the 5, 000 (roughly) euros and now they tell us that this is non refundable! Complete scam artists!! Do NOT go near this company!...

hi, as anybody had any bad dealing with mri in or out of bulgaria i myself are in a battle with them at the moment i bought in Bulgaria and are very unhappy with them, i am wanting to end my contract before completion, so i am gathering information show i can prove how bad they are thus letting people know what i know and that, they are not alone!! please contact me kind regards alison...

HIDDEN CHARGES
Clients using MRI furniture packages please be aware, I Brought an Apartment with MRI at the time when the market was strong. The complex was recently completed, and the furniture was paid in full over two years ago, They are now asking for 20 per cent more before they will install Claiming this is a Goventment Vat which is fair enough, But surely this amount should of been put on the invoice at the time, How many clients have paid for there furniture then to be told to pay the extra cost, other wise they will not install !! Not only that, they also refuse to reply to my emails, Like to hear from anyone in the same situation...
