Sir

I am UTAPAAL SRIVASTAV, An INDIAN CITIZEN. I was on tour to SOUTH AFRICA a magnificent country in its Natural beaty and rich culture which I also felt during my visit to SOUTH AFRICA from18 April to 1 MAY 2024. I was tourist during this period along with my wife and daughter. Had a wonderful experience during my stay and also the people were found quite learned and helpful except one very bitter experience due to which actually I and my family got shattered and want to forget it.

This incidence happened on 30 April 2024 around 2.30 pm local time when my parked vehicle in PRITORIA was towed by the local city of Tshwane metropolitan municipality, reason told by them was wrong parking.

The lady officer on duty was very very rude to us to me and even with my ladies family members and not in a mood to listen anything from us. We had been requesting all along, but she was treating us as if we had done some crime and the criminals. We tried to narrate her about why we did the parking in yellow lining because in INDIA yellow line means the car parking place and more over one local person guided us to park there which can be confirmend fro mthe CC TV. we being tourist requested her that we had not done anything intentionally and also told that next day morning our flight to INDIA ie on 1 MAY. We requested her to waive the penalty as a Goodwill gesture but she had not listened anything. we had been there, requesting her for 3 hrs. I Told her also that since we are leaving for India on next day, we are not left with enough money to pay the fine. but she didn't listen. I had to borrow money from my friend and pay the fine.

Her Name as appeared on the fine slip is TSHKAMUNORO RO tel no [protected].

I have been finned very heavily for 2154 R.

my HUMBLE REQUEST

1) to you sir to look into this matter and request to advice the lady officer and teach her how SOUTH AFRICANs treats their guests AND the tourist.

2) Also request to kindly reimburse the penalty recovered from me of 2154 R as a goodwill gesture as it was an unknowing mistake which can be condoned. This will definitely help further tourism in SOUTH Africa and the revenue of the country.

Also, this will help me to erase only one this bad memory from this tour, all other memories are good only.
